This is my HG concealer. I have Olive skin, and use Amber #4. I have dark circles under my eyes. I apply a very lightweight highlighter under my eyes first, and then apply Amber #4 with a concealer brush. I repeat USE A CONCEALER BRUSH. Makes all the difference.

I use my ring finger to lightly pat and blend the product. It looks amazing. One lippy off, because Vincent Longo products are not available in stores where I live. Therefore, I can only purchase online.

I don't usually buy separate concealer - just use foundation to conceal whatever I need but this was a Sephora sample in different shades. It was sealed in tinfoil so should have stayed fresh even though it was laying around in my drawer for a while.
It was fairly thick when I opened it but worst of all, it did not cover anything. Not in light, not in medium, nada! Ok, maybe it was just a tad better than not using anything (hence, two lippies and not one) but I definitely needed to use my L'oreal Quick stick to cover up all the blemishes and stuff.

I love this concealer. I use the Medium color and apply it with a sponge to cover up blemishes and sometimes under-eye circles. I then set it with Clinique Stay Matte powder in 02 Stay Neutral. It goes on very creamy and I find that a little bit goes a long way. Although the price is a little steep at $28, I have bought it again and again because it works so well. An interesting note about the packaging: I used to buy it at Sephora until they discontinued it, and it always came in a little tub with a clear plastic lid that screwed off. I found that to be a little drier. Now I get it from beauty.com and it comes in a black tub with a top that flips open and has a mirror in it. I notice this has been creamier and sometimes a little gets on the mirror, so I try to scrape it off because I don't want to waste any. That's why the packaging only gets a 3. Overall though, highly recommended!

I got this as a sample at Sephora around last winter I believe. I know its an old review, but I wear undereye concealer daily and I've tired lots of them! I can call myself the undereye concealer expert! Thank goodness for samples or else I would be in the poor house. Anyway, this was plain aweful. No conceal in this concealer. In my case, I can deal w/ so so texture and so so consistency but if the conceal part is missing, than why the heck would we use it?

I am totally stunned. I was always completely underwhelmed by Longo's cosmetics, and actually had the bad fortune to discover that paying massive bucks for a foundation (Water Canvas) does NOT guarantee its performance on me.

That said, I am mystified and delighted to find that the Creme Concealer could well become an HG for me (which then, of course, means it will be discontinued at some point soon). I had a palette sample of these concealers, and casually tried on the Light while playing today. VERY light, indeed, but the texture and application inspired me to continue. I moved to the Medium and, voila! PERFECT shade (very difficult for me to find), PERFECT texture, PERFECT concealing properties.

I used this stuff everywhere: under my eyes, under my brows (tend to get a little red there, for some reason), on a couple of broken capillaries. I actually looked awake, and like I had decent skin! I was absolutely thrilled. I had been using Maquicomplet, but I'm not crazy for liquid-y concealers; they're usually not dense enough and they don't last on my combo/oily skin. If I bother to use concealer, I want it HIDDEN, and this does the trick, beautifully. I plan to get my hands on some more of this jewel. Mr. Longo has restored my faith (at least partially). At $28, it's not especially inexpensive, but how much have I spent LOOKING for this product????

I agree with the reviewer below who said that the reformulation is AWFUL. I used to love it, but the new formula is gooey, unblendable, and nasty. It was my HG but no more. Will update if they reformulate and I *dare* to buy it again.

And by the way, it also now stinks to high heaven - like clown makeup or stage makeup. Yuck.

At Sephora, I got a bit of pushy by SA lady said this concealer is very good and she choses Amber to match my skin tone so I thought I trusted her and purchased it. I put it on to see how it works for me in a few days, but I find that this concealer is too emollient that is very greasy and it has way too much slip so it never sets in, it just creases & spotty as it doesn't staying power. I was not happy about it so I had to return it.

I like this concealer. Great color match, good level of pigmentation, natural coverage, decent lasting power. There are a few concealers I prefer over this, but it's pretty good and one pots lasts forever. Seems like it's a bit hard to find now that many retailers have discontinued the line, but it's worth trying in my opinion.

I bought a ton of VL products at Sephora for 75% off this week.

I've always walked by the display before but never stopped to sample it. I was really surprised by how the formulations and colors are, especially for my dark African American skin (I wear MAC NC45.)

This cream concealer was very nice. It wasn't too greasy or thick and Sienna #5 matched my skin tone quite well.

I may very well go back and stock up on a few more, especially since it was so cheap but I can't say for sure that I would buy it at the full price.

They took it off the shelves because they re-packaging it. I just ordered it from the company and they changed the formula...it goes on gooey, and then dries all cakey. I do no longer recommend this. I have to call the company to find out why they changed the formula. It's just awful!

