This is a good eyeshadow, but not one of my favourites. I love the way the colour looks in the packaging, but it's very faint when I apply it and is barely noticeable! I also own an Essence eyeshadow which is pretty much the same colour, but has much better colour payoff. I think I'll stick to the Essence one and won't be repurchasing this!

I don't know if they still make this eyeshadow... but I came across this while cleaning out my "stash" drawer and decided to try it. I can't believe I had such a great eyeshadow lying around neglected! I love this color! This applied very nicely over my usual eyeshadow base (bareminerals Prime Time) and lasted all day without creasing. It is such a pretty color: a light-med. chocolate bronze. Very similar to MAC Soba, tho, so if Clinique discontinued it... I'll just settle for my Soba. :)

This is a basic creamy beige color. Nothing special about it. You can't even see it on my skin tone.

It was my favourite eye shadow from Clinique- and I think the only one repurchased again and again till they they decided to discontinue it.. it was just a decent bronzey colour, but it was just a dream to blend, the container nice, but had problems with the last corner bits- same as estee lauder tom for collection duos..

I got this eye shadow as a GWP in a set with Angelfood, Stormy, Vintage Wine and Graphite.
This is a nice eye shadow for neutral looks, but I wouldn't buy it again, because there is nothing special about it.

Perfect. Beautiful, idiotproof, extremely wearable. And discontinued. Stupid, stupid Clinique.

Possibly the most flattering, beautiful, neutral shimmer eyeshadow ever invented. My daytime HG for years- and its been DISCONTINUED!! Ok so I know it's been unavailable for ages, but it's only now that I've finally run out of my stockpiled GWPs that I'm comprehending the tragedy of it all!
This pale, warm gold shadow gives eyes a bright, clear, smouldering look, making the iris pop and somehow brightening the whole face like no other shadow I've ever encountered. (Another Clinique High Impact ES, Sunkissed, comes close.) Looks sensational on my lids whether naturally pale NW15-20, or spray-tanned NW30.
It works perfectly as a base or on its own for daytime, or for a fresh-faced `I'm not wearing makeup' look for the beach or a casual night out. It has fantastic pigment, lasts FOREVER (both on the lid and in the pan), and for a shimmer shadow, manages to look incredible even on more mature eyes. I honestly never look so good as when I'm wearing this eyeshadow, it just transforms the whole face. It's 10/10, HG, never-fail, five-star material! Bring it back, Clinique!! (And while you're at it, bring back the Smudgesicle too!)

This is an unexpectedly perfect eye shadow. On its own the gold works as a slightly shimmery neutral, and it is perfect combined with almost any darker or more dramatic shade for nightime drama. On me it lasts all day with no problems.

this is the perfect compliment to tanned, summer skin. A nice nuetral with shimmer. Looks amazing paired w/ black eye-liner.

This is my go-to eyeshadow. The color is nice and neutral. Looks natural but with a perfect hint of shimmer. Very good quality shadow. Goes on smooth and does not crease. I've had my shadow for over a year and there's still plenty left in it and the color/texture has not changed. Good quality.

This is my HG of shimmery brown/taupe eyeshadows. It complements any shade imaginable. Haven't had any problems with creasing or fading. I'll be buying this until they stop making it!

I think that Southbeach is a great standard color to have in your makeup drawer. It works well by itself or with other colors. I have found that using an eyeshadow base helps the shadow not to crease and it wears a lot longer.

Good overall product. The color is great for year-round wear. Im not a big eyeshadow fan, I just like a little something to make me look polished and that I can wear with everything. It doesn't have good staying power, but oh well i'll survive for now. I've already repurchased and I will continue to.

I love Clinique eyeshadows, and own a boat-load of them, but unfortunately this one just doesn't work for me. I have TRIED and TRIED time and again to get this eyeshadow to show on my eyelids, because I love the color but it just won't show. My skin is olive (probably closest to MMM) and it looks like I put absolutely nothing on my eye everytime I apply it- I can't even really see the shimmer to make it worthwhile- my eye just looks bald and I end up applying another color. I found that Stila in Wheat gives a light sandish shimmer and color that shows up- it's more glitterish than South Beach but works well enough with my skin color. Alas...I must mess up the 100% buy again statistic...but I am still giving 3 lipsticks because it is Clinique and their shadows are great.

I love this colour. I would definitely buy again. It's the only eye shadow I have ever finished. It's a shimmery sand sort of colour that adds just a touch of neutral and natural colour to my eyes. I think it'd suit a variety of skin tones (am a cool-toned PPP). Great for everyday wear, blends easily and goes with many other shades for combinations. A real winner!

This is really the only Clinique shadow shade i would consider repurchasing. Its a pretty shimmery tan shade. Looks nice on, I would think, many skintones.

I also LOVE south beach, I hesitated buying it because I have so many browns but I'm so glad I caved! These colors are sooo pretty and will look even lovlier with a tan. They blend beautifully. The staying power could be a little better, but they really do make my blue eyes pop! And you can't beat the price - Hurray clinique!

This is a highly versatile subtlely shimmery gold/beige with a hint of champagne. I am a blue-eyed PPP and it really makes my eyes pop. I can wear South Beach to work or out at night since it's easy to create a neutral look or to layer for a smokier/bedroom eye effect. South Beach also works great with dark liners (I love it with Sue Devitt's Tanzania and a dark brown mascara). This eyeshadow blends like a dream, too. I think I've found an HG, and I never would've thought it would come from Clinique.
