I received three small samples of this when I bought their electric derma brush cleaner, and have been using it sparingly every other night. After about ten days, I can tell you my face looks brighter, there is less scarring and redness, and new small pimples have shrunk overnight instead of flared up to cystic acne. Im impressed! While I hate the price, I will purchase the full size bottle when I run out because this product really has delivered.

This is HG stuff!! I bought this after hearing it mentioned time and time again by beauty editors and on forums. I have suffered from post-acne scarring and pigmentation for the last few years. I think it's been a combination of picking at spots and not wearing sun block as often as I should have. My skin was always spotless as a teen, but once I hit my early 20's my skin went haywire and I think I over-compensated with the products I was using.
I have been using Even Skintone serum everynight for the last month and it has honestly transformed my skin! Current spots cleared up quicker than ever and it's already fading my scars and pigmentation. Of course they are still there, but they have lightened dramatically to the point where I am venturing out without foundation. Funny thing is, is that people have been commenting that I look more tanned and that my skin is clearer. I have been using sun block religiously everyday as well.
I purchased the regular strength rather than the sensitive (even though my skin can be quite sensitive to products) and although it can tingle a bit when I first started using it, it isn't painful and doesn't sting at all. I started using it just 3 times a week for the first week but now use it nightly after cleansing, spritz of facial toner and couple of drops of the Even Skintone Serum and then finish with a light moisturiser a few minutes after the serum has absorbed.

I have had one bottle of ESS which I bought about two years ago on a skin specialists recommendation. This is a potent formula that really shouldn't be used without the advise of a specialist but the pharmacy strength blend is 50% potency and is actually a good place to start. This should only be used in small doses and definitely not nightly at the start as it is likely to irritate. To be honest, I have very sensitive skin so I only use it once a week, a few drops is all I need and that is why the bottle has lasted so long. Does it work? Absolutely! Does it work miracles immediately? Of course not! You have to be patient! My skin used to be acne prone and I still get spots but my skin tone is so much more even and soft and I barely have an acne scar left. I really believe in Ultraceuticals but I believe those of us with sensitive skin need to listen to our skin more and remember that less is more. I also use the Ultraceuticals Ultra C Sheer cream but again, only about weekly. I also use a clarisonic...again, weekly. Too much of anything irritates my skin but with a bit of care and simple or high quality skin care I now have beautiful glowing skin that I can be proud of! I am so confident now that I even like my skin without foundation. Keep in mind that these products contain vitamin c that oxidizes and therefore discolours and loses its potency over time thats why it comes in such small packages because it has a used by date that should be stuck to.

I am African American with oily, Acne Proned skin that leaves behind hyper-pigmentation. I have to say, that this in conjunction with my skin care routine has DEFINITELY smoothed out my skin. I get compliments all the time about my skin, how even toned my face is, how it's so healthy looking and people have no idea that i have to work at this to keep it looking this good. This products helps tremendously.

At night, after I use my foaming face wash (2% salicylic acid) I pat dry and after my toner (boots organic rose water toner) I put a couple of drops of this on my neck and face. Afterwards, I follow with a benzoyl peroxide and a moisturizer. Sounds like a lot, I know, but it really works for me. I can wear makeup, or not wear makeup...this stuff is THAT good. Trust me, i've had acne....cycstic, white heads..all of that, and I would tell you if this product sucks. It cost a lot, but it's worth it!

I've used a bottle and a bit of this an it's amazing - unfortunately a couple of weeks into my second bottle the little rubber lid on the top of the dropper somehow came off and I ended up with $50 of product spilled through my makeup bag - not impressed. Love the product, but the packaging needs work.

I should have got around to reviewing this product much sooner! I don't rave about products easily but I have to rave about this because it has (quite literally) changed my skin completely.
So I have quite oily skin and pores that block extremely easily, and cause tiny little skin coloured bumps around my face.
I can't count how many different products I tried to help clear my skin.
I know this product isn't specifically marketed for clearing congestion, but it works wonders for it. It also helps heal acne scarring, and leaves your skintone more even (you may think that is obvious but think how many products just don't deliver what they promise to).
This serum has given me so much more confidence.
If you have skin like mine, definitely recommend! Stick with it for a bit and I promise you will notice a difference.

