The scent is delicious - creamy and fruity, if you like muskier sweet scents, but this is a very average conditioner, for my hair (very very thick, fine-to-medium, wavy textured, navel-length and quite dryish). It is simply not moisturising enough, neither is Retread, Lush's conditioner for dry hair.

Ask your local store for a sample, this would probably be fantastic for people who don't have a massive annoying mop of hair like I do.

I use it for the scent, mixing it with a stronger, blander-scented conditioner/treatment. Would not repurchase but would definitely buy a perfume with this scent.

One of the best smelling conditioners i have tried. It just does not do anything for my hair aside from that. The scent lingers all day though especially on warm days. If only this actually improved the condition of my hair i would stock up on these.

I received this for my bday! At first i was like, sheez, this is going to dry out my hair! I've used Lush's hair products before and wasn't entirely impressed so i was skeptical when i received this. When i applied it in the shower, it felt like it wasn't doing much to moisturize my hair. Was feeling disappointed... until..... i stepped out, dried my hair and wow! My hair was smooth, bouncy and smells amazing! Needless to say, i went back and got another 3 big sized bottles to keep during the sale :D

Yummmm, it really does smell like a strawberry milkshake! <3 Obsessed with the scent ahhh!

Anyway, I find it not quite moisturizing enough for my thick hair that has pretty dry ends. But I still use it for the delicious smell! I will definitely be on the hunt for something a little more penetrating though.

I purchased this conditioner because I have a small bottle of Daddy-O that I needed a conditioner for, and thought I'd give this a try. The smell of this is okay, it reminds me of a Bath & Body Works scent from the early 2000s called Spiced Vanilla. This is not a strawberry milkshake scent and I have no idea why it's advertised as such. It contains vanilla, strawberry, orange, clary sage, lavender and benzoin. I cannot smell the strawberry at all, it's actually more of a grown up, woodsy/ spicy vanilla. The scent does stay in your hair. The smell is intense and I don't like it at all.

As far as the conditioning properties, it does not detangle very well at all. Even though it's silicone free, it still contains fatty alcohols and lanolin, which can build up too (as can certain oils and waxes and butters, but the point of conditioning ingredients is to condition, and clarifying every once in a while takes care of any build up issues) so I don't know why silicones get all of the blame for this. They are used to help smooth and detangle, and this conditioner certainly lacks in that department. After drying, my hair is left a little dry, but it still has body and a little bit of shine. I've inquired before as to why Lush uses SLS in their conditioners, and they told me that it's to help the other ingredients wash out, and it does in fact feel to me like it rinses cleanly. I wouldn't risk using this as a leave in, though, that's not what an ingredient like SLS is intended for. Kind of pricey, and I'm not that crazy about the scent or performance, so I'll use it up, but probably won't buy again.

Awesome!! I am a newly converted Lushie. I adore evthing I've tried from Lush & this is no exception. I bought the smallest bottle of AC (still set me back $10! Eek.) but you don't need much. What I do is wash my hair w Curly Wurly (once) & work a little AC into my ends & by my temples (my hair is thin by my temples). I think most ppl r using too much product when they say it takes half this bottle to use in one shower "session" coz mostly to me it feels like ur not even using product. There's not that traditional "slip" like w reg conditioners u get but trust me it's working coz when I let my hair air dry it is so curly (my hair is 3A). The smell is amazing! I heard they had a perfume solid of it at 1 point idk if still available. My hair hasn't had any adjustment period since this is similar to low-poo (going from cheap DS hi-sulfate products) but I understand others have but my hair luvs Lush! It's taken the drudgery out of mornings getting redi! The scent is like a strawberry milkshake but w a boozy spiciness. Lush products are highly addictive!

This conditioner is my holy grail. It smells amazing, makes my hair feel fantastic and is not heavy on my scalp. I have very damaged hair and this makes it feel brand new. I pair this conditioner with the New Shampoo Bar.

The price is expensive, but well worth it. My hair is so soft and I smell like a vanilla milkshake. I will definitely buy this again and again.

I'm quite disappointed with this.
It does help moisten my hair without weighing it down, which is essential for me as my hair gets greasy really easily & quick. But my hair needs moisture as its extremely long (by my waist).
It smells lovely in the bottle but I can never smell it in my hair afterwards. It's not very strong smelling once used. I also think it's really expensive, you can get products much better products for the same price. Like TIGI Catwalk & bed head. Personally I would rather buy drug store shampoos & cons and use high end hair masks. My scalp is really sensitive and all LUSH hair products give me dandruff.

This conditioner has a nice consistency, not too thick and not too liquidy. It smells sweet and creamy at the same time, the fragrance does stay in the hair for quite long! I washed my hair the night before and I can still smell it now (it's midday). I have layered hair and the ends are dry. This conditioner helped to detangle my dry ends. Overall I'm happy with this product! I also really like the solid Jungle conditioner as it smells exotic. The little bar basically scented my whole bathroom. So I alternate between these two. Oh, I use Seanik shampoo bar which gives a nice amount of lather and leaves hair feeling clean, fresh and quite voluminous due to the sea salt in the shampoo bar. The eczema at the back of my neck (which I suspect was due to harsh chemicals in commercial shampoos and conditioners I was using) is also clearing up. Thumbs up to LUSH!

It smells beautiful. And the scent stays in your hair for a loooong time. But it is not very moisturizing. The conditioner itself is thin. And you have to use a lot. Too expensive in my opinion to use so much in one use.
