EDIT: I've found a better one: Estee Lauder Electric Ginger Pure Color gloss. First, it's shimmer is slightly less chunky & sooo smooth. The doe foot applicator is soft (softer than MAC, btw). Electric Ginger certainly doesn't have a lot of color payoff - it's designed to be a sheer shimmer, but after wearing BB Spun Gold, I've realized that it doesn't have a ton of payoff either. I must have been packing it on to get it to show up, but that increased the stickiness A LOT. EL is just barely tacky & not sticky at all, so I'll just put a browny-bronzey lip liner underneath it or something, to give my lips a slight color. Spun Gold is still nice, but I definitely spoke to soon.
-------------------
This color is perfection in a tube. I've recently been on a lipgloss high, after finally finding a "perfect" foundation, I've been able to finally move on in exploring more makeup.

I tried this on a whim while @ Nordstrom hunting for the perfect foundation & it was like the heavens parted. On my C6 MAC Studio Fix powder skin (~ MUFE HD 153 & NARS Sheer Glow Syracuse - kinda), this is the perfect shimmery, non-sticky, browny, peachy, GOLDEN! lipgloss. I'm in love.

I just bought 2 from an e-tailer because I am absolutely unwilling to pay $20 for the tiny tube this comes in. I happened to find it much cheaper (thus the "3" rating for price), but if not for this stroke of luck, I promise you, I would have been dreaming of this without ever buying it, because I think the amount-for-price is such a con for this product.
Also not crazy abt the brush - I also much prefer the doe-foot applicator as most others do, but I will take it - it'll give me a chance to use my otherwise useless lip brush.

Overall, the color makes this a hit for me - for people with olive skin/neutral undertones, this works like a gem.

pros: pretty nudey-bronze color, nice to layer over lipsticks to tone the color down and add a sexy sheen

cons: $20 for a teeny tiny tube, probably half the size of most lipglosses you pay this much for! the applicator is a brush and the bristles can be unruly sometimes. the consistency is quite thick and gloopy so you have to apply this sparingly, maybe thats why it costs so much. it smells weird like playdoh too

I LOVE this product!!! HG status! I'm a very fair-skinned redhead with blue eyes. This color wakes up my face and gives a very pretty glow. It's not overdone, not too sticky, and I really like the vanilla taste. AMAZING!!!

As others have said, looks like nothing special in the tube, but very flattering on. Just so pretty and glowing. Really seems to bring my look together. I have trouble finding a gloss I like because my lips are pretty pink on their own. On me this is a warm pinky/gold nude with suble shimmer. Good everyday color. Always get compliments. Usually pair it with an apricot blush with more emphasis on my eyes. Not crazy about the brush, but if you are careful squeezing it back in the tube, not bad.

Like the last reviewer, I absolutely love this lip gloss. It is a beautiful shade of shimmery brownish gold. There is not a scent/taste to this gloss, and it lasts literally for hours, even when I'm drinking coffee. It is not sticky. I use it solo with a liner or to tone down a brighter shade of lipstick. I like the brush, although I understand it is an issue for many users. The brush applicator is fairly stiff, so application can be precise, and the brush allows a cleaner application over a lipstick than a doe foot applicator would.

Love this product! The color is great with my dark hair and fair skin. Very natural. Love the faint vanilla taste, and the thick consistency is very moisturizing. It can be sticky if you apply too much, so be sure to blot. I do dislike the brush applicator, as it tends to splay and make application tricky. However, I am on my second tube, so I would say this is one of my makeup staples.

I love this shade. It's a bronze-shimmery shade on my lips and it matches my skinshade (NC35). Not as sticky as other lipglosses and has a pleasant scent. To avoid the brush from splaying, make sure that it goes back in the tube carefully.

I like this color so much better now that I'm using less of it with every application. The brush splaying thing just irritated me until someone on MUA pointed out that it's designed that way to get out the last bits of gloss.

So now I use the applicator to drop a blob of gloss on my lower lip and my own lipbrush to scoot it around. I end up using less, so hopefully it'll last longer.

Beautiful color, even if it is too expensive.

