I was so intrigued by the reviews here I went online to look for Stephane Marais' products and I'm hooked! I have the Concealer in P1, and it's a fantastic, creamy product that gives a silky, radiant, luminous finish. I use it as a blemish concealer as well as an eyebase and it brightens and opens up my eyes immediately. It isn't at all pinkish, more like Ivory, even though it is in the "P" range. I have light yellow skin and it matches. My previous HG was Lancome Photogenic Concealer in light Buff, but the SM texture is even smoother and silkier, and goes on in a very thin layer, thus not at all cakey. On the lids, my eye makeup looks better and stays longer. Since I've been asked, it's very hard to find but mine came from an online store called beautyandthebestcosmetics.com that stocks whatever's left of the makeup line.

I have been buying all my Marais products on Ebay and ended up buying foundation, lipsticks, loose powders and several concealers. The concealers are not too shabby! I mix my Clea de peau Ochre with Marais concealer # 3. I think the Cle de peau is much creamier - but mixed togther they do a great job!

A very high-quality, well-formulated stick concealer in a stylish little red-and-white tube. Plenty of coverage—a little bit goes a very long way— and its creamy blendable texture makes it very suitable for use under the eyes. It is so blendable, in fact, that it can be used just sheered out around the t-zone to even out skintone on minimal-makeup days. A lovely product altogether, such a shame this line was discontinued. I owe Honeydew thanks for recommending this range to me.

This is a wonderful all-round concealer. Does well with red spots, minor blemishes and under-eye circles. It has a texture that allows it to blend beautifully, look natural and cover well. Lasts fairly well on me (my face is the type that consumes makeup for lunch!) and only has a tendency to go slightly cakey if I put too much on AND the weather is very hot.

'Tis a great pity that it isn't so freely available anymore and I'll be rather upset when mine runs out!

FAB FAB FAB...love this line of concealers (he's actually the designer who created the Cle de Peau Concealers)...these concealers are even better than cle de peau AND there is an even better selection of color for different skin tones.....soooooooooooooo sad because I think the line is folding!! :((((((

love the packaging...really really love it.
the texture of this is sooooooo beautiful..it really is very very creamy and *sigh* just great. But why-oh-why does it have to accentuate the fine lines around my eyes?? so disappointing.

this looks great as an overall face concealor as well - shade2 was perfect..an absolute PERFECT colour match. and conceals well without the cakiness. blends well with your skin.

but back to the previous point - it does accentuate fine lines. so cant say i'll repurchase. I find liquid concealors do not accentuate lines as much as cream stick concealors. thats my experience thus far.

its discontinued now - so more reason to shell out the AU$68 to try it before you lose the opportunity. in a way, it helps to justify the price...kind of =P. thats my logic anyway.

I love how smooth and easy it is to blend it. It also matches my NC35/30, yellow med to dark tan asian skin. Unfortunately it doesn't cover my undereye circle as much as I want it to and it settles in the fine lines even when I wear an eye cream. It also doesn't last that long. I am continuing to use it until I found my perfect concealer for my dry 33 yr old skin!

I LOVE THIS CONCEALER!!!!! I have the Cle de Peau in Ochre and I have to say that Stephane Marais is by far THE BEST!!!! I have never had concealer like this before!!! It blends beautifully and hides my dark circles like a dream! I am so heartbroken that this line has been discontinued. Hopefully it will make a comeback in the future and still have the awesome quality.

This is such a great concealer, doubled by the fact that Barney's has the remainder of their Stephane Marais line 50% off for close out. I got a tube for a mere $19 US!!! I always wanted to get Cle de Peau, but I couldn' t justfiy that price, but for $19 I got essentially the same thing in a GORGEOUS package! Too bad the line is being discontuned.

I've no idea why the #3 concealer matches my skin since I wear the SM Fluid Fdtn in P2?? Maybe it's because I'm covering blemish-scars/red marks circles. Maybe bc this is a fairly sheer concealer? Maybe I'm blind and am really walking around with dark orangely splotches (not--checked this 1,000,000 xs) lol? Whatever the reason, this stuff blends perfectly on my skin and lasts all day--right up there with Kevyn Aucoin's SSE. I did repurchase this recently so as to have a backup now that the line is discontinued. When I run out of this stuff in about 6 years or more, hopefully there will be even better options. Great stuff!

This is a nice lightweight concealer but wasn't enough to cover my blemishes and redness. It also wore off in a few hours. I tried it for my undereye circles and it seemed to cover fairly well, but, as with the blemishes, it completely faded in a few hours. I think if you have very minor skin imperfections and dry to normal skin this is a good concealer. But for oily skin that requires spackle-like concealer, this doesn't do the trick.

Pretty good concealer, though it does't completely cover my circles, but I have pretty dark circles. Would repurchase unless I find HG....

