The concept behind this mascara is lovely, but it doesn't fully deliver. I have Sheer Blue, and it's a medium blue gel you apply with a no-bristle plastic wand. This looks great in the first few seconds if applied to the tips of lashes, but it quickly creates clumps and the color all but disappears when it dries. A similar concept was Dior's IcePearl mascara, which was limited edition but looked gorgeous for hours.

I already have a lash dew called crystal lash which makes perfect clear dew-looking drops on my eyes and doesn't take very long to dry. Buuuuuuut it's only sold in japan and i could only find it for 25 dollars on ebay which was a bit expensive for the small tube i got. So i searched for a cheaper version and found the tony & tina lash dew which works very well but i was a bit disappointed because it's not as good as it's friend from Japan.Though i loved the blue color, it didn't form the drops as well. I think perhaps because of the dispensing method where the crystal lash applicator is like a small spatula and the tony & tina version uses a cylindrical stick of some sort. I would buy it again if i couldn't find any more crystal lash.

This was a total waste of money for me ($32AUD in sydney).
It's a light deeper blue turquoise clear gel in the tube with a spiral wand applicator (same as those mary quant ones).

This just won't dry on my lashes, and leaves a wet gluggy mess. Granted I have short black lashes so this probably wasn't for me, I don't see that much use with this product after all.

If you want to try this (Tony &Tina is discontinued soon I believe), it's best suited for people with long, naturally curly lashes I think. Apply minimally at tip of lashes.

I first bought this in Sep 04. I used it for a while but got disenchanted with it and forgot about it. My 7 year wedding anniversary is coming up on Mon & I was digging through my huge stash of stuff looking for my FOTD eye products that I'm planning on using that day. I pulled this out & applied it to bare lashes and like the way it looked. I added a couple coats & was really pleased with it. I took the advice of a reviewer below & tried it on my lower lashes. She was right, it looks really great there. My lower lashes are a glossy, transparent turquoise. This really brightens my eyes. This works best for ME lightly applied over mascara on my top lashes & over bare lashes on the bottom. It does make your lashes look wet, i.e. they stick together & look glossy. Don't use this if you're looking for defined, separated lashes. The applicator isn't a brush it's a bristle-less wand. If you're going to try to apply it over your regular mascara as I did at first (and which almost turned me completely off of this product), you might end up with a huge, black, spidery, stuck-together mess if you try to apply it from roots to tips. Just apply sparingly on the ends of your lashes and you should be fine.

An ok product, strictly a novelty for me. It made my naturally curly lashes STRAIGHT. It does give you a fresh-faced "just went swimming" look. Cute, but I would not buy this again.

I actually discovered this product when my friend and I went into Sephora. He wanted some kind of glittery eye makeup for Halloween, and I was just there to hekp him pick it out. When I noticed "Lash Dew" I immediatly picked it up, it sounded so enticing! I put on a coat or two on each set of lashes and liked how it looked, so I kept putting on more and more applications. After about 10, I looked at myself in the mirror a bit more closely and said, "They're blue! My lashes are blue!!" (a bit too loudly, neverless, but I did say it.) My friend said it looked really good so I purchased it. He said it gave me an all around "happy glow." I would definitely buy it again.

I think this would work if it stayed moist, like an eye gloss. For me, it looks so good when first applied, but when it dries, it's nothing but dry, poky looking thin lashes. It makes my lashes look thinner, if anything, even with regular mascara as a base coat. The blue tint is not visible on the upper lashes. HOWEVER: I've found a great way to use this stuff! On the lower lashes only...it won't be obvious if it smears, the light blue shows up, and it makes the lashes look moist and glistening.

I agree w/a few others, people really need to know what a product is suppose to do before putting it down. I don't really like to wear this w/out at least one coat of mascara. I have really light lashes.