This is a perfect golden nude for me - I have very pigmented lips. I was hoping that a bit more color would show up on my lips from this gloss, but oh well. It looks great on top of BB's Slopes lip liner on me (used to fill in my lips, not outline them). The combination shows up as a MLBB glossy golden muted red. As always, I love the formula because it's smooth and moisturizing. I like the packaging because it's small and fits easily in my jeans pocket or a clutch. I find the brush easier to use than a doe-foot applicator would be because the brush is more precise. It is prone to splaying, but if you're careful when you stick it back into the tube, it won't. I would repurchase this. My rating: 4 lippies. I subtracted one for the high price.

WOW! this gloss is deceptively boring and blah looking in the tube but once on the lips it turns your mouth into this sexy, nudie, your lips but better with gold shimmer, high gloss shine pout. if i had to describe the color i'd say it's somewhat a subtle mix of gold, pink, bronze, and nude. great for every day. love the long lasting formula, smoothness and slip of the gloss as well as the slight scent/flavor that tends to disappear after several minutes. although small, i do love the packaging. just picked up a second tube for my gym bag.

This is a color that in the tube looks boring (at least to me) a shimmer brown, BUT ON it looks amazing, totally wakes up my face, I love it! I actually bought 2 just in case Bobbi discontinues this (she has the brightest ideas sometimes..). (NC42, dark blonde hair with highlights and dark brown eyes).
STATUS: HG.

I really like this color, but it is a dupe of MAC's Beaux. MAC is less expensive and the brush is better than BB's, (MAC has a little sponge hoof instead of a cheap brush) so I'd purchase MAC over the BB.

When I am in a hurry and just have time for gloss, this is the one I grab. It gives just the right amount of golden shimmer with a little color. I was using MAC's OH Baby before I got this. It was okay but a tad too light and frosty on me (NC 44). This also gives a nice shimmer on browner lipsticks. I definitely plan to repurchase this. Although BB lip glosses are pricey they aren't as sticky as MAC and I love that the applicator is a small brush instead of a sponge. It makes application easier.

This lip gloss is hands down my favorite! I have brown skin with warm undertones (I wear MAC NC50) and this gloss is absolutely gorgeous on me. I wear it along with Bobbi Brown's 'Spice' blush, and it just warms up my entire face. Prior to this, my fav was MAC's 'Oh Baby' with 'Chestnut' or 'Cork' liner. I still love those shades, but 'Spun Gold' beats them all. It's warm, slightly brown/slightly pink, shiny, and shimmery...but with much smaller pieces of glitter than in. Buy it! You won't be dissapointed. Even though I hate the applicator brush and think the gloss is overpriced, I've made this a makeup staple of mine.

Spun Gold is one of my favorite BB gloss shades. As others have mentioned, it is a beautiful bronzey tone with subtle shimmer and it works very well for me. I'm very fair, neutral PPP skin with quite pigmented lips. I also like the staying power and soft vanilla scent. Very recently I was told at the BB counter that Spun Gold is now a permanent addition which is good news. $19, a repurchase for me.

Love this lip gloss. It's a shimmery bronze rose color with lots of shine. It really has staying power for a gloss too. The color works well on my PPP skin. My only complaint is the size of the tube. I bought it off Ebay & at first thought it was a trial or sample size. It's not, BB glosses are approx. .14 oz. & she sells them for 19.00. I got it off EB for half that. Unfortunately, I believe this shade is a limited edition which is too bad because it's very pretty.

After reading the reviews, I purchased this product the other day and I love it. I have had to refrain from using it this weekend while sitting around the house since the tube is so small. I just wish it came with a better applicator.

Just bought this color and it's great. Very pretty bronze shade with shimmer...exactly what I had hoped oh baby would be. They told me it is not a limited edition color. It is very pretty, I would definitely buy it again.

I bought this off ebay after reading all the reviews. Again you gals didn't let me down. BEAUTIFUL color, SEXY! I'm very fair and this color just brings out a natural deeper lip color. My lips look so pouty, bee stung. MAC was my sig lipgloss but after discovering B. Brown , I NEED more. If your fair and a blonde with blue eyes gotta try this one. Check ebay you'll find it. A WOW!!
