I just bought this color when my boyfriend took me out to a little MAC splurge and I remember an SA using this color on herself so I bought it. It's a great color to blend with. I can use it with any color that's the beauty of it. I also love to use it to highlight my upper eyes. It's a great color to own in your collection.

I absolutely love to use this color as a wash over my eyelids. I then use either it with Satin Taupe in the outer v & crease; or use it with Urban Decay's Toasted in the outer v & crease. But it is not limited to these types of colors...it works so well with browns, plums, and burgundy colors. It is spectacular!

hands down my favorite shadow. the texture of this is heavenly. i wanted to get naked lunch originally but every counter i went to was out, so i began swatching for shades that looked similar and picked Jest which has a more pinkish tone than naked lunch. what a blessing in disguise! i have nothing more to say. i actually love the color of this more than naked lunch. it's a sophisticated, sweet, soft pink that has subtle but noticeable shimmers perfect for an everyday look to work or a date especially in SUMMER! zero fallout and nice pigmentation. this has stolen my heart from the array of urban decay shadows that i love.

Ask me how many of these I've bought since I started using MAC shadows and I am hitting pan on one right now. It's a staple in my makeup kit. It's a frosty peachy beige--a bit more frosty than I'd like but it's so blendable and it lights up my eye area (which is naturally darker pigmented) that I can't do without it. I often wear it with Omega, a matte taupe, or with a chocolate brown or an olive green like Fiction. It also goes with teals--one of those colors that works with nearly any contrasting crease color.

This is one of my all time favourite eyeshadows, I am always grabbing for it when I'm doing my makeup. It is a soft and frosty pink-peach colour and it looks amazing on my NC25 skin. I can wear it everyday with a light brown in the crease like wedge by MAC or even with a light purpley colour like Haux by MAC. It can also be taken into a night time look with a dark brown or a gold colour, anything really. This colour brightens the eyes and is so versatile so I recommend it to everyone!!

This shade is a nice frosty peachy-pink shade on my eyes. I usually put a base shade on, then layer this on the lid up into and over my crease, then whatever eyeliner and there you go! MAC eyeshadows are definitely some of the best out there. This shade is almost like the coveted Stila- "Kitten" in that it has just enough shimmer and color to it, that you can use it as a wash, base shade, or even a highlighter. I prefer "Kitten" though as it has just a little more color to it that shows up on my eyes, though "Jest" is still a nice shimmery natural shade for sheer washes. I actually could use this as a base shade for other shadows but I prefer to use it as a lid shade.

I love JEST!!! It looks beautiful on the lid and as a wash. I usually don't like pink eyeshadow but I just adore this shade. It doesn't seem peach to me at all. When I apply it to the lid I use a more fluffy brush like a 227 rather than a 239 because it creates this glowing affect. I much prefer the color when using an UDPP rather than a MAC Paint Pot. My favorite pairing is with copperplate in the crease, looks beautiful and effortless.

Disappointing. I ordered this online and was very excited about this one. Sadly instead of the frosty peachy shade I was expecting, this pulls a very odd raspberry pink and tan colour on my pale, cool skin. As you can imagine this is not at all nude / natural etc. It looks pretty awful.
I've found if I layer Ricepaper underneath it tones it down slightly, but every time I apply this e/s it's a complete disappointment. It's not flattering at all; it's colour for the sake of colour, and I'm very aware that I'm wearing it all day as I worry that it looks worse under the lighting at my workplace.
Sadly the UK returns policy dictates that once you've tried it you have to keep it. I'm determined to make it work somehow, I'm just disappointed.
I've found that a few 'natural' MAC e/s that I've purchased have pulled a very tan / orange colour - I've bought quite a few sight unseen in the past as I'm miles away from a MAC store and never had this problem, but never again.

Jest is a gorgeous lid colour on my NC30 skintone. I couldn't decide between Jest and Naked Lunch - so I bought both. I reach for Jest when I do purple neutral looks and Naked Lunch for browner looks. Jest has a nice sheen & I love layering it on for a more dramatic look. Get it!