I love this concealer, it looks really natural. I use it under my eyes and it covers them reasonably well.

It was worth the $68 AUD price tag.

Accidentally hit delete instead of editing for update.

Product Description:This superior long lasting concealer corrects all minor flaws while giving you an Spf protection of 15. It contains Macadamia nut oil and thiotaurine for hydration and anti-oxidant protection as well as micromatic color particles and quick-drying oil technology. Is available in 8 shades.

Cost: AUD $68

On Me:A creamy concealer that dries to a powdery finish. Supposedly no need for powder to set the concealer. I find that it conceals my blemishes very well...however it doesnt totally cover my undereye circles completely. i use this as a base for cream eyeshadows and it works fine.

Update: Need a good eye moisturiser under this, if not it kinda creases after awhile. I noticed if I use this continously for a week, it causes my undereye area to dry up. So my skin flakes/peels while putting the concealer on.

Wont repurchase. Am sure that I can find something better at a cheaper price.

I tried this concealer in #1 first and it was way too light- looked like chalk on my face. I returned it for #2 and have to say this is the best match for my skin tone than any other concealer I've tried. The price is high but the product is worth it. It's great for my oily skin, covers seamlessly and never gives me that "racoon" effect under my eyes. I have very sensitive skin/eyes and have had no adverse reactions at all. Although I'm cool toned and this is slightly yellow based, it works beautifully for me. I really like the artsy tube it comes in too! I'm very pleased and will repurchase.

Yet another beautiful product from Stephane Marais. A bit pricey for a concealer (although not close to the price of the CdP or Chantecaille Biolifting) but for the lovely packaging and quality of the contents, its worth it. It is a heavier concealer, its a stick type formula, and the eye area has to be moisturized well before application. The texture is not as easy to blend as the Cle de Peau, but it does yield the same results. I purchased #4 Sand which is a light/medium warm beige, which is close to the Ochre color in Cle de Peau. It's a smidge dark (like the Cle de Peau) so I'm going to purchase a lighter color to blend with it. There is also a Pink Beige tone which I'm going to buy to brighten my eye area. Lovely Lovely .

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! This is far and away the best concealer I've tried, period. I've tried Kevyn Aucoin, Shu, YSL, Dior, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Becca, Shiseido, Dermablend, Cle de Peau, Armani, Laura Mercier, and nearly any other you can name, and this kicks *all* their butts :D Here's how:
#1) gorgeous texture, smooth and creamy, but still a little powdery-- it's like silk in a tube

#2) beautiful finish: completely natural, uncakey, doesn't accentuate lines

#3) does not budge even a tiny bit

#4) *perfect* coverage: you just need a tiny bit to cover even the darkest scarring and circles

#5) great range of natural shades. I can *never* find a match for my yellow-olive skin (this was my main problem with CdP) so this was realy important to me

#6) the tube is so cute I could cry! The one I just bought looks like the pic an earlier reviewer posted, ionly instead of beige the body is red

In short, it's a definite HG for me, and I'd rec it for anyone else to try, without hesitation! :)

I like this concealer very much. Not quite HG materials but very nice. It is just a tad bit dry for me but I am very dry under the eye area. Covers well and No. 1 is a great shade for ppps!

Yes, yes, yes! Finally a concealer that goes on creamy and opaque around the eyes in a natural way. This doesn't highlight fine lines; it doesn't look cakey, unnaturally pink or yellow; it does cover my dark circles and veins; it does provide a healthy, natural lasting base over my oily eyelids; and over all it makes my eyes look smooth, wide awake, refreshed and younger. It really does. Concealer is one of those products that seem to me to have taken a quantum leap in their evolution lately and I've discovered some good ones in the last year, but I have to say that this is hands-down my favorite, even over my Cle de Peau. However, please note that I am only wearing this under my eyes. I don't know how this would perform over a blemish or on someone with oily skin. It might be too creamy for that. I wear this in O4 and I'm a MMM/NC35.

I've been using this concealer for about a week now. It has slowly taken the place of my well-used BB creamy concealer kit. I believe this is best used on top of your regular eye cream. The product glides over the skin and is easily blended with gentle patting. Dries to a nice powder finish and doesn't settle into lines. I haven't used this to conceal spots, but for under eye concealer this stuff is excellent. Despite the small size of the tube, this will last a very long time. I only need a few little dabs to make my circles disappear. I use SM#2, a perfect match for my LP beige dore, MACnc20/25. I've noticed that if I use a concealer that is too light under my eyes, it looks a bit too grey. Will buy again if I ever need to in the next few years! Also adore the packaging, very chic! *Edit* I just had to stop using this due to milia. I cannot deduct any points since I still believe this to be an excellent concealer. Perhaps I'll try it again in a few years.
