This scent is amazing.. my God, it's delicious. However, it dosen't last. At all. So back it goes. Even the lotion. So yummy! But lasts for maybe, 20 minutes. :(

This is a nice basic vanilla scent. Great for layering with other scents. Affordable too. My only complaint is the bottle. When I removed the cap, it pulled the spritzer off and left it lodged in the cap. I had to use tweezers to get it out. I was able to put the spritzer back on the bottle and I decided to just leave the cap off.

I would normally give this 4 stars but for the price, why not 5? I like about 20% of vanilla-heavy scents, the rest are too cloying. This is one vanilla I keep going back to. It is not that it isn't sweet and it certainly isn't complicated - so it's hard to explain why I keep it in my collection (this is my second bottle). It's simple and balanced. On me, it stays fairly close to the skin but not extremely so and it lasts fine but is not heavy. Works great in winter. I use it in tiny doses for layering sometimes in the summer.

This perfume has a straight up vanilla scent, that's all it is. no top notes, or base notes or anything just vanilla. Boring and overpowering if worn alone. BUT... i bought this for layering over other perfumes. I lovee sweet perfumes but i also love DKNY Delicious Night which is a total sex bomb perfume. Wayy too dark and rich to wear alone for me. so i put a tiny spritz of that and a mist of TBS vanilla and its the PERFECT balance.
Lasts all day too. Love this stuff for layering.

I absolutely love the vanilla scent from The Body Shop, it's the best scent ever! I get so many compliments when wearing the vanilla scent. I first got the body mist which I've been using almost daily since I first got it.
Now I decided to get the EDT and I definitely don't regret my purchase. Love it! The only downside is the bottle which in my opinion is a bit boring and dull to be honest.

I love gourmand type of scents so this fits perfectly with me. I actually got this from one of my best friends when we did a fragrance swap (it was 3/4 full at the time when I got it off her). This smells quite sweet and warm, but still has a slight sensual side to it as well. It is fairly strong I think, so I spray it sparingly otherwise I get a headache from it. Lasting power, not so great. Will finish what I have, but might not repurchase a bottle for myself.

I love this perfume! It is a very sweet vanilla, which some people won't like but I think it smells amazing. It is strong, but not an overpowering kind of strong, but strong enough that one spray on your neck (and possibly a wrist) will definitely be enough. When you first spray it, it actually does smell quite heavy and almost overpowering, however it smells gorgeous once it's on your skin. So if you smell it straight from the bottle and find it too strong, give it a try on your wrist anyway because in my opinion it smells nicer on skin than in the bottle. I don't wear this every day, probably about 2-3 times a week as I have a few perfumes I alternate between. It's not exactly cheap, but I wouldn't say it's expensive either as it is a good product. Overall, a lovely sweet smelling perfume, for a reasonable price, which I highly recommend.

I have the newest formulation, so I have no way to compare to the older formulation that people seem to like. This isn't bad, but it's not the best vanilla out there. It does have an slightly chemical quality, but not so much that it bothers me. I'll keep it around mostly for layering, but once this is gone, I'll be on the lookout for a new vanilla scent.

Edit: I notice an interesting note on the drydown, a sort of vanilla mixed with a bit of Love's Baby Soft.

The smell of this reminds me of baked goods that have come straight out of the oven. It is a very warm sugary scent, that smells like vanilla mixed with caramel. It's a bit too sweet and sugary for my liking, so I only gave it three lippies. It is a very 'nose lingering' scent, so only one spray is enough. Too much and it can give you a bit of a headache. Would be perfect for those who love sugary sweet perfumes.

I got a bottle of this from a friend who isn't a fan of vanilla scents (she knows how much I love them). It wasn't that bad, but I was expecting a little more. First off, the smell was more flowery than vanill-y. Next, it didn't last long at all, just about an hour or two, then you'd have to re-spritz. But, considering the price, it's okay, I guess. Although, I still say B&BWorks' Warm Vanilla Sugar scent is better. :)

I love this scent :) Sweet, warm and not too over-powering. Pricewise it's gentle on your pockets. A defiante goodie from The Body Shop. Only downside it doesn't last too long.

