This used to be a staple color for me until I went through my MAC phase and forgot about it. Well I recently pulled it out and was reminded of how much I love it. I have a brown skin tone and this gives me the perfect shimmer. Very natural but still with a little pop.
I think i may pull out all my bare escentuals colors again. I forgot about what subtle beauties that they are. I would buy Tan Lines again but I don't think I would have to. I've had mine for years and its still full. I highly recommend to tan and brown girls.
As far as price I cannot really speak to that because this came in a set that I purchased many years ago. They are a little pricey for me individually so I tend to look for sets

A gorgeous medium coppery bronze color that has more pink to it than some coppery colors I've tried. Beautiful shimmery texture and great performance. This is also part of the Nude Beach Collection, and all of the colors are just wonderful. This is no exception. Great for a crease color. I don't like to apply this one or any coppery color too close to my lid so I avoid that whole red eye / tired look. However, with a pink or neutral on the lid, such as the wonderful Skinny Dip on the lid, this is an amazing color, and not as strong/coppery as some others I've tried. I used wet with UDPP underneath, Skinny Dip on the lid/wash and a prep of BE Well Rested high up on the browbone directly underneath my eyebrows. Used Benefit's Tuxedo kohl liner and it looks wonderful, really brings out green-grey in my hazel-green eyes. Love!!!
I have really gotten used to using BE and mineral E/S and pigments so I have no complaints about the packaging. The sifter is great.

This is the best brown/brownzy color I have and looks great on my skin!
I love the way it applies. It lasted a very long time on a very hot day on very sweaty and oily eye lids!
I hate the packaging.. it's very easy to spill the product...Since it's pretty expensive, I'd hate to spill ANY product every time I apply or open it even!
However, I'd definitely will buy again

This is the prettiest bronzey-copper brown color that really reminds me of a summer tan...It is perfect with my NC27 skin, and actually shows up on me so beautifully...It's great for us warm-toned girls...I got a sample in a swap and fell in love instantly, but I don't want to run out so I really need to buy a full size one of these days...Lovely, and certainly an absolute fave along with True Gold! UPDATE: I got a full size jar and tried using this as an all-over lid wash...the shade is really pretty but I look like I've been coated in copper...it's just toooooooo metallic. I was so hoping this would work as a wash :-( So I'm bumping this down to 4 lippies...Still a nice color.

I got it in a swap, new and unopened from a wonderful swapper but unfortunately this color just doesn't work for me. I'm NW20 with dark brown eyes and this coral-bronze color made my eyes looked tired and old. It has great staying power and all but I bet it looks good only on people with darker skin tones.

Colour is gorgeous - peachy/coral/bronze type colour. Really highlights the eye area and gives a kind of 'fresh' appearence. lasting power good, one jar would last a lifetime so good value for money.

A favorite for summer, when, to pardon the hackneyed expression, I get as brown as a berry. I love the way this brightens the eye area.

I got some sample shadows in the 'beach' collection, and this was one of them. I love the other 3, but this one was just too coppery for me, bordering on orangey. Other than that, these shadows are great. I've heard that the new ones have the sifter top, which would be a must before I buy full size.

This is a great bronzy color! I like to wear it dry in the crease for daytime, and foil it (make it wet) on my lid for nighttime (more dramatic!). The packaging stinks (no sifter!), so just hold the pot on the vanity while unscrewing. I will repurchase this color!

Love this color! So pretty when I do a rusty lipstick color. I especailly love this color even more when I have a tan. But even when I am pale, gives a nice shimmer to the eyes.

Tan Lines is a pretty medium bronze shade. I'll occasionally reach for it as a crease shade with In the Buff, but it's a little too dark for me to wear much on my very fair skin.

Tan Lines is a stunning shimmery peachy bronze with gold glitter. Soft blendable and gorgeous as all glimmers are.
Slightly more golden than Radiant Rebecca, but I can barely tell the difference on the back of my hand. I wear it with Celestine, or Desire or Vanilla Sugar.

Tan Lines is the darkest color of the Beach Collection (also in the collection are Nude Beach, Bare Skin, and In the Buff). It's a caramelly color and looks great with black eyeliner along the lower lid. This is such a sexy neutral.

I got this because I bought The Beach Collection and this was part of the collection. While I love Nude Beach and Bare Skin, I can't say the same for In the Buff and Tan Lines; these colors just don't work for me. I'm not sure how that is either, because these are warm tones and I'm warm-toned, but these are *too* warm, if that makes sense. They just look wrong on me, but I think they might look really good on someone who had a tan or was a bit darker.

Love this bronzey/gold powder...I use it to line my eyes to make them pop, or as a bronzer on any area of my body.
On my eyes I also get a hint of rose...but so subtle it's not really an issue.
Patted on over a clear lipgloss, it gives an intense coppery lip...if I do this, then I always do a nude eye,to make it balance and stand out.

Tan Lines is part of BE's Beach Collection...a very nice kit perfect for summer IMHO!It is a beautiful summer tan(think rust) with tons of microfine gold shimmer. This color looks gorgeous in the crease, paired with Nude Beach or In the Buff(both part of the Beach Collection). It also looks great with Desire.Tan Lines also makes the most beautiful lip color and can also be used as a bronzer. A great all around SUMMER Shade!