This was like 90% off at B&BW today and I just thought why not? I tried this on my bare face and then put on my MUFE Duo Mat in 218 (chocolate). This was a little too light foe me in the Dark #3 but after I put the Duo Mat over it I looked flawless. It perfectly hid all of my skin imperfections and I was floored! I usually use MAC or MUFE concealers but they are too drying to put under powder in my opinion. So I will use this under powder and the others with my liquid foundations. Very impressed. I think I'll get a back-up.

I got a sample of this and was very under-impressed. I found it hard to blend and it didn't cover my under eye circles well.

i bought this at sephora, because vl's products were on sale..well, i have to say that it does cover up better than my usual maybelline coverstick...it gives a more natural coverup that does not look too cakey or harsh..the shade i used was amber...i was afraid it would be too dark, but it actually blends well with my skin..

the only drawback about this product is its lasting power, doesn't last all day, and also it doesn't cover up my dark circles amazingly like i hoped it would (i mean for its price, it should!) but then again i tried it the day after i had bad sleep so i'm gonna have to see what it looks like when i'm not so tired..

overall, it is a good product, but i don't think it's worth its price, and i might be searching for another concealer in the future

This has to be one of the best under-eye concealers I've found! It spreads easily, doesn't feel too heavy, and it doesn't dry up my under eyes. The shade Amber matches my medium-dark colored skin perfectly. I layer a bit of mineral foundation over this to help it last.

This is a pretty good concealer if you can find a match. I am an NC30 light olive complexion and for a slightly lighter concealer i wear amber, and for slightly darker I use the dark. Depends on my tanning. Comes in a round pot with twist off cap. Reminds me of Benefit's concealer but with more shades. The concealer is slightly dry so I like using a stiff taklon brush (Vincent Longo makes an excellent one) to put the concealer on and then i use the ring finger to tap and blend. Lasts all day. Really nice product. Retails for $26 and will last quite a while.

LOVE this stuff. i went to sephora a while ago on a concealer hunt and basically tried every one there. i was looking for something that would be opaque enough to cover bits of redness, but with the right texture to work under the eyes and not look cakey. i thought i was going home empty handed, but this was the last one i tried and bought it immediately in the lightest color.

the texture is awesome. it looks almost wet in the container, so under the eyes it has a nice dewy look that reflects a bit of like and doesn't look fake like overly matte concealers. it has enough opacity to cover everything, but it blends well enough you don't get that urge to "even out" everything and cover your whole face (this always happens to me when concealer doesn't blend well and looks obvious.)

it has great lasting power, most of the time it stays on longer than the bare minerals i dust on after. i just use my fingertips and have been fine, but it seems like it would work well with a brush too. highly recommend!

I received a sample card of 6 different shades and I am blown away! The two lighter ones work great for under-eye area but the standout is the "Amber" color ... I have a bit of rosacea on my cheeks and this is a PERFECT color match ... blends great, stays put, creamy ... LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS. I have not tried any other Longo but I may have to now. I am rarely really blown away by anything but I love this.

Purchased this for 75% at BBW during the clearance sale of VL products. I have the lightest shade (Porcelain). Very creamy, blends on smoothly and effortlessly, no smell and covers very well.Doesn't go into lines, doesn't fade, does a beautiful job. I also use very little on my pretty dark circles. I'm impressed. I use the MAC concealer brush to apply and then pat/press with my 4th finger or pinkie. No complaints.

I received this as a sample from Sephora (MakeupAlley should really have designations for "free" or "swap" or "sample" for Price). This was the first time I'd ever used concealer and what an awful experience. I got out my Bobbi Brown foundation brush thinking I could just brush it on, but it was very hard, so much so that I had to dig some out with the top of my fingernail. But that's not a bad thing, maybe all concealers are like that and I just don't know yet.

The bad thing was what it did to my face. I've used many products over the years looking for the perfect flawless canvas look, and this is the first product that not only broke me out, but made me break out BADLY. The underskin cysts in my skin hurt so badly! Luckily, I tried the concealer on one side of my face only to see how it would hold up at the end of the day, and the cysts (3) are on that side only. I have terribly oily skin and I had hopes... high hopes... oh well.

I really like this concealer. I got the opportunity to try it as a free sample from sephora. The colors light and medium work well for my skintone and blend perfectly underneath my everyday minerals MMU (winged butter or buttered tan depending on how tan i am). I apply the concealer with a concealer brush (everyday minerals concealer brush) and it blends perfectly into my skin with just the tinest amount! I brush this concealer onto my old acne marks, which are light reddish purple and flat. I also brush this concealer on lightly around the corners of my nose for additional coverage.

The scent really doesnt bother me... in fact ive grown to like it and look forward to it during the AM makeup routine lol. Its sort of a vanillish scent w/ like a light light chocolate or hazelnut undertone or something.. I cant describe it, but it's delish IMO. Also, this concealer does not oxidize or turn orange at all as the day goes... the color stays true. Regarding the hefty price tag - My sample packet has last me a month already and ive made just a dent in a few of the pots... When I run out I plan on buying another sample pack off ebay for a few bucks. Great product!