LOVE THIS SCENT!!! The price is reasonable and the scent is not too overpowering at all. I love it for work at my office because it doesn't make everyone in the office get a headache when i walk by. Plus, it comes in a nicely sized bottle that I can throw in my bag.

I would describe it as a really warm fragrance and it makes me feel really comforted. The only bad part is the scent doesn't last overly long so I have to reapply it a lot throughout the day.

I do prefer something a little more floral and strong for going out in the evenings, but for daytime this is my go-to scent

so i am not really fussed on the smell of vanilla, it wouldnt be something i like really but i love this vanilla edt from body shop i really love it, a lot of people think it smells too strong but i think its yummy!

wow i am surprised by the bad reviews. in highschool (not long ago) all the girls loved this. everyone would always tell me i smell good and alot of girls would use this. and i absolutely adored the scent. smells so yummy, warm and comforting. however, my bf told me i smell like a grandma. LOL so that was the end of this vanilla scent for me. (he says that about alot of scents but this was the first one.) thats why i give this a four. i would repurchase but only to wear on days where i wouldnt see him:)

This scent is nothing short of disgusting. I spritzed some on my arm and it smelt like burnt wood. I couldn't wait to get the scent off.

Price wise, I feel that TBS EDTs are a good everyday perfume, not too cheap and tacky if you pick the right one, so I was excited to try this for a sweet summer scent. Although a lot of TBS EDTs are okay on my skin (Morrocan Rose is my current HG), this didn't take well to me at all. I smelt like charcol and ash, and it was a horrible mess.

I love vanilla perfumes and I'm very disappointed by this one. I'm not going to go on and on about wishing the old vanilla back cos I think if we smelled it now, it would smell too sweet and plastic/eraser like, if you know what I mean! However, I still would prefer to wear the old vanilla to this try hard one. I just don't really like it. It doesn't last on my skin or clothes and it's just not...wow. I don't like the flowery notes in it. i want a straight vanilla as the name suggests. Should be called "a bit vanillary, bit flowery, bit ....... rubbish edt".

I used to always try this on when I would go in The Body Shop and just think it was the best smell ever. But I had a couple other fragrances at home that I wanted to use up first.
So finally it was time to buy this product and I was so disappointed. I think they have changed the smell alot over the last couple years because I don't like it anymore. In fact, the smell actually makes me feel sick to my stomach. Probably one of the worst vanilla fragrances ever. My current signature fragrance is Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar which smells alot better than this.

This is heaven, I LOVE vanilla scents, it's probably the best scent ever. It's sweet, warm and natural. It might not be suitable for all occasions, it kinda makes me feel very innocent sometimes haha! But I love it.

Bought this for around 9 GBP last week and how I wish I found this earlier!!!!!!!! This is fast becoming my HG scent!!!!!! It's a beautiful vanilla that's just right - not sickly sweet/foody with just a nice hint of florals. Perfect for summer, days and evenings, and I imagine it'd be just as gorgeous when it's colder. The bottle is ok, it looks a bit cheap (which it is ;) ) but it's so portable I just keep it in handbag so I can use it anytime, anywhere. Staying power is standard for a EDT but given the price I feel like I can re-apply it more frequntly should I need to. I simply adore this fragrance!!!!!!!

Simple vanilla fragrance. Bought it a couple of years ago because my bf at the time went crazy for it. I liked it too.. probably not as much! It was lovely when applied lightly. You could smell it one moment then it's gone the next, just like bf. I said no to buying again because it lasts such a short time and I'm not sure if it's really me... maybe if I layered it with something..Purchase if you enjoy vanilla scents and dont mind reapplying (although it could just be my chemistry?).
EDIT: I went into TBS to smell vanilla & white musk and wow the newly formulated vanilla is uuugh! not a fan
