Love love love this lipbalm! When I was for thr first time at the Bobbi Brown counter the mua that was helping me picking out different lipsticks put at first this on my lips and I was immediately sold. Otherwise I didn't end up buying untill this afternoon at the Bobbi Brown counter and honestly I don't know what I was thinking.. Why didn't I bought this way earlier?! Best Lipbalm EVER! Rosebud salve was just fine but dried my lips out after a couple hours and Elizabeth's Arden 8 hour cream didn't do the job. HANDS DOWN BEST STUFF EVER.

I don't have much new to add to the previous reviews, but I really like this product. Like others mentioned, it's much better after you dig underneath the top layer to get to the creamier part. It is smooth and glossy, not waxy. I don't like lip products in a pot, so I apply this with a q-tip. The best thing about this lip balm is that it adds a rosy tint to my lips and makes them look better. The sunscreen is not broad spectrum, so I don't rely on this for sun protection.

This is the BEST and ONLY lip balm/gloss with SPF that does not dry out and irritate my lips. This is super moisturizing and adds just enough shine. My HG lip balm. I even apply it at night before going to bed to wake up with soft silky lips! Will buy again in a heartbeat!

HG for me. I am on my second container of this and I can't believe I haven't reviewed it. love it... use it every morning.... the little tub lasts me just under a year... I am not fond of having to use my finger but I love it anyway...highly recommend. I use this in the am and Paula's Choice lip lip tub at night.
HG stuff for me.

So I had a mad moment; me and my friends went into Bobbi Brown and went a little fangirly - I ended up spending about £120 on things and this was one of them. But I don't regret it one bit. Bobbi Brown, for me at least, has yet to disappoint, even if it does leave me penniless and living on breadsticks for a week whenever I want something. And this lip balm is just that, expensive but brilliant. It's instantly soothing, illuminating, and moisturises the lips instantly. Lovely package, lovely product. I have nothing bad to say other than its worth the money and the living on breadsticks.

I am in LOVE with this lip balm, it is truly an amazing product! I put it on every night before bed or whenever my lips are really chapped or dry and it always leaves them super hydrated and smooth. It doesn't make my lips look pale or whitish like a lot of other lip hydrating products do but brings out my natural color which makes it a great product to wear out as well. It is pricey considering you are buying a lip balm but it is more than worth the price you pay! I will continue to buy this product over and over because it truly is amazing. I have never loved a lip product as much as this one. I love the silky smooth texture and the consistency- you lips are instantly soothed and hydrated upon application. In the winter, my lips get really flakey and dry- this product is a miracle worker. I wake up with perfectly hydrated and smooth lips every single day because I use this at night. During the day when my lips are feeling dry and flaky, I put some of this on and they instantly feel better and soothed. The consistency makes your lips feel well hydrated but it isn't gooey or too thick. It is long lasting and stays in place. I have used this every night for 3 months and still have a ton of product left so although it is a little pricey it is well worth it because it lasts so long. This is one of my go to beauty products and a must have in my beauty collection and will continue to be!

I have been trying so many different lip balms. Most of them usually leave me with dryer lips than before I used them. At first, I thought the BB lip balm wasn't working. But I realized I needed to remain consistent with it. If you use it every morning and every night...you'll find that it actually works! I was so surprised b/c NOTHING has ever worked for me. I love it. I would splurge and get it again in a heartbeat.

This lip balm is magic!
Packaging is lovely and it lasts months!
Quite pricey but a good investment.
There are probably better but this is the best I've come across so far.

This is the best lip balm I have EVER tried, and as someone who not only suffers from chapped lips all year round but who also has a nasty habit of picking flaky skin off them and sometimes making them bleed, let's just say I have tried a LOT of lip balms in search of my HG! And now I've found it! When I sampled the tester for this balm in the store, I was massively impressed - the texture was soft, slightly sticky and very moisturising. I purchased it without hesitation. When I got home and tried my nice new balm, I was initially a little disappointed as mine seemed harder and much less moisturising than the store tester but over time, I discovered that the harder you press this balm, the better. Even if you make a dint in it to get some product, this was better for me as I needed a lot of moisture to keep my chapped lips soft. As soon as my lips go dry, I am then prone to start picking at them! So I gradually fell in love with this balm and didn't think I could love it even more...until I lost the lid! Trust me, this is going somewhere! Naturally, I was gutted because the pot is so stylish as well as functional but the lid disappeared down an air conditioning vent in the office where I work, so there was no hope of retrieving it! I wrapped up the lid-less balm to keep it safe until I got home and set about in search of a suitable pot to decant it into. I eventually found an equally cute Champney's glass lip balm pot, which only had a little product left, and I was never much of a fan of it anyway. I scooped out what was left of the Champney's and scooped in my BB balm. At first, I was quite mortified at how much I was messing up the texture - in the original pot, it was all pretty much smoothed out on top and now it was all gooey and a complete mess and I did wonder if it would still be usable but I needn't have worried - it is better now than it ever was! I am now able to easily get enough product onto my finger without having to rub and rub to get the desired effect for my poor chapped lips! It is softer and so much easier to work with. So my little lid accident came good in the end! I did see that a previous reviewer was advised by the SA to scrape off the top layer of the balm with a cotton bud to get to the good stuff, and whilst I didn't exactly do that with mine, it did get all churned up so I'm wondering if this is in fact what you need to do to get this balm working at its best. I don't recommend all that decanting effort, but when I run out of this balm and repurchase I will immediately churn mine up in the original pot so it's working at its best from the start. I would advise anyone struggling with the texture of this balm to do the same. I applied my balm about three hours ago, I have both eaten and drank since then and I still have a lovely moisturising layer on my lips. They are comfortable and look lovely. This balm also makes a perfect base for lip glosses and lipsticks, especially if you find that they usually dry out your lips. This forms not only a protective layer but a smooth base on which to apply. Perfect balm and worth every penny!