This is a great product. It is very $$$ [$80!!!] so I buy it off ebay for about half the price. Given my uneven skintone and acne scarring, I was looking for a product to alleviate this. I think that my rosehip oil has done a better job than this, but I have definately noticed that I dont break out as often, which I think is due to this product. My skin texture has also improved since using this, it is much smoother than before. I use this nightly before I use my Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum: if I didnt use something over the top, it would dry my skin out. Quickly absorbed, I like what it does in keeping my skin in check. If you can pick it up for a cheaper price than retail, I would definately recommend it

i work in the cosmetis industry and have tried many skin tone correctors but this is by far the best if you have scarred/pigmented or an acne prone/combination skin type.
it removes scarring and annoying pimples that tend to hang around.
does not really offer hydration, but as a serum , hydration is really not its job. you will need a moisturiser over the top of it if you have dehydrated skin.
so you don't need much product ( a little bit goes a long way on your face) and because it is such an active product, you only really need to use it every second night (i advise using it before bed). so in these regards, it is fairly economical, however, expensive when you purchase it initially.
this is product is worth a try - it sorted out my skin :)

im on my 3rd bottle of this product. I love love it....
It controlled my break out and the oil production, i use it in conjunction with ultra C sheer facial cream and Ultra A facial cream. Without this product, i wont have good skin. I used to breakout so badly all over my face.

Even skin tone serum help with my acne scarring, it fades really quick, even out my blotchy skin really well.
although its its quite pricey AUD $85, but i think it worth every penny cause its last for quite long time too.

This literally left my skin glowing! It lightly exfoliates too, I think, so skin was feeling quite smooth after about 2 weeks use. Tingled, but didn't irritate my sensitive skin on my cheeks.

Only put off by the price, about AUD$70 :( this was a freebie so I wouldn't have tried it out otherwise.

well i've been using this for at least a week
and at first it made my skin red then it went to its normal colour and it peels alots

anyway
i have lots of hyperpigmentation and i haven't seen it fading it dramatically well im still waiting for the results to happen

Its a miracle serum, I have been using it for about 3 weeks and my skin has never felt better. Its have combination skin with extremely oily T zone and occassional breakouts. My skin now feels less oily and my complexion has really brightened up.

I'm on my second bottle of this stuff and I just love it. It makes my skin look refreshed and glowing. While it hasn't totally cleared it up, it has helped even the tone of my skin up. Pimples don't seem to flare up as often either. Its very hard to describe what exactly it has done to my skin but it does look and feel healthier and that makes it well worth the money.

I heard a few good things about Ultraceuticals so decided to give this a try to help with my slight uneven skin tone and hormonal breakouts. I bought the little 25ml bottle for approx AUD70 which isn't cheap so I was expecting big results from this. Initially the smell kind of put me off, but I would definitely prefer a product that actually worked over something that smelt nice but didn't.

Just squeeze the dropper and let a few drops onto your fingers and then gently pat and rub onto clean skin. It tingled for a bit but then again what do you expect from an AHA product?

I generally get break outs along my chin, nose and forehead around THAT time of the month, but found that i didn't. And recently I have been getting compliments on my skin about how smooth it is!! Ive never really gotten that before!

Apart from the hefty price tag i will definitely buy this again

I love what this serum does to my skin! I have been using it every second night now for over a month and my skin is so much more refined and polished....

I ocassionally break out but told my beauty therapist i was after that 'buffed' look and she gave me samples of this...It is fantastic...

The eye dropper is slightly annoying and i prefer the applicator used in the samples but this product WORKS and so i will definately repurchase!

I find this product quite useless on my skin. I don't see any visible effect at all. I still give it three lippies for the lightweight texture and the fact that it's scentless. No adverse effect on me but not positive results either.

i have been using this product for a week now at nights only and i think its great i ahve acne prone skin thats on the dry side its really helped to dry out all the congestion can't wait to see what my skin looks like in a month

I've used this for about 3 months now, and have noticed slight fading of prominent hormonal pigmentation on my cheeks and forehead. However, other benefits that I am even happier about are a reduction in oiliness, smoothing of skin texture (particularly around my previously lumpy chin), faster healing of pimples, and fewer pimples overall. I will buy it again for all these reasons. It loses a lippy for not fading the brown marks fast enough, but with all the other good points I feel I can't really complain!
