I know you can't find this product, anymore, but I LOVED this shampoo! In fact, I loved pretty much all of the Herbal Essences' "Old School" stuff. In my opinion, the new stuff just doesn't stack up. Is it just me?

I used to love the original herbal essence for the scent...but the shampoo was horrible in general. It did absolutely nothing for my hair. So I was rather dissapointed since I enjoyed the scent so much....so I stayed away from this shampoo for several years. Then I ran across the fruit fusions line and found the hydrating one and absolutely fell in LOVE with the scent... Ohhhhhhhhh it smelled so good I couldn't resist. I had remembered my bad experience with the other herbal essence so I didn't get my hopes up or anything. Much to my surprise...This shampoo worked GREAT!!! Great lather...rinsed clean...smells fantastic!! I mix & match using various moisturizing conditioners with it (all drugstore brands) and I always have wonderful results when using this shampoo. My only guess is that they drastically changed the formula or something. But I am very impressed with this shampoo... I highly reccommend it.

[Before this I was using Sheer Blonde highlighting shampoo by John Frieda].
Wow, what a change, and Herbal Essences is so much cheaper! I was almost prepared to dislike this shampoo based on hearing lots of negative reviews on this, but I found this a really nice shampoo. Combined with the matching conditioner~ This makes my hair smell absolutely gorgeous. My hair was easy to comb after washing when my hair was still wet, and felt really soft and silky.I'll be buying this again.

Ick. I don't like this, it reminds me too much of Suave's poor quality. This made my hair ratty and knotty afterwards, and it felt like it stripped my hair way too much. Squeaky clean at it's worst.

Herbal Essences to me is mostly about the scent, which is why I bought it. This one is blackberry/avocado/mango. It did a pretty nice job of restoring my hair suprisingly, another plus! It didnt do the awesomest job like a shampoo actually designed for treating hair. Excellent price and packaging, so YEA!

I got this shampoo as it was buy one get one free, so I purchased the conditioner along with it.It smelt amazing and the lather was fantastic although my hair was a bit tangled, used along with the conditioner it was soft manageable and smelt great all day. Great for the money!

I love the smell and thats mainly why I bought it. It did actually hydrate my hair and made it soooo soft. I always go back to this shampoo (and conditioner) because it actually works well, compared to the other clairol products I've tried.

Good stuff! I used it with the matching conditioner and got clean, smooth, shiny, moisturized hair! I'm not exactly wild about the scent, it's kinda icky to me, but the performance is great!

Is it just me, or does this shampoo stink? I mean literally, the smell made me sick! Every time I used it I got nauseous. Not my favorite scent at all, but I do like other Clairol products, and this one got the job done just fine, once I got past the smell. My thick hair felt very smooth the next day. Would by this shampoo again in a different scent!

The only good thing about this shampoo is the awesome smell. I have dry, colored hair. This shampoo got it too clean and basically stripped it. My hair was like straw. Maybe if you had oily hair it would work. But, of you have dry hair AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COST. :|

Wow, I am surprised at the bad reviews. My hair was very dry so I decided to try this. The price was good too. I LOVE the scent! Thats my favourite thing about it. Blackberry, mango and avacado. Yum. My hair was managable, shiny, soft and managable. Not bad. Not bad at all. :-)

Blech. The only thing this has going for it is the smell. (I have to add that I have always shunned Clairol shampoos and conditioners because of those horrible, stupid, annoying Herbal Essences commercials. But this smelled so good, I broke down and forgave them). After lathering up, my hair felt rough and matted. I doused it with the matching conditioner and that improved somewhat. I let my hair air-dry like normal, but it looked anything but normal. It was limp and the ends looked cooked. When I put it in a ponytail, the hair just slid out--not because it was all smooth and silky but because it was unplesantly slick. I pitched the shampoo but I've found a use for the conditioner. I've been using is as shaving cream.

Smells lovely. I thought the old Herbal Essences fragrance was great, but this is even better. More fruity than floral and just plain yummy. However, the shampoo itself is average. It dries out my hair and is too harsh for my dyed hair. I use it only if my Physique runs out... Definitely need my Feria conditioner after using this stuff.

Fruit Fusions has one of my favorite shampoo smells of all time (hard not to take a smell whenever I go to the bathroom) but I don't think it does most of the basic properties of shampoo very well. It made it severely oily and the ends really rough. (Think super frizzy, even though my hair is straight.) It did make my hair somewhat shiny, however.

I tried this while visiting my parents on spring break, and I fell in love with the scent. My mother said that I could take the bottles because she didn't like what it did to her hair. I was estatic! I took it home with me, used it for a few days, got numerous compliments on how great my hair smelled.. but everyday I noticed my hair was becoming greasier and limper. So I cut this shampoo out. Maybe it would be a good for every now and then for the smell.. but everyday was just waaay too heavy and greasy for my hair.

I bought this and the matching conditioner in a special 2-pack and have used it for the past couple of days. Wow! I really, really like how my hair looks and feels with this stuff...soft, silky, shiny and clean! The smell is delicious. I think I am done with high-end shampoos and conditioners except for occassional treatments...this stuff is fantastic and inexpensive and my hair looks wonderful. So glad I picked this up!

Excellent stuff - smells amazing, like some exotic blackberry-mango concoction and leaves hair smooth, shiny & bouncy (especially when used in conjunction with L'Oreal's Smooth Intense serum).