I like the seperation & clumping that is does. When I do wear it w/out mascara is does give my eyes a nice dewy look but it gives more of the dewy look w/the mascara on me any ways. The price is not too bad considering how long a tube last as long as you don't pump it & you close it tightly.

For people w/ short lashes this will not probably not work the same for you or look right. IMO

I am on my second tube of this and just love it. I use it w/ Benefit's Bad Gal mascara.

I blot off the blue at the tips unless I am going out at night. I just don't like the look for day time w/ the blue on my lashes.

If you are looking for a feather look this is not for you.

As for someone losing lashes yes once this dries you need to use a remover but I have never lost lashes.

This will clump your lashes It does just what it is suppose to do.

This is a pretty useless product. In the tube it look like a blue gel. On the eye lashes it doesn't make them look at all dewy! This is a complete waste of money. Stick with an eyegloss (MAC) or use vaseline.

I was very unsure about this but I ended up loving it! I was worried cause it says it talks about clumping together & stuff like that. Then adding extra on the tips does look really cute. i always liked how my lahes looked fresh out of the shower now I can have that look all the time! this is the first Tony & tina product I really liked.

First off I agree w/ Kmccormi people need to read what a product is suppose to do before putting it down. This product is great I use it both on bare lashes & over mascara. I use one coat of regular mascara for a less dramatic look & 2 coats for a more dramatic look. This creates a great effect on my lashes it seperates them in to perfect clumps of lashes. It can leave little blue dots on the end of your lash but if you don't want that effect you can easily rub that part off before it dries. I don't try to seperate my lashes once I apply the lash dew it seems to give the perfect effect on it's own. I wears great & actually helps keep my mascara on longer! I don't use this every day just days when I want the WOW them lash look. Instead of my usually Feather false lash look. w/out the falsises.

THe second you put them on, it looks amazing! Its not a mascara but its more like little dots of blue on your eyelashes-looks cute. BUT after a while it crusts over and lashs will clump. Thats what it is!

For all of you who are complaining about "clumping" ... ever notice that when your lashes are wet, they naturally "clump"? That is the effect this product is going for, and that is the effect it achieves, so don't criticize it for that. It was never supposed to be the typical mascara, so know what a product's aim is before you criticize it for failing to do something completely irrelevant to its goal.

Okay rant over ... I have dark black lashes so I was a bit skeptical of the blue tint, but I thought that at least I could achieve the wet lash look if not a tinted wet lash look. But the tint showed up and looked great - very subtle and fresh, not garrish at all.

I've only worn this alone and it looks great - haven't tested it over mascara, but would recommend that one only applies a solo coat of normal mascara before applying this, because I just have this image of too-thick, spidery lashes if you apply more than one coat of base mascara.

Good concept, bad execution. I applied it over mascara which then made my lashes clump together (they looked really thick though). When I tried to comb them out, I lost eyelashes. When I tried to take off everything with my remover, I lost lashes.

I think if you like having turquoise lashes, you should just apply the product on its own (which I think is what it was meant for) and have nice blue lashes. The product does take about 15 minutes to dry though. I'm returning it tomorrow.

I think this product works for those with naturally lush and long lashes. I tried it over mascara, but it really takes forever to dry and makes my lashes stick together, so I have to comb through with a lashcomb and that takes away the droplets on the tips of the lashes which defeats the whole purpose. Also smudges like crazy on my lids. Had to toss it after I came back from my holiday as the gel looked funky.

I wish this worked for me. Maybe I didn't apply it correctly, but I thought the blue "dew" on my lash tips looked a bit fake, and it smeared on my glasses. I'm swapping this.

This is my favorite mascara so far. I love what it does to my lashes. It gives them that fresh from the shower look. Also makes my eyes open up and seem brighter. Non irritating which is a plus for me. This is a very unique product.

I only wish I could find this in more colors! I have the blue one right now and it works great. I apply it over my mascara and it leaves these itty bitty little dew drops on the end of my lashes. is perfect for that glowy eyed pixie look.
