It's perfect its moisturizing, but it's very expensive, wow over the price ttop shelf, not too many items are in the chanel department in the department store macy's, but at the chanel counter and I had some choices I baught two lipsticks I splurged a coral-orangey one and a nude one, then this pinkish bronzeey coloured lipgloss named blizzard. I wear a lipstick over this, (a similar colour of course) then and so it doesn't fade quickly or quicker you know that . It's not too sticky. The staying power is medium. Regular chanel lipgloss it is, tit should be on a clearance sale, or halff offf, or buy one get one half off -or one for free, but it's alot of moneyt for a not a long lasting eight hour lipgloss. It lasts through 4 hours, not through mealtimes like air kiss or honeybee - from clinique or glaze or the clear lipgloss tubes - from MAC, bad news, lots of money, good news, even celebrities buy this and wear this shade and similar colours, thbnis is french-style creamy lipgloss and it doesn have a shimmer to it, I like that, buying more won't come anytime soon, so I'll buy cheaper thicker, longer lasting lipgloss. Chenl lipsticks and lipglosses have less choices than the other high-end pricey top shelf lipwear, cocoachanel does make great stuff, I have a largggge No.5 perfume and a light coloured green spring theme nail polish with a black sqare top

This is by far my most used gloss I am not a gloss person most of the time I tend to not like them for one reason or another but this color I really like it fits me well and i find it lasts is not overly sticky. You do need a light hand a little goes a long way.

I don't know where people are seeing the rosey/mauvey shade in this gloss because in the tube - at least to ME - it comes across as a bronzey-gold. On my lips, applied lightly, it comes off as shimmery neutral/gold. I line it with either Club Monaco's Pink Brown liner (now discontinued) or NYX Rose Brown liner. I have yet to check out the newer Glossimers but am anxious to do so. I've had this one for quite some time now. It still serves me well.

I've been using Blizzard on and off for 11 years. It is a very pigmented Glossimer (newer colors are more slick and glossy). I usually don't look great in mauvey tones, but this has enough brown in it to work for my NC25 skin tone. The key is to put only a thin layer on; as it will look too silvery and frosty if you keep adding layers. I also found when I get to the bottom of the tube, it thickens up more and makes it harder to get thin application. That said, it looks gorgeous when applied right. EDIT: Had to return. Either I've changed or formula has gotten thicker. Looked too frosty on me by days end.

I'm so sad that I don't really like this. Like other reviewers have commented, it comes out super glittery and frosty on my lips. When I looked in the mirror with good lighting, it looked like my lips were covered with tons of silver glitter -- not in a good way. It kind of looked like I was foaming at the mouth a bit. Gross :(

Blizzard is one of my favorit colour from all Chanel Glossimer color range. Lip-brownish color "safe-color" that might suit well for all skintone

I don't get all the "frosty" comments. This is extemely natural on me (I have highly pigmented lips) and the shimmer picks up lots of light and gives dimension. Maybe it is because my lips are the same colour plum as the gloss but this is very natural glamorous. With just a bare touch of liner it is truly WOW.

I bought this on a whim because I was in the Chanel store in Vegas and wanted to get something (but the big-ticket items were out of my reach!). I've worn other Glossimers and liked them a lot, but usually I go for darker colors. I thought that this would be more neutral, which would be a change of pace for me -- but the frostiness is definitely prominent, and keeps it from looking like a boring beige. I was actually surprised at just HOW frosty it is. If I carefully apply one thin layer, it looks great -- a little shimmery, understated, classy. But, if I put on a second layer (or reapply it before it has all worn off), it comes off as overwhelmingly frosty and garish and almost porn-star-ish. So I have definitely learned to apply it lightly -- and to make sure that I don't reapply without first wiping any leftover color off my lips before I put on more. I thought this color would be liberating, just a light shimmery thing that I threw on in the summer -- but, in the end, it requires a lot more maintenance than I expected! It's pretty when applied properly, but I don't imagine I'll use this quite as much as I thought I would.

