** Not Tested On Animals **
Skin type: normal to dry but acne prone.
Desperately seeking a new HG foundation since I found out MAC test on animals after being bought out by Estee Lauder. For reference, I am MAC NC25 / NC30 - see my notepad for my colour matches to other brands.
Tests on animals? NO
PREPARATION: As my skin is quite dry, I start with a facial oil (my own blend) mixed with fragrance-free moisturiser applied to damp skin, followed by primer.
CONSISTENCY: Kind of thick but the effect is actually very sheer. Applied 3 layers with a foundation brush & still only achieved light - medium coverage.
QUALITY: Difficult to blend, it went on a little patchy. I've tried 3 Innoxa foundations so far & the colours have been too orange/pink/red for my medium olive skin. I used Bisque which was a little dark but Buttermilk was too pale.
RE-PURCHASE? Probably not : ( I *so* wanted to like Innoxa but so far the foundations have been a bit of a let down.
PROS: Cruelty-free. Minimises appearance of crows feet! Amazing! Heavier make up tends to emphasise it.
CONS: The colour range is limited & seems to best suit cool skin tones. All the foundations contain parabens.

i have a lot of trouble buying foundation because i have very fair skin with pink undertones. as i can't afford to buy designer foundation, i have to stick with what i can get from the pharmacy or the shops. most of the companies stocked there just don't cater for pale skin. usually there is only one light colour and it is almost always yellow toned. even the ones that look like they might be okay end up looking orange by the end of the day and that just isn't good enough. not all of us want to look like oompa loompas!
in addition to this, i often get random dry patches on my skin because it is quite sensitive and i find that most foundations seem to cake and go crusty on these patches as well as in the fine lines under my eyes and around my mouth. (young people have fine lines too!)
SO. where does that leave this foundation? well, i have been searching and my sister's friend recommended this product. my sister didn't even think she wore foundation! and now i don't look like i am either. although it leaves your skin looking quite dewy and natural, it has surprisingly good coverage! i was concerned that it would be more like a tinted moisturiser than a foundation, but it's not.
it doesn't sit in my dry patches or fine lines and it doesn't end up looking orange by the end of the day. i actually wore it to a concert the other night and it stayed on even though i was sweating like crazy!
unfortunately, the sales assistant told me that the "ivory" was pink toned. it's not. however, it still looks better than most i've tried. this light colour is only sold in the spf 30+ version, but that's fine with me!
it's also a bit sticky. i don't know whether that's because it has sunscreen in it, or because it has a dewy finish, but i can't say i like it. it's sticky when you put it on and it stays sticky throughout the day. hardly "satin" in my book, but i suppose because it stays moist that's why it doesn't dry into my dry patches and fine lines. hmmm.
although it's not the cheapest foundation, $30 isn't too bad at all for something that has good coverage, alright colour and sits on my skin well throughout the day. maybe when i'm a bit richer i can try some of the designer foundations to get a better colour match and consistency. but for now, hopefully, this will do!
UPDATE:
i don't think i will actually buy this again. i find that it just doesn't set enough for me. if you touch your face it is sticky and foundation comes off on your hand (although, it doesn't actually come off your face which is a bit odd). it does look nice and dewy and covers blemishes really well and so on, and i suppose it needs to stay moist in order to stay dewy and prevent your skin looking dry and such, but i don't know...i'd just prefer something that maybe was a bit pinker and set a bit better. especially if i'm going to get intimate with someone - that could be disastrous! i guess i'll just have to go back on the hunt. will i ever find the perfect foundation??? D:

Such a nice light foundation that has a surprising amount of coverage for such a light finish - especially correcting red blotchy skin.
Some times it doesn't set well but I think this has to do with the amount of moisturiser I have applied before hand and the amount of foundation I apply, because if I build up the layers it is fine.
Overall great foundation lasts all day with a really nice finish, doesn't oxidize and gives all day coverage without feeling like your face is covered.

A wonderful product! Cheap but fantastic!!!! I have terrible sensitive skin and prone to breakouts and this product does not irritate my skin at all. It has the most natural coverage out of every foundation I have used - even the extremely expensive ones! Made my skin look flawless even tho it naturally certainly isn't. Looks so natural on but somehow manages to cover all the imperfections. I get the one with SPF in it which is great. And this product DOES NOT TEST ON ANIMALS. Please please please people choose products that are free of animal testing...not sure of which companies do or don't..check out the PETA website! But back to the foundation....it give it A+++++++. Such an affordable product with amazing results....give it a try!

I just have to add a few comments on this product, because recently, whether out of hormones, changing weather or sheer stubbornness, my skin's gone a little bonkers and my usual tinted moisturisers just don't give enough coverage and some mornings I don't have time for concealer. This is super easy to blend, very fast, and sheer enough to not look cake-like, and to let my skin breathe. This doesn't break me out, covers the redness and most of the smaller blemishes and doubles up very well as a quick concealer if I dot it on and blend down. Doesn't oxidise and lasts beautifully. Very nice, basic product that I wouldn't want to be without.

Great basic foundation. Perfect colour match for my fair, yellow toned skin. Applies non-greasy and sets quickly, has a creamy texture. Blends easily and best with a sponge. Lasts almost all day and looks very natural on the skin.
I got the one with 30+ sunscreen too, an added bonus for me!

I really like this foundation. It gives a good amount of coverage for day and more can be applied for night without looking "made up". It gives a particularly flawless finish if applied with a sponge rather than fingers. I will buy this product again.

I really loved this product. It went on smooth, gave me a natural all over coverage, and was really great to blend. Was easy to add more foundation to different areas without looking cakey. My skin was fine with this foundation also.
The packaging was great, squeeze style, and I used to also cut it open at the end and you could get every bit out.
The only reason I stopped using this foundation was because it never set properly, and would easily come off. I also got shiny areas near my nose and forehead towards the end of the day.
I will keep this for when I go out at night. For long all-day applications, I just found it didn't have the staying power I needed.
Not tested on animals also, and had no smell.
