Though this product does separate and lengthen my lashes, it also caused many of them to fall out when washing it off! I would not recommend this product. It isn't worth it.

have been using this for years...one of the best products i have ever used...my HG product for lashes and brows!!!
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium Hair: Blond Eyes: Grey
I seriously love this.
I've had this since ...um I dont even remember.
Six months atleast and theres still some in the bottle (I use this everyday)
This makes my eyebrows look thinner, more perfect. Cause if I dont use this they tend to get shaggy. It also makes them darker.
And when I dont feel like using mascara, I put this on my lashes and it makes them longer, darker, thicker, without showing I have anything on. I bought another bottle and I'm gonna use that one when my current one is empty. Recommend this to everyone!
Dont put it over your mascara, it will make the gel in the bottle a sort of brownish-black color... But it still works the same.

I bought this for my brows but it doesn't work at all. Does not hold nor last. I have to try another brand. I would definitely never recommend it.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brown, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Brown
I like the way this product can make a slight difference on my eyes if I wanted to define or brush and curl my lashes a bit without using mascara. I also love using it to brush/tame my brows but I hate how it doesn't dry easily and appears as if I put some kind of oil on my brows.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Sensitive, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Red, Straight, Fine Eyes: Brown
I use it to fix my eyebrows and it is good for that. I never used it for my lashes. The only con I can see is it got clumpy after a while, turned in to heavier and creamier sticky gel. I believe it is because everytime I use it the brush picks some foundation, powder, eyeshadow etc. and it ruins the formula of the product. I prefer to use hair spray to fix my eye brows. Works better.

Does nothing. No, wait, that's not true. It makes my lashes straight after I curl them. Vaseline works better if you want to make your lashes glossy.

This product is horrible as a mascara. It's decent as a brow gel but the hold is seriously lacking. The applicator brush does NOT define or seperate my lashes at all. There is no shape to it whatsoever. The gel is heavy and weighs down my lashes so the overall effect looks like wet clumped together lashes. I wish I had invested my money in something more worthwhile. I used to have a clear mascara from sephora and it was awesome.
How did this even pass quality control at the body shop? This product is terrible.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Dry, Fair Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
I think the Body Shop changed its formula because this stuff used to work well, but now it has absolutely no hold whatsoever. I wish I had read these reviews before I bought it! I definitely would not repurchase.

I don't need it on my lashes, so I've only used it for my brows. It doesn't hold my thick brows in place for very long, but I can see that it does make a difference. So I'll finish the tube I've got, but I'm already on the lookout for a stronger gel or a good clear mascara.

I decided to buy a clear mascara for everyday use, but i don't know other brands that sells it. I only can afford drugstore brand until The Bodyshop, nothing beyond. Then i read my Cosmopolitan (Malaysia's) and they recommend a clear mascara from the Bodyshop that is the Brow and Lash Gel.
So I ask for a brow gel in the Bodyshop store, thinking it more as clear mascara than a brow gel...but whatever. the sales assistant told me that this can be use as both for brow and lash. and for lash can be wear on its own or as base coat for the mascara.
I think that is a bonus , now I can also get a well groom brow other than more defined lashes. Ok, this is just a lash gel, so i don't expect it to lengthen and thickes my lashes like any other mascara because it practically just gel. but really i love the idea... probably if i really want to pump up my lashes, in the waaayyyy future i might thinking of buying a black mascara, but just for special occasion. But for everyday use, this is enough. It does give an effect to your lashes makes it more defined and obvious, it doesn't weigh down your lashes like some other mascara do. i don't know about people with fair lashes, because mine is black. i am satisfied with it.
But as a brow gel, it isn't the best , it cannot hold it for long but still you look more groomed. I don't really it because it is quite watery and takes longer time dry on your brow and it can get into your eyes and sting a bit, but nothing biggie, so i just take off 1 lippie...because I still like it, good enough for everyday use, would repurchase it.

Why does anyone buy this or recommend it? Bought it on the basis of a rave review in a magazine (by the editor, so no doubt a vested interest). Was looking for something to make my lashes thicker and, above all, glossier when I wasn't wearing mascara. I have dark lashes and almost never wear mascara. This stuff was useless.
No, it was worse than useless. If it had just done nothing, then it would have been useless. In fact it promptly unculed my curled lashes and left them limp. No thickening. Absolutely no gloss. No nothing. Just a good lash straighener! Total rubbish. I'm quite cross about it. Save your money.
(Tip. Maybe it is obvious, but a quick dab of clear lip gloss does exactly what I want for my lashes. I curl them - shiseido curler is great - then a tiny amount of clear lip gloss. Beautiful lashes. Cheap and easy)

This is a pretty average brow gel, it gives light to medium hold, definitely not enough for the well groomed look i'm after. Will not repurchase

This just doesn't cut it for holding my brows in place - insufficient hold.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
I agree that this product is actually meant for using on the brows more than the lashes. Holds my brows in place without feeling stiff or wet ( I have tried Bloom's Clear Brow Gel, and I think this is better). I have very long, dense eyebrows that can get out of control easily, which means I use this practically everyday, despite getting my bushy brows threaded every 2 weeks. This definitely WORKS!!! I'm on my 3rd tube already. I will continue to purchase this. It's not dirt cheap but Body Shop products are never dirt cheap in Malaysia anyway.

This product made my lashes look (just) a little thicker and darker. does not hold curls well too. haven't tried it on my brows, so i can't comment on that. overall, it's just an OK product. i'm sure that there're better options out there.

I use this as a clear mascara, not a brow gel. It is VERY subtle, just adds shine and a really small amount of thickness to already dark lashes. Great if you are going for the totally natural, no makeup look.

First I need to tell you that I only use this on my brows,to set the brow pencil. And it works great!Someone said it's sticky,I strongly believe not.It has the most desirable texture to keep your brows in shape. You know how annoying it is when your hair touches your eyebrows and they go down-shapeless.I stocked up as it's on sale now here. And I'm going to repurchase for my whole life I suppose.I don't think I will try it on my lashes though because the brush seems really thin and I don't fully get why I should use clear mascara in the first place.I think the only reason this is marketed under the name 'brow and lash gel' is to sell it more.I believe this product is actually created for brows and let me tell you again this stuff WORKS GREAT!

I got this mainly to add mac's pigments to it, to make different colored mascaras. So far, I've added Rose pigment, deep blue-green, deep purple and green-brown pigments. Doesn't seem to curl, nor thicken lashes very well.

It did absolutely nothing on lengthening or whatever. It claimed to naturally lengthens, darkens and all that. This product is a waste. It clumps. But as a natural look, this is for you. However, there are better clear mascara out there. I like it on my eyebrows though. It looks neat when applied.