Very pearly frost. I can tell their is a hint of plum in all that frost but those frosty colors just wash me out. I've tried it as a highlighter on my lower lip just so it would'nt end up not used. Well it is in the will not use ever again pile.

I find this a brilliant glossimer. Great to wear every day and flattering on everyone. The gloss wears really well and the tube seems to last for ages! A very feminine colour that gives you a healthy glow. A definite must have.

This did not compliment my skintone at all. This was wayyy too frosty for my liking and the mauvey-plum colour (even though I wear many other plums 'n' mauves) this, somehow, looked all wrong on me - somewhat like 'washed-out' if possible because it is quite pigmented. Not repurchasing this.

It is a pretty dainty color but compared to other glossimers (which I love) it is just not special enough. I had cracked open a new Christian Dior Fig Nectar gloss the previous day so this kind of paled in comparison.
Feels nice but just a tad too bare.

This is my second Chanel Glossimer purchase. This is one of those products that looks awesome in the shop, but not so good when you get it home I think......at least that was the case with my first glossimer (gave it away). So Blizzard also looked awesome in the shop and I was a bit wary of that, but luckily this time it also looks awesome on me :)

This is a pinky brown colour, but just paler than MLBB. I love the long-wearing quality of this gloss and when it does wear off it leaves the sparkle behind. I know this is not good for everyone, but for me it works really well! Yes it IS very sparkly, but for some reason it does not look wrong on this 36 year old :) I have rather small (but plump) lips and my complexion is VERY pale, so this gloss is great because it doesn't make me look like a painted doll AND it adds a bit of dimension with the sparkles which I believe makes my lips appear to take up a little more area on my face.

My favourite way to wear this gloss right now, is over the top of Giorgio Armani Lip Wax #2. The combination is soooo perfect!! I've tried it with lipliner and on it's own, but nothing came close to the effect of the GA combination.

There is one teeny tiny downside to it though, it does appear metallic/frosty if I apply too much. If I'm careful, I don't get this problem, but it's all in the application.

Still, I'd buy it again!

Blizzard is a neutral-cool, frosty plummy mauve that works with many skintones. Because of the frost factor, when I wear this I apply one layer very lightly. I love the Glossimer formula: long-lasting, non-sticky, and very glossy.

I love the Chanel Glossimers, although they are quite expensive. They last long, they are thick and not sticky. Blizzard looks like a frosty pinky/mauve on me. Very nice. Love it.

I love glossimers - non-drying, and thick enough to last reasonably well (for glosses, anyway). Blizzard is a fairly pale, cool pink with lots and LOTS of silvery glitter - if you don't like glitter, stay away! - and it's quite well pigmented for a glossimer. You can smudge it out for a slightly more subtle look or go full on disco with it.

Packaging is annoying, you have to be very careful pushing the applicator (doe foot, btw) back into the tube or it overflows everywhere.

I hate hate hate to say this but I am disappointed that I did not like this as much as I thought I would - not because of the color but because of the staying power. It has none at all for me. I love the color and the packaging. The price is too high for this. I believe that this is really no better than NARS glosses in my opinion. Boy do I hate to say that because Chanel should be "the creme de la creme" of everything. The only glossimers I have ever had though are this one and the red one called Pulsar which is a red shimmer. I guess I had forgotten that I did not go nutso over it. I think however that I might like to try the other glosses Chanel has come out with.......

I first bought this gloss back in high school, and I still love it to this day. It's saying something if I rebuy a lipgloss, because I'm so fickle. And, this gloss is twenty four dollars so I have to love it to keep buying it all these years! Blizzard makes me look polished and complete. I love it when I'm tan, I love it in the dead of winter, I love it always. It has been a staple of mine for years, and I do believe that it complements most skin tones. It helps the lips to stand out a bit, but not be the star of the show. I am usually into the more makeup on the eyes and less on the lips look, and this gloss complements all of my eye makeup (whether natural or not). I highly recommend it. Yes the price is steep but the formula is thicker so it last longer with each application and in turn the tube will last you. I use it often and I think one lasted me at least a year and half to two. HG, no contest!
