First of all let me start by saying this is the best LUSH solid shampoo for summer! I ordered it off the LUSH UK retro and as advertised it does cool down you head in a nice way, like your breath after eating spearmint gum rather then a science lad experiment on your head (I'm looking at you "Cool wave" ಠ_ಠ) the shampoo itself smells wonderfully minty and slightly peppery, like strong mint gum, very refreshing but it doesn't really leave a scent in your hair though you do need to be careful where you store it like with NEW! it does take over other scents so unless you want all your soaps smelling of it for a while it's best to leave them apart :) all in all, great summer shampoo super refreshing and I'd buy it again once I'm finished with this one!

this is how I use the shampoo and all LUSH solid shampoos basically:

IMPORTANT!! You must have a place set aside to drain the bar after using it! Otherwise it just turns mushy and you end up wasting a lot, I use the LUSH tin, I just prop up the bar with the lid while showering, use it and then prop it up again to dry and when it is I pop it into the tin for safekeeping :)

So first thing you need to wet your hair, and I mean really wet it otherwise this won't work as well.
Take the bar and swipe it over your hair, I have really long down-the-back hair so I swipe the top of my head first then I put the rest of my hair over the right shoulder and swipe it, lift it up and swipe the bottom and same again on the left side, it might not seem like a lot but rub it in and you'll get lots of lather TONS of it :D
after all that just wash your body as usual and only at the end wash it out of your hair for maximum affect

One of my favorite shampoo bars from LUSH! It doesn't increase my shedding, smells great, and doesn't dry out my hair. I think this is retro, but I'm still able to find it on the LUSH site. Will purchase this so long as it's offered.

I was expecting a very refreshing peppermint smell, but it really does not have much of a smell. Nothing special if you ask me.

Dr Peppermint was my first Lush purchase a long time ago, and it still conjures up the smell of summer and the beach every time I use it. It does a good job of removing sea salt, makes hair shine and smell refreshing.

Nice minty clean fresh scent. Don't know if it helps with hair loss but does not give hair bounce. Featherweight Fruit Bar from LUSH does that.

Another great shampoo bar from LUSH. It has peppermint in it and great as scalp treatment. It leaves my hair smells like peppermint and great staying power :) My dad loves this shampoo too :)
