my review is about the old version..My aunt sent it to me few yrs ago because we dont have NYC make ups here in Philippines..for me it is the best lipgloss ever..the color is soo perfect,it looks a bit orange/peachy on the tube but once applied on your lips it has a pink/coral shade.I tried looking in ebay for the old version cause ive read on some reviews that the new one has shimmer on it w/c i dont like but unfortunately I cant find one.

The other review was right. The newer shade of this product has some shimmer in it. I still have my old one because I found it under my bed..But the shade is so lovely! It's a sheer neutral pink which goes very well with my olive-tan skin tone. I definitely would like the old version back. The newer one just sucks.

I love this gloss, a coat of chap stick and a light layer of this and Im set. Not to sticky and it gives a nice sheer color.

Pretty good smell, not that strawberry-banana-ish, but oh well. A bit sticky. It's not bad, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I have both the old and new one for this. The new one is an orangey color with shimmer. Its basically just colored shimmer, though. When it fades, not much color remain. I like the older version better, which is a salmon-pinky shade. There are no sparkles or any glitter. It's only lightly tinted, so I love using it all the time. Too bad I probably won't be able to find the original anymore. I found mine at a dollar store... Lol. I just LOVE the smell! Like REAL strawberries mixed with bananas! I could smell the scent better on the newer, more shimmery version though.

Another great Kiss gloss from NYC! Stawberry Banana is a non shimmery opaque pink/peach with a delicious scent...more banana than strawberry to me. Although it looks scary in the tube, it goes on well and gives you a beautiful YLBB shine! Definitely a steal at under $3 and sometimes you can find them BOGOF, I believe this is one of the shades that has been reformulated so the newer version is a shimmery color though.

After reading some other reviews I am a little confused. The strawberry banana kiss gloss I have is a deep peach color with a golden shimmer mixed in not at all pink, salmon or coral. I like the slanted tip and I love the fact that the gloss spreads easily and evenly but I am turned off by the orange tint. It's not super dark but it is noticeable so when I wear the gloss I usually have to mix a little of my Tropical Skittles lip gloss in to make it look nice. I do like the faint strawberry/banana smell and it has no bad taste to it either. I will be buying this product again but not in this shade.

Mmmm! Really good gloss! Not that I'm eating it or anything...hehe. This comes in a sqeeuze tube with a slanted applicator. The packaging is sturdy and somewhat plain, but it works well and does it's job. The gloss itself looks like a really bright peach shade, however it barely shows up on my pale lips. Just a hint of gold/peach shimmer when actually on. The texture is not too thick and not too thin, just perfect. It's thick enough to stay around for a while but it doesn't glue your lips together either. And the scent is the yummiest part, smells exactly like strawberry bannana should! This is the best gloss for such an inexpensive price tag!!

I love this gloss!!! It's by far the best lip gloss I have ever used. The color matches with my skin tone, hispanic, and looks wet! It tastes good too, and perfect for smooching my boyfriend! He says it looks good on me. Iv'e tried other glosses, but I have ended my search because i've found this one. Not only is this gloss flattering, but it is cheaper than Bonnebell, Maybelline, Clinque, etc.!

Yaaa this stuff rocks!!! Its sooo funny because I spent under $4 (CAN) and its waaay better then all of those higher-end coloured glosses!!! The colour may make you hesitate at first, but trust me!!! It can suit all skin colours!! Love this!!! Awesome!! And it has limited shine, but major gloss!! Buy it!! You wont regret!!

Kiss Gloss in Strawberry Banana appears to be salmon pink in the tube. It applies to my lips as MLBB, leaving color and beautiful shine. The texture is thick and slightly sticky however bearable and the scent is true to it's name. It has good staying power as well. Kiss Gloss is packaged in a small tube w/ a slanted tip applicator. And it's really cheap @ $2.99.

Im not so sure about this product. the color is a nice coral-y salmon pink. has a lot of orange in it. i was hoping it would be almost more coral-y. i really dont like the fact that this gloss applys SO unevenly i have to run my finger on my lips like 100 times so their isnt any globs of gloss on my lips. its so goopy and uneven. the color is kinda sheer so you cant really tell thats its "coral" youre wearing. a real dissapointment. but then again ive never been a huge fan of Nyc. bonnebell has always been my staple brand. but they dont have a coral-ish gloss. so i opted to try this one. maybe i will try Jane for my coral colored lippie. nyc in my opinion, is the lowest quality of drugstore makeup you can buy. i prefer bonnebell so much better. nyc has always been a dissappointment for me.

I was a bit afraid that I wouldn't like the scent. But it's not overpowering, so that's good. Salmon Pink is a good description of color. I was going to describe it as Pink-Coral. I wish this was a bit more orange. When I layer it on too thick it's a little too pink for my liking. THe gloss is quite sticky, stickier than JT and Baby Pink. But I like it sticky. Overall a good gloss, but i like the clear one more.

This is a nice simple gloss...like almost all the colors of Kiss Gloss from NYC, the color is also very basic. Salmon Pink describes it quite well..I've heard a lot of people say its a peachy pink shade, but there's not a ton of peach, maybe a hint...more coral pink, than peachy peach. Strawberry Banana scent is nice change for a squeeze tube gloss, and this stuff is moderatly sticky and lasted a good couple hours on me before it completely faded away. The slant tip applicator gave a nice smooth even application as well.

I was was excited to try this product out after all the great reviews. And i sure wasnt dissappointed! Yes, the description of the tube from below is great! its a nice salmon pink. On lips, It did not wash me out like many glosses do. It gave me a nice nautral pink that was ylbb. The scent is also very real and i love it. somehow, the first thing my sister said was that it smelled like beer. then she said that it smelled like root beer. I love this lipgloss. The consistancy is nice and thick as well, so it lasts a while. But i dont mind applying often because its cheap. I wil buy this shade again!! my favourite, over the cherry kiss gloss!! This is the perfect shade and scent for the summer!! =>

Shade Salmon-pink without shimmer.

Comments This is a very lovely juicy salmon-pink shade. Unfortunately, it is quite sheer, so I don't think it'll show up much on those with pigmented lips. I have moderately pigmented lips, and I was hoping for more than a dash of colour from this little tube.
The only complaint I have with this Kiss Gloss is that it tends to bleed out of the contours of my mouth, and application tends to be streaky too. I'm not sure if I'll buy this shade again, but I'm thinking of trying other shades from the NYC Kiss Gloss line.My colouring

I would never have bought this gloss if I hadn't read reviews on it. It is an opaque salmony-pink color in the tube, but applies a translucent pinky-peach. Very pretty, and doesnt clash or look strange on my NC25 yellow/gold toned skin. This has become my everyday l/g! Contains no shimmer, just shine. The major surprise about this l/g is that like another reviewer said, it smells so realistic!! No overly potent artificial smell =). It is very tacky for a d/s l/g, which I like, but strangely doesnt have much lasting power despite the tackiness. But for $2.99, I don't mind that it lasts only about 1 hr. =P It's a great addition to my spring m/u & would definitely repurchase!

i love this gloss! i would have never tried this if i hadn't came accross this review. it's such a cute color, like a sheer milky peachy color on me. smells good too! this is a gloss i use often, it has a very good consistency, not gooey or greasy feeling. very good gloss for very cheap.

Cute colour, great texture (not as sticky as Clear Mint or Cherry), but why does mine smell like beer? SO will probably enjoy the taste and smell of this one a lot more than I will.
