If you love reds, you will probably love Armani's Matte Silk line. There are so many rich warm and cool toned reds; there is a color bound to please most red lipstick lovers. I just have to accept the fact that most reds look terrible on me, especially warm toned reds. On my pink toned toned, very fair PPP skin (UD Apparition, Becca Porcelain), this just does not work. A deep, brick red w/ lots of brown to it, this can be worn during the day or evening. It looks better on me w/ any number of glosses, but that defeats the purpose of a MATTE lipstick. I think this color would look great on warmer toned ladies. These lipsticks are very creamy and moisturizing, with great pigmentation. The matte silk line will be discontinued in a few months, so buy them while you can!

This must be one of the best formulas around. Richly pigmented and the colour stays put for hours. I highly recommend matte silk #9 for ladies who are MMM's like myself (LSF 5.5). Beautiful red, so classy and wearable day or night.

This is a subtle brown red color. As with all of the Armani lipsticks, it has amazing texture, but I don't think I'll repurchase this. It was just an 'okay' color, nothing that I would go out of my way to purchase again. It does look nice though with a clear gloss on top of it.

For my coloring (pale yellow-based), this lippie may be the most perfect color I've ever seen in a lipstick. It's a subtle reddish-mauve-berry color that is just lovely. (Kind of like a deeper matte version of NARS Gipsy). It is very smooth and not too drying for a matte lipstick, although still a touch drying. And as an added bonus it's rather long-lasting too.
