This soap was how I got introduced to LUSH many years ago. Sigh, so nostalgic.
I remember being interested in the smell and getting really excited to try it out in the bath. To my disappointment, I found it was nothing spectacular, it lathered ok but it was drying like any other ol' house soap. With nothing unique about it to make it stand out from other soaps, I would not repurchase.

I got this as a sample with a LUSH order and I am not impressed. To me, it smells like soap - I don't get any floral scent or even a "clean" scent, definitely no chocolate. It smells very light and very plain....just...soapy. It is a fairly hard bar and has some lasting power, which is a plus. It has a nice creamy lather, but doesn't seem to do anything extraordinary as far a moisturizing goes.It is a translucent white color. A generic soap that is not worth the price.

My skin smelled nothing like Chocolate. I think this soap is pretty bland. Defintley not one of the best out there.

This soap is so unremarkable, I literally have nothing to say. The scent is a completely generic glycerin soap smell. My sample melted after only 3 showers. It made my skin feel like it does after I use the soap that is in hotels--that weird dry feeling.

I LOVE THIS SOAP!
This smells absolutely gorgeous and though subtle does linger. I've been using it for ages and it has never tried out my hands like other soaps can.
I think that it can get a little overlooked a times but I can see why its stayed for so long. If it ever gets discontinued I think I may cry

nothing really special on this soap. i bought two milky bar soap. i'll be giving one to my aunt and one for me. when i tried it in the shower, i decided not to give the other one to my aunt coz she might laugh at me. just like an ordinary soap we could get in grocery. smells like SOAP but very pricey. waste of money.

This was my first lush soap. Smelled nice and milky. I remember being so happy I found a lush store :P A nice clean scent. Ideal if you don't want too much scent/sweetness/spicyness etc in your shower.

I have to agree that this is a disappointing Lush product. I spent ages humming and hahing over all the soaps, and was sold on its description - I couldn't smell much in the shop, but then there are so many overwhelming smells. It does just smell like soap! The texture and cleaning power are fine, but when you go to Lush, you want a special fragrance. It has grown on me as I use it, but I much prefer Extra virgin olive oil and the cherry tree blossom one. Am surprised that Lush has been doing this soap for so long!

Smells like soap, that's it! Nothing special in this one. This is propably the only LUSH product, that doesn't have a strong smell. A boring product.

It's a very clean scent, much like a spring blossom. It does not have an sickening heavy perfume which is what's nice about it. It's called milky bar not because it smells like milk but because the bar is a semi=transparent off white color. I have bought this bar many times and will continue to do so. Also have a new favorite: Snowcake.

Great lather, makes my skin feel soft too. This is a nice soap for those who don't want anything "too strong". You know, those boring folks who are always complaining that scents are too overpowering, etc. Hey, I LIKE my scents to be overpowering, that's why I love LUSH!! However, this one is a nice, 'safe' soap. This is the one to give someone who is nice, safe and dare I say, a bit unadventurous. Save the good stuff for yourself and your pals who appreciate the strong stuff!! I'm giving it 3 lippies, because although it's not my style, it IS a sweet smelling, lathery lump of goodness. Just not bold enough for me ;) If you like the sweet stuff, steer for Honey I Washed The Kids

I really, really love this soap! It has the softest, nicest, friendliest scent ever. It is sweet but in a soft and friendly way, in the shower I can smell a hint of chocolateand it just makes me want to eat it.
It lathers up nicely and I'm just in love with this soap and will definitely buy it again!

I was not at all impressed with Milky Bar soap. This smelled weaker even than its LUSH counterpart, Hot Milk bubble bar. Milky Bar smells just like ordinary soap with the slightest hint of florals. The scent does linger on my skin but all I can smell after using this soap is a clean scent and nothing more. When I do pair it with Hot Milk bubble bar, the floral undertones get a bit stronger but still not worth the hype. It is not moisturizing but is not drying either. A very ordinary soap that I will not be repurchasing.

The Michigan J. Frog of soaps. When this soap is dry, it's got a wonderful, sweet, milky scent... but it completely disappears the moment you take it into the shower. Wash with it and it just smells like plain old soap. Wait a few hours for the soap to dry, and there's that milky fragrance again, and you think, "Oh, well, I'll just try again, it smells so great"... and, nope. Plain old soap again. Milky Bar, you're such a tease, and if you keep leading me on just to let me down again and again, we may have to end our relationship. (Incidentally, this is the same problem I've had with the Hot Milk Bubble Bar.)

Thouroughly the silmotaneously most expensive and most uninspring soap I've even bought. Terribly boring...really trust me I'm a big LUSH fan...I'd rather a $9.00 bar of Dove than this.

oh the disappointment. Sounded so nice. I imagined something soothing, milky,vanilla-ish perhaps. But no. It was like the cheapest soap you can get - moisture-stripping, powdery/floral cheap scent, mushy. What a waste of money!

Quite a pleasant smelling soap. Quite florally and laundry type smelling. Can be over powering tho but I enjoy it.

:BLECH!: smells of sour milk mixed with laundry detergent to me. the least favorite of all LUSH soaps I've tried so far.
