I HATE this product. What a waste of money, twice! The nozzle plugs up and will NOT unplug for the life of you, and it does so rather quickly too, after a few uses. Foolishly I bought the thing again because I hadn't had a chance to see how I liked it, and it did the same thing to me. The smell is wonderful, but if I can't get it out of the can and onto my hair, what's the point? When I did get to use it, it did a great job making my hair piece-y without looking greasy, but even then, it sprayed ALL OVER THE PLACE. This product could be nice, but the horrible packaging kills it. Why not offer this in a tub instead? Don't waste your money.

Hahahahaha! Two things to keep in mind:

1) Mind where you stand when you use this - my bathroom floor is super-slippery after using this... might be better to spray into your hands first....
2) CHECK YOUR NOSE after use.... I looked in the mirror and noticed that all these little nose hairs up my schnozz had turned white with wax - HAHAHA I laughed my ass off

Great stuff for superfine layered cuts :)

I have mixed feelings on this. I love the smell, and if used in moderation, it really defined my layers and made my hair smoother. Unfortunately, since it's in an aeresol can, the nozzle (or whatever you call it) got plugged up, and I couldn't seem to fix it, so I bought another. The same thing happened. I'm not sure whether I'll ever buy it again.

I totally love this! Definately gives my layers a bit of definition and volume. I only used a little bit under my regular hairspray but that's all i wanted.

I really like what this product did for my hair but I just can't get past the smell. It never goes away either. When I got in my car with my kids, my son said "wow, our car has that new car smell again", the car is 6 months old, so it wasn't the car, it was my hair.

I'm not crazy about the smell, but I don't think it's bad either. The hold isn't strong enough for me, but I use it under my hairspray to add texture.

This stuff stinks. I can't stand the sweet nauseating smell. It also makes my hair dull with wax built up. Yuck

Awesome drugstore find! I am always in search of the perfect -product to define and separate my wispy, layered, flippy ends. This has a decadent coconut-y smell, and is not greasy or sticky. I spray this between my layers and fluff with my fingers or separate with a pick before using hairspray. It even feels conditioning and adds a nice shine. I like this even better than Got 2 Be Playful Creme Pomade, and will most definitely repurchase.

Update: Going back to Got 2 Be Playful Creme Pomade...I didn't notice flaking the first time I tried this b/c I only used it on my ends, but today I used it on my side-swept bangs, and it flaked so bad it looks like I have dandruff. = (

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! Works best with layered haircuts. I initially bought it when I had a very shaggy, almost chin length cut. I've used it with shoulder length (and longer) styles as well as my current style (super short. Use it sparingly until you have the hang of it.

This did NOTHING for my hair. Maybe some crunchyness, but absolutely no piecing or whatever. Cheap though, and great packaging. Can' judge a spray-on pomade my its cover.

This is the first ever hair styling product I have ever bought for myself, so I can't really compare it to others. I do really enjoy the coconut/guava scent; it's so tropical! I find that it's better to spray it onto my palms and rub them together before applying to the hair. I really like the piecey look right now, since I cut my hair to a medium length, (it's kind of a punk/rock style, if you know what I mean). The hold is pretty good, and I find that it does last throughout the day, with mid-day "refreshing" with just a bit of water. I love the fact that it feels like nothing in your hair. Once my pal used Sebastian Xtah on my hair and it felt like a helmet, which was pretty weird.

The nossel got clogged and I couldn't use this. I exchanged it for a new bottle, but after the first few times, it got clogged again. When I did get product out, it didn't do much of anything. Awful packaging and just as bad product. Will definitely not repurchse.

Now here's a neat little product, a handy spray wax in a cute purple can. Unfortunately this left my medium length shag looking greasy. However, I'd buy this again if I had shorter hair. This is great replacement for the potted waxes. Roughed Up smells good but it is strong! It left my head smelling like a tropical fruit Jolly Ranger!

I thought this was not great, but not bad. It did give my hair texture, and smelled great. BUt the wax does not always spray out of the aerosol and the texture does not last forever. I wasn't really dissapointed, but I wasnt amazed either. (cool purple metal can though =)

I doubt I would have tried this if I hadn't read such positive reviews on MUA. Yes, the cloyingly sweet synthetic coconut smell could be a bit much for some, but overall this is a very nice product for the price. It feels very light on and separates and texturizes my layers as promised, without the heavy, waxy or greasy sensation I have found with other products. Not a miracle product but it seems comparable to the higher end waxes and probably better than quite a few of them.

I love this stuff. It's a very light spray wax. Makes hair piecy and textured with being greasy, plus it smells delicious.

the smell is what knocked off a lippy-plasticy-coconut...but i can get past that. this works wonders at giving texture to my hair. i can flip out the ends and they stay without hairspray or a curling iron. love it! -just beware not to spray too close to your head-it can leave white film.

I'm in love! I have found a cheap alternative to my HG hair product, the "Head Banger" spray wax by TiGi.

This stuff smells WAY better than the TiGi product, which smells nauseatingly like synthetic peaches. And it's $6 for 3 ounces, vs. $18.95 for 4.5 ounces of the TiGi spray wax.

If you have fine, dry, hair, there's nothing better in the world! My hair used to break off when I put it in ponytails or if it got too tangled in the wind. This product gives incredible body, styling hold, waves if you want them, straight if you don't, and really helps prevent hair breakage.

A steal! I want to go buy 10 of them just in case they ever discontinue this product. :)

I thought this was a great little product. Much better than traditional wax in the pots. This is easy to use and provides excellent hold. I use this to flip out my ends and it holds all day without feeling greasy or sticky. Feels like nothing at all actually. I happen to like the smell, but to each his own I guess. Just wish it came in a bigger container.
