This is absolutely the best mascara that I have tried from Avon and certainly one of the best of any brand. I am very disappointed that I haven't seen this in any Avon brochures recently, I'm worried that they discontinued this product. I have pretty short, straight lashes and not just any mascara can fix my problem. This is about as close to a miracle worker a mascara can be. It gave me great length and curl (even more than others that I have used an actual eyelash curler with) with many compliments. And this is the mascara that would often be on sale in a brochure for $2.99! I really hope Avon brings this back without any changes because this has to be one of the best mascaras on the market.

I'm a mascara junkie and anyone who knows me well enough will say I love a great mascara - which this product is! My naturally curly lashes (so cumbersome at times!) separate and spread to great lengths with this mascara. No clumping, flaking, running, NOTHING!

I do recommend wiping the excess off because it allows for cleaner application, especially to target those pesky outside corner lashes. I've had people ask me if I'm wearing false lashes with just 2 coats of this stuff! BUY IT!

I've tried a lot of different mascaras lately, and this one didn't do much at all. Avon's lengthening mascara wasn't terrible, but it didn't do anything for my lashes. They didn't appear longer or thicker...just a little darker. I tried using several coats, but the formula didn't really build. I was disappointed, but at least I didn't spend a lot on it. I'll probably throw this one away.

UPDATE: WOULD NOT CONSIDER DUE TO ANIMAL TESTING FOR CHINESE MARKET 17/02/2012 I don't know why I used this for so long (little over 3 years). It's ok but dosen't keep my lashes curled and does flake a bit at the end of the day.

Not a bad mascara, I didn't get the wow factor once it was on but it did give my lashes nice coverage. I did notice some smudging at the end of the day though.
Update: I am not liking this at all, it is clumping and smearing and irritating my eyes, won't be buying this again.

Pros: Brush is narrow and lots of spacing between bristles so combs nicely. Can layer without getting clumpy or weigh down lashes. Formula is wet so no clumping. Holds curl. Sometimes goes on sale for C$2.99.
Cons: Not waterproof so gives me dark undereye circles (thus low overall rating).
Still searching for one that doesn't smudge.

i liked this mascara a lot, it lengthened my lashes without giving me that "spider lash" look, held a curl well, didn't weigh my asian lashes down and separated my lashes as well. i got this on sale so i didn't have to pay for much. however, there is some smudging at the end of the day, but nothing i haven't seen before with other mascaras if i don't use the waterproof version. will buy again, but this time in waterproof, and yes, i recommend it.

I love this mascara it can get your lashes sky high. It lengthens and volumizes, I can get my lashes to easily touch my brows. The formula is nice and wet which make it easy to apply a bunch of coats, before they get too clumpy. The brush is also just right not too big or small. The didn't really have any issues with it.

I got this on sale for $1.99 (regular price is $6, I think) and it isn't that bad. It does lengthen but doesn't really hold curl well at all and isn't volumizing whatsoever which is something I need for my mascara. It doesn't claim to be volumizing so I won't hold that against it. I don't hate it, I'm actually wearing it right now! It's a good mascara, it's just (like a lot of mascaras) not the best. Will I repurchase? Probably not, only because I want to further explore my mascara options and I only repurchase ones I really love.

I first got to try this when I was unable to bring a mascara and I needed a quick lash fix. So, my friend offered hers and I wasn't expecting much, but was I ever wrong! :) This mascara does exactly what it's supposed to-- LENGHTEN. I could really notice the difference, even just after one coat. I never really paid attention to Avon stuff, but after this product, I think I'm going to go try their volumizing mascaras next! :)

I bought this when it first came out and it was at an awesome sale price(around $4), and I can probably never get such a good price again. I loved it. It was easy to apply and I noticed the length, which is rare. I rarely notice any affects with mascara because I just mainly use it because the tips of my lashes are light blond.

My HG Mascara! Give me long lashes and ton of volume, It's really cheap too.. I just wish it was easier to get, I hate placing Avon orders for one mascara.

I've tried the cheap to expensive mascara's and found the one I love the most and am sure is the best I've ever had....Avon's Astonishing Lengths! I get it online from Avon when they're having free shipping specials. It often goes on sale for $3.99 or $4.99, so I stock up. It never clumps, washes off easily but doesn't flake or run, and it does a fabulous job lengthening and thickening when I wiggle the wand.

This is probably my favorite mascara. It does go on kind of light and you need to layer it, but I prefer that to having a mascara go on way too dark or thick with the first swipe.

meh. its nice if u put it on top of another mascara, because it adds length but its waaay to light for me. i like thick lashes as well as length and this does NOT do the trick. i also dont like it because it takes forever to dry and when i look up after putting it on, it smears all under my eyebrow. its terrible to take off as well.. i lost a bunch of eyelashes because of this stuff. its cheap but not worth it. also my eyelashes were clumpy and seperated with this mascara.. blah.. didnt like it at all....

INSANE LENGTH!! Perfect to wear alone for a naturall length look, but AMAZING when placed on top of any other mascarra to really look like false lashes. I prefer this to add on top of any other mascara (clinique high impact is my favorite) to add length, because on its own has no volume or thickness at all, it is strictly just a lenghtening mascarra because the formula is so thin, but it is dirt cheap ($3 when avon has it on sale) and works wonders :)

Well, avon finally gets it right with a mascara. All the others have just been a huge disappointment.

This one made my already long but pale lashes so long they left marks under my eyebrows, so no looking up until it's dry. The formula is wet enough that you can put on multiple coats with no flaking or clumping. it stays put and doesn't smudge or flake into your eyes later in the day. In fact, it even stayed on great when I fell asleep in it. Also, no animal testing and it's very affordable. The con: no volume building. I put this on top of my Full N Soft and it acts as a separator as well as lengthener because the brsuh is excellent. It is good by itself for more subtle but very long lashes. It's also awesome for lower lashes and upper lash corners.

Nice stuff. It's a very 'wet' mascara, so it allows multiple layers to be built up without any clumping whatsoever. Gives a little length, not a huge amount. If you just want a basic everyday mascara, this is good enough. Note that I already have dark, fairly long lashes - not sure how effective this would be on short, sparse lashes. What this IS great for is volume without clumps when layered over my usual mascara, Cover Girl Volume Exact. On it's own this one is too subtle for my taste, but again it's great as a quick 'everyday' mascara. If you have blonde lashes and black mascara is usually too intense on you, this one just might be perfect because it's quite sheer and subtle.
