This is creamy, smooth, and intensely pigmented. However it's not really ideal for me because I only use pencil eyeliner to tightline my upper lid. I like to keep the waterline clean (or line it with white pencil) because I have small eyes, and eyeliner on the bottom part of my eye just closes them in and makes them look even smaller. This is so creamy that it transfers to my water line and sometimes even smudges below it. It's not raccoon eyes or anything, but it still bothers me. I don't plan on repurchasing but I do plan on using it up because I can just run a q-tip over my waterline to clean up any smudging. This would be great for smoky eyes though!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this eyeliner (Color Brilliance Milani pencil in Black)! Texture goes on soft, smooth, and color turn out is one of the blackest liners I have. It is certainly not meant to have a clean finish (like liquid eyeliner) unless you go over it with a matte black eye shadow for lining (such as MAC Carbon eyeshadow), BUT works BEST for smudging (try it with a MAC 219 brush) for that perfect smokey eye look. I would definitely buy this again!!

It goes on softly, but rather useless, I think. I use it sometimes, but it fades really easily.

I REEEAALLLY wanted to like this product. I was so excited to find a simple, cheap black eyeliner that went on sooo smoothly! My excitement was short lived after wearing it for less than an hour and finding, to my horror, that I had halloweenish looking "black eyes". I tried it on more than one occasion, even modifying the way I wear it, pinching my bottom lashes to make sure there was no residue, and being careful to put my hands nowhere near my face. All in vain though. Every time I ended up with HUGE black rings around my eyes. My NYC and Wet n Wild liners are better than this.

Smooth application with true colors. It would be perfect if it didn't smudge &fade. Oh well. It's so cheap, I hardly mind.

I have two of these pencils -- Glamour Green and Mediterranean Blue. Both have excellent color pay off and are very creamy and smooth (I've had eyeliners crumble on me before). I like that they have a little cap on them to keep them clean and undamaged. The staying power is decent alone, but with a base it stays longer. Also if you put eyeshadow on top it stays all day without smudging.

I bought this in Antique Green and love it, a medium green with lovely shimmer that doesn't scream disco diva. Subtle enough to use for daytime but glitzy enough to add a bit of punch to night time eye makeup. Creamy, easy to apply, moderately long lasting, and certainly as good in quality as something like Covergirl or Maybelline.

Love this eyeliner. It goes on smooth, doesn't crease or smudge. Much better than some of the expensive department store brands I have used over the years.

i love this eyeliner! it is so inexpensive, and thats what attracted me. i was looking for something cheap tp replace my lancome black eyeliner, and i found it! i like this pencil even more than my lancome! it lasts all day, is very soft, and can be smudged on the upper lid for a very smokey sexy look! i just really love this eyeliner!

I'm looking for an eyeliner to replace the discontinued Jordana Color X-tend. This definitely isn't it. I got black-brown, which is a wonderfully pigmented almost-black. However, the pencil tugs at my eyelids some. It's not as bad as some other d/s brands, but it's more tugging than I want on the so-fragile skin around the eyes. I also find it smudging toward mid-afternoon in the summer heat.

My favorite ds pencils. I have these in several colors. All of them (except the white one, which is just sooo much harder than the others), are very soft and go on easily with no pulling at all. They actually last most of the day on my very greasy eyelids. I use the black and black/brown almost daily to line the inside of my upper lid (makes my lashes look thicker) and they're the only pencil besides MAC that goes on smoothly and evenly with no tugging at all. Doesn't last as long as MAC, but it's about 1/10th the price and I can pick them up anywhere instead of hitting Nordy's (where I spend waaaayyyy too much $$ whenever I walk through the door). Definitely the best pencils out there for the price.

after all the high reviews on this, i decided to purchase at walgreens. the price is dirt cheap and the packaging was cute. i got this in black and it goes on beautifully. however, it ended up smudging and creasing on my lid. i have naturally oily skin, so that may have been a reason. overall, not a bad product, but i will stick to my trusty wet n wild, for my eyeliner :)

Quality-wise, it's about as good as Prestige, Jordana or any other of the better DG eyeliners. It isn't as pigmented or creamy as a high-end pencil (MAC, Laura Mercier, etc.) and doesn't draw nearly as smoothly but it's fine if you don't mind warming up the tip before applying and going over the line a few times. I have this in "Cocoa", and it's the closest low-end approximation of MAC's "Teddy" eye kohl that I've ever seen (thus, it's a slightly shimmery, warm, bronzey tobacco brown with a tiny hint of copper/auburn in it). Very inexpensive and good if you don't feel like shelling out the $14 for Teddy.

milani was 50% off so i picked up two of these for $2, in *antique green* and *golden eye*. the first is a shimmery olive green with just a touch of gold, and the latter is a shimmery yellow gold that looks fabulous with brown eyes. i like to dull the points of the eyeliner so i can draw the line in a bit smudgier, and the packaging is your basic pencil form. they do stay on all day, and for the price was definitely a good buy. not as good as my prestige waterproof liners (HG!) but still very good.

I tried Miliani eyeliner due to the lack of funds to get a high end liner. I'm so glad I did, cuz this stuff is great. Goes on smooth and last all day. I love it and of course the price is fab also, $2.50.

I don't wear eyeliner very often, but I really like this product. I have it in Antique Green, which, as others have said, is a lovely khaki green, and has a touch of gold-ish shimmer. The color is just perfect. I had been searching for a nice, subtle green eyeliner that wasn't washed-out seafoam (blech) or bright emerald (pretty, but not "me"), and this fit the bill. It applies smoothly, lasts for hours, and washes off easily. Overall, a great product for a great price.

I have two of the Milani Eye Liner Pencils, one is a basic black and the other is a sea blue. They are great quality liners for the price. They apply soft and glide right on. I have not had any problems with them smudging or smearing on my lids. I bought these based on a friend's rec and I'm so glad that I did!!
