This nail polish starts peeling on me in 2 days, if I'm lucky. I've had chips start coming off that very day, regardless of whether I use a base coat or not. I have vinylholic, vamplified, pinkini, and instabling. Got these when they were in the mark outlet, and at rep price they were around $1 each -- and I still would not repurchase at that price. Ok, well the only one I would repurchase is instabling, which is a clear n/p with glitter and holographic sparkles -- this one stayed on as a top coat for me.

Synopsis: formula sucks, chips in no time; instabling (used over another n/p) being the exception.

I received one of these polishes as a gwp in Pinkini!! It's the perfect sheer pink-based nude for me so I thought I was set in finding my perfect polish! I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I just can't get it to go on streakfree! The color's perfect but the texture just doesn't work for me! I even like the cute little bottle that it comes in, but I think I'll stick with my OPI Privacy Please, at least that one's streakfree each and every time!!

I've been searching for a nice brown brown nailpolish and i got prehysteric. it has a kind of cool shimmer to it but other than that itsthe perfect brown and i really like it! plus i got it on sale for 1.99! i like the small size of the bottles because the big ones ALWAYS dry out before you use it all and if you think otherwise you are fooling yourselves (unless you're a manicurist or soemthing). anyways, i didn't find the quality to be any different than any other brands i've tried- i'm bad at picking, etc so my nail posish doesnt really stand a chance for more than 2-3 days anywyas...

I bought this because of the color I got roseology and I was pleased with the strong color when I recieved my purchase. I was not please however with the overall product. It was thin and needed three coats to achieve the desired color and started to rub off on papers, a book, and a table while doing normal everyday things. I used a strong top coat that I do not have this problem with other polishes. I just don't think of the price it's worth the small bottle since you have to use so much and your manicure won't last that long. With all the brands of polish out there you can find a similar color that will last much longer.

Worst nail polish ever. By the second day it is chipping, no matter what base and top coat I use. I love mark products, but this one is the worst I've tried. It isn't worth the effort of putting it on.

It's cheap, but the quality reflects the price. One coat doesn't last even a few hours, while multiple coats will only last a day, if you are lucky. Plus, for some reason, the gross nail polish smell never goes away, so you get a headache whenever you put your hands near your face. Another weird thing that happens is that the screw-on cap yellows after awhile.. can't figure that out either.. I would suggest buying a different brand if you are looking for something to last you longer than an evening.

I rated this with 3 lippies because the bottle I have was used and seems a bit thick. Not sure if its supposed to be that way or not, but it was difficult to apply because of it. I added some thinner and it seemed to get a little better but I'm just not sure how good this stuff is. The positive thing is that is dried super-fast. It might be worth a try, but I will probably stick with OPI, China Glaze, and other higher-end brands.

I don't like how small the bottles are for what you pay -- it actually makes it more expensive than buying a drug-store brand. However, they have pretty colors. I have tried this in Vamplified, Etherea, Iridistic, Rubian, Silksonic, Insta-Bling, Roseology, and Cinnamatic. All the colors are true to the catalog swatches *except* for Etherea which is *not* pink at all, but VERY golden. It dries SUPER fast, which is the #1 thing I love about it, because I don't have the patience to wait for my nails to dry and always end up messing up my nails when I use other brand. The only thing I don't like is that it cheaps easily on me, but then, I think that's my nail chemistry because I recently spent $22 on a high-end nail polish, and it chipped just as fast on me. I'm knocking off 1 lippie not because of the chipping (since I think that's my body chemistry problem) but because of the tiny tube you get for the price. Yes, I'll buy again.

I had in the bright red and although I liked the color, I found it too watery and prefer NYC and Wet 'n Wild to it.

I have this in Nuditease and love it. It lasts soooooo long on me that it's really a great value. And, as a stressed-out working mommy, I don't have time to wait for polish to dry so this works great. I can't wait to try more colors.

I am very happy with this. It was dry to the touch only after 60 seconds and I didn't have a major problem with chipping. I got this in Cinnamatic, a rosy-copper with gold flecks, and I didn't expect the gold flecks in it when I saw it in the Magalog. However, I am still pleased with it and will get more colours when I can.

Iridistic is one of the easter holiday shades mark released. Its a pale irridescent blue/purple/white? Its hard give a definite color because its like opal, its flashes different colors. Very feminine and delicate color. I may purchase one more. My only gripe is the bottles are tiny compared to the average nail polish bottle and costs $4.00. I think mark should enlarge the bottle if they are going to sell them for that amount.

I really like these! My favorite color so far is Glowsation. I don't have a problem with these chipping, but I don't put on a top or base coat with them, so maybe that makes a difference. These actually last as long as some of my OPI's. I hardly ever use up a full bottle of nail polish, so I don't mind the small bottle. Also, they are the perfect size to take with you for touch ups on trips. Another product from mark that I really like!

I have purchased about 3 polishes from this line. Skinnocence and snowadelic I got and like because they made a great french manicure, silksonic because it looked like a pretty pink. The Silksonic looked different than represented, and they others were great however I found the following:

-Polishes w. 2 coats and top and base coat lasted 1 day before the first chip
-w/out top and base coats actually last 3 days
-dry time about 70 sec
-small bottle SUPER small
-Lasted about 4 manicures (each bottle)
-Price is 2 high for the amount of full manicures you will get
Save your money go with OPI or Essie for the quality

I tried using these, and I think they are complete crap. The packaging is so so. Most of all everytime I tried applying them I saw little bubbles. I didn't shake the container, and I know how to apply nail polish. These are just a waste of time and money.

Not worth the price. You don't get as much in the container as I would have liked. The colors are different from that in the magazine. I was overall disappointed with this product.

Overall, I think the Mark, Set, Shine nail color is OK. Not that impressed. Colors are a lot like others I have tried and nothing is really special except that they come in smaller packaging. Some of the colors are way too sheer for me; like Paradisco, Aqualiscious, and Hypnomenon. I don't like applying more than 1 coat and even after applying 3 coats of these you could still see through the color. Guess it's great if that's the look you're going for. I got these on sale for $2.99 USD which isn't bad, but I don't really think I would pay $4 each for them just because of the small packaging. Not that impressed.

I love this stuff. I'm one of those wait-till-the-last-minute kind of people, and so this works fabulously for me. I have a habit of painting my toes as I put my sandals on, because it dries fast, I don't have to worry about smudging it. Love it!

I bought one in purple-ish shade and while it was a nice color, this and all Avon nail products just dont stay on very long.. they dont chip either which is a plus but they sort of rub off!