This is a beautiful light shimmering pink. It's a warm pink though, not blue-based, just beautiful on green or hazel eyes, although I think it would very well with blue eyes too. I wear this alone most often with black liner and black mascara, but I also pair it with Satin Taupe sometimes for a nice neutral but not boring look. But my favorite way to use Jest is to pair it with a purple like Star Violet or Satelite Dreams.

This is my favorite eyeshadow. I use it everyday and it goes perfectly with my skin and eye color. Out of all my eye shadows, this is definitely the one I reach for the most

Jest. Frost finish. Naked Lunch's cooler brother. This is a frosty skin color with some pink. Great for all-over-lid. I usually pair it up with brown, gray or plum in the crease/outer V.
I actually went to buy Naked Lunch that day, but swatched both and was more impressed with Jest. It looked more pigmented and noticeable on my skin.

So so so pretty, I wear it all over my lid almost everyday with MAC Cork in the crease and lots of mascara. I prefer this over All That Glitters!

I hit pan today, and I've Never hit pan again- that means a lot I guess!
Jest -besides satin taupe- is my favorite eyeshadow ever. I didn't pay enough attention when I went to MAC -what can I say, dramatic shades are more eye catching!- so I probably wouldn't discover this gem if a good friend of mine didn't show it to me. I'm grateful she did.
Jest is phenomenal. Again, not eye-catching but oh- so- pretty! Light cool peachy- pink. Frost finish but not overly shiny in any way- just gorgeous sheen.
My go-to eye make up is jest all over the lid with some smudged brown eyeliner along the upper lash-line and on the waterline. Maybe with a bit haux on the crease and mascara. Compliments my pale cool complexion and green eyes like no other in a classy and understated way. Suitable for every occasion, it's what ''all that glitters'' can be for warm-toned ladies. (ATG doesn't really suit me unfortunately...)
Blends like a dream, last ages, makes a wonderful highlighter for purple or taupe smokey eyes, I'll never be without it, it's time for MAC shopping, lalala...!

Bought this to use as a brow highlight when I first got into MAC. Was way too cool toned and frosty for my liking. (NC44 for reference)

SA/MUA at MAC recommended this to me for an all over lid shadow.
It's a little too frosty for me but it is a nice colour. I don't gravitate towards it because it's so shimmery/frosty but it's a nice colour if you like frost.

So today I finally bought this lovely peachy-frosty color after buying Naked Lunch a few weeks ago which unfortunately dissapointed me a bit because it didn't seem to show up well on the lids ( maybe because it' s less frosty& more of a warm pinky-peach). And I can honestly tell this is my new favourite eyeshadow! It brings out the green in my eyes so it's very flattering. If your ok with the frosty undertone in this eyeshadow and looking for a noticeable peachy kind of color go buy this!

Colour: Light pink frost. Nice texture like all other "good ones" on the Mac eyeshadow lineup (some have a weird, dry or clumpy texture. It's bizarre). My only complaint is a personal preference colour-wise: I wanted a light pink/rose frost and this colour looked like Britney Spears bubble gum on my lids. Looks stupid on a chick in her 30s lol...

I returned it.

Oh, how I love you, Jest!! I got this when I went into MAC needing a look for my brother's wedding. She put this on the lid with soft brown in the crease and blackberry in the outer corner and to deepen the crease. This has become a go to look and I've found that Jest really is a perfect lid color for me and makes almost any shadow I want to wear in the crease look so much better. I mentioned in my Naked Lunch review-these two are VERY similar. But Naked Lunch is more pink and this is described as "icy peach" which I think is accurate. Naked Lunch used to be HG for me but this has replaced it. I don't have excessively wrinkly eyelids but I am...ahem....aging...so I"m a bit more picky these days about shimmer and frosts. Jest has perfect shimmer to it without emphasizing the wrinkles on the lid.It just looks nice and smooth, which I can't say these days for Naked Lunch (or others, I've tried...didn't like Shroom for the same reason). Another reviewer mentioned that this might be better for cool toned people than warm toned and I agree with that. I'm cool toned and this is perfect for me and I find that a lot of MAC's peachy shades work surprisingly well on me.
