I like this cream, but honestly, it's not that great as everyone here claims. In terms of moisturizing, I would say it's decent, nothing more.

But I simply ADORE the smell! I use this whenever I don't need super-duper hand repair.

Love love love this product! However, it's best if you use it before you go to bed and if you sleep in an air-conditioned room. It's a bit rich to apply during daytime.

Okay, I have been using this a good three months. This for me is a very decent hand lotion. I have been using this every night before i go to bed for the last three months. And I have to say it has improved the condition of my hands tremendously. I started noticing that my hands were getting very dry after each hand wash. This was never the case before. I guess as we age, we start to have drier skin, and at 26 I've been starting to see the change in my skin. I am not one to use lotion, as i felt that they are a hassle. But now, i use them religiously as my skin has changed quite a bit. The consistency of the lotion is much like most hand lotions, but i felt that this is less oily as compared to other brands. Easy to absorb and not super thick. After a few minutes of applying this, it would have absorbed completely making my hands super soft and nicely hydrated. It felt somewhat sticky and greasy upon application but goes off after a few minutes of application.

The scent of this lotion is very green and garden-like, it smelled as though you have just stepped into a garden. I like the earthy smell to it. And its mild enough not to be offensive. I feel that even after a handwash, this still keeps my hands pretty moisturized. I purchased this in the 100g tube and it costs around USD 24.00 where i'm at. Very pricey. But even after 3 months of using I've only used 70% of the tube, so it will perhaps last me another 6 months or so. Would I repurchase this? Yes, for the reason that this actually helps my hands become softer with regular use and that my roughened spot is completely gone. Highly recommended!

This is my HG hand cream, hands down. (pardon the pun) I have a ton of these around my house, in all different scents. This scent is probably my favorite, so I will put my review here. This is a lovely thick cream that sinks in quickly and leaves your hands beautifully soft. There is no stickyness, no slimeyness, and no weird residue, it soaks in perfectly. It is especially wonderful when used after C&E's Hand Recovery (this product doesn't get enough love IMO) It doesn't really last through a lot of handwashing, but I'm ok with this. I'm something of a hand cream junkie, but I always go back to this one, as it is by far my favorite.

I don't get it either.
It's as good as any other average hand lotion, but I have to re-apply a lot of times during the day and even then my hands don't feel soft.

The price is OK, but the lid annoyed me to the point that on the 3rd day I just got rid of it. If the lotion dries out I'll live.

The smell is horrible, but I guess you'll either love it or hate it. It's just not for me.

I think my Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour hand treatment is better than Crabtree & Evelyn, but next time I'll try Au Lait Hand Cream because that at least smells heavenly.

i DON'T GET IT! I JUST DON'T GET IT! Why does this product get so much love? I bought this at half price not even smelling it because I love the Citron hand therapy so much and because of all the glowing reviews I have read about this product. Most reviewers claim to love the scent. Yuck. It has a very herbal & strong medicinal smell. I am not usually adverse to scents but this stuff is just plain awful. I will use it on my feet at night because I just can't throw out anything and I don't want it on my hands. Oh, and I don't find it to be that great of a moisturizer either. It doesn't seem to last and my hands seem dry again in no time. Too bad I bought the 100g tube.

I instantly fell in love with this hand cream. I feel like i'm entering a warm and familiar garden when I close my eyes and inhale my hands. It's great at moisturizing and the packaging is beautiful. I got this for $14 and will most definitely purchase again.

NC42 MAC/ Honey in Bobbi Brown Indian Asian skin.

The most lovely smell i can think of and makes hands just perfectly creamy without residue. Costs 8 Euros and well worth it.

I like this hand cream but would not say it's the best. It works well during summer time and love the pump bottle. However, I need something more moisturizing and longer lasting during winter time. I would only buy this during sale time as I don't think the quality justify the recommended retail price.

I think the ingredients must have changed on this recently, on my package, the first 7 ingredients are:
water, macadamia seed oil, corn starch, hydroxyethel urea, emulsifying wax nestearic acid, cetyl alcohol, shea butter.
It also has rosemary, sage, cucumber, commiphora myrrha resin, treemoss, and 3 ceramides.
No parabens listed, but it does have disodium edta and sodium benzoate.
Nice cream, love the scent, sometimes on sale ( got 3.5 oz. for $7). Less likely to repurchase since C & E has closed the AZ stores.

Best thing I love about this is the smell. And it works so well for dry skin. However, like most lotions I have used, I often grow dependent on them. I have to use them continuously, and when I stop, the dry skin comes back. This product is no different from the others in this respect, except it takes a little longer for the dryness to come back once I stop using it. I haven't found anything better on the market, except for pure emu oil, which does not have that terrific scent unfortunately. I am not that fond of the packaging of this product though, hate the irritating black cover which you have to screw and unscrew. But however, its safer to leave this in my handbag and will not squeeze out by accident like many other lids.

My favorite hand cream of all time! I have used this for years and always come back to it. The scent is neutral so men or women can use it. It heals dry skin and cracks, but isn't greasy. You just need a little bit and it leaves skin so smooth. I like to put it on before I go out into the cold, just slip on my mittens and let me hands marinate, lol

Love, love, love the scent. I wish C&E used it in more products, like an EDT. It's a fresh scent with a touch of rosemary.

Hands down the best hand cream there is. Smells heavenly. Eventhough it's not cheap it lasts quite a long time for me (about 5 months). I would buy again and again.

oh my god, should have discovered this sooner!!! bought the 'gardeners' because it's a neutral scent (not floral or fauna) ... somewhat cinnamony though.... on application, hand felt 'quenched' of its dryness. im a laundryholic, daily exposed to harsh detergent powders...and i can't live without hand creams, everyday.. since 12 yrs old. it's an oldtime habit :/ this got to be the best, not oily, felt luxuriated, lasts long, and i also have the slimmer tube of hand recovery with the overnight gloves...can't detect the diff. both is equally GOOD. LOVE. my answer to younger-looking hands

Really great lotion, and it smells amazing, like cinnamon, and grass. The packaging, with the screw-on cap, is sort of annoying, because it's hard to put back on at times.

Love this product! It's a thick white cream that sinks into the skin beautifully and leave your hands feeling really well-moisturised. I also really like the earthy fragrance of the cream. The packaging can be improved; the screw cap can get really cumbersome at times. However, this remains one of my favourite hand creams!

I love this lotion so much. Great moisturization, delicious smell, and not irritating to my sensitive hands! It doesn't get sticky or oily at all, in fact it leaves my hands feeling silky.