I swear by fresh's lip treatment, but wanted to try something new. Not a fan of this. Dried my lips out, felt sticky. Nice glossy finish, though. I'll be sticking with Fresh from now on. I typically love BB but this one just fell short.

Bought mine in January, so 9 months ago. It sits at my work desk and I use it several times a day. It will probably last me about 4 more month - so a year and that is using it multiple times per day. So this makes the price bearable. In general it is very good. I'm sure there is better, but overall I recommend it.

I've had mine since 2006, and believe it or not it's still ok. It's the way it was when it was new. Sticky, and with an unpleasant scent/taste. I've had it so long I decided to improve it, so I put the wax in a glass, heated it and mixed in a generous amount of vaseline, mixed, then poured it back into the tin and let it harden back up. Now it's great, Much less sticky and more glossy. The stickiness of it before I fiddled with it was bothersome. It still has a bit of sticky, but not so much that it's off putting like before. More moisturizing (I'm a Vaseline lover). I do like how if one really hated the balm they could just scoop it out and throw it away and clean the tin and reuse/repurpose it. That's cool.

The best lip treatment hands down. But I can't bring myself to give it 5 lippies. I am very pale but have full pigmented lips, and this seems to accentuate the pigmentation of my lips (even though it's a colourless balm). However, used at night it makes my lips wonderfully soft and full when I wake up in the morning. I simply couldn't live without it for a night treatment. Very expensive, but for something that stays on my nightstand, I love it. I will definately be repurchasing once this runs out (but it lasts for ages!!)

This is a good balm (and I've tried A LOT of balms in my quest for the best!), but I personally don't like the aftertaste of this one (which I didn't notice when I tried the tester in the department store). The taste puts me off using it often - which is a pity because it is a good product and it was quite expensive too. If you don't mind the flavour - go for it.

This is an AMAZING lip balm. When new, there is a wax layer on it which the sales assistant told me i have to take off with a cotton bud first so I can get to the moisturising stuff. Oh wow. This stuff is the BEST lip balm I ever tried. i would repurchase if I don't have so many lip balms already and like to try new things. It is a BIT tacky. a BIT. But so moisturizing I only need to apply this TWICE a day. After it's worn off/absorbed my lips are so moisturized it doesn't need lip balm for like half a day. Since this is quite expensive it's not my regular lip balm, as I still have my maybelline baby lips left, so I use that throughout the day, and this BB lip balm makes the baby lips perform so much better than before. My baby lips actually became more moisturizing and I don't have to apply as much. This BB balm is amazing. The best out there. Love it. The packaging is super sleek and chic, and the balm is a light rosy pink. It has basically no scent unless you sniff really hard there is a teeny weeny hint of a rose smell in there. The sales assistant said it was the mineral oils in there.
If I ever run out of lip balms...I'm going to repurchase. The first time I ever said this about a lip balm as I have a gazillion of them. This is saying something. In the photo the pot looks kind of shallow but there is actually a LOT in there, and the pot is deeper than I can see in the photo as well. GO GET IT

Bobbi Brown Lip Balm SPF 15
Texture: Soothing and wonderful. Non greasy, non waxy.
Packaging: Small tin. I would much prefer a lip stick packaging.
Odor: Fresh clean scent. Very little to no scent.
Performance: This is the only balm that has ever actually healed my chapped lips, not just soothed them. It does give a faint pink tint.
Cost: On the higher end side.
My rating scale is: EXCELLENT, GOOD, FAIR AND POOR
Overall rating for this product: EXCELLENT
Overall: Very good. I highly recommend it.

Best lip balm i've tried so far. Cute container...neutral scent...easy to apply...makes lips soft and moist for longer than any other balm i've tried. Not thrilled about the ease of application but it does its job so this is gonna be my HG till i hear of anything better! :D

Product: Very nice quality balm, leaves my lips pampered, non sticky but pleasant feeling.
Packaging: Although the silver tin is kind of cute I would really like this much better if it came in stick form, in a tube.
Overall: The balm has SPF 15 which I appreciate, but that makes it a product specifically for daytime use - which means I have to stick my fingers into the tin to apply - or take a brush which I feel is somewhat cumbersome. Not a great concept. Otherwise a perfect product which deserves 5 stars in my book, but the packaging only gets a 2 from me.
Price: $17, which sounds a lot for lip balm, but the product lasts quite a while.

this products deserves flawless reviews in regard to its performance. it is amazing! i had my MU done at a Pretty Powerful event and one of the first things the MUA did was scoop out a chunk of this stuff and pile it onto my lips. At first i was like "whoa there...overload...this is not going to work..." but i just waited it out and figured i'd wipe it off before she did my lipstick. i ended up being wrong because my lips absorbed a lot of it and there was no excess. my lips were smoother and fuller and perfect. the spf smell doesn't bother me and it doesn't interfere when i use this under othe rproducts. it is a must for me and travels with me wherever i go every day. it's like $15 which i consider to be a lot for a plain balm.. but it keeps my lips lovely and is worth every penny. the packaging is cute and classic, but i am a little weirded out by the fact that i have to use my hands when i'm not at home. i usually try to use the end of a clean brush or a pen cap or something just to barely scratch the surface and get enough out for 1 use. i try to avoid butting my finger/nail in it.

Love this. I've already bought 5 of them, so it's available everywhere. It's super moisturizing, though it does feel like a goopy layer on my lips. Do not care for the pan design, as you have to dig in to get product out. But it's working wonders, so I will keep using it.
