Well I have heard a lot about the lip venom line so I decided to try this gloss. If you are looking for a gloss that stings your lips and puffs them up, this is definitely not it. But with that said, I love this gloss! It looks really red in the package and once you put it on it still maintains some of the redness but just the right amount. Once the gloss wears off the rosy red color is left. Some people don't like how "sticky" the gloss is but I think that it just makes it last longer and as long as you don't glob it on. Besides, you just need a little to get the right color. It's also a really great red for pale skin which I have had trouble finding. But I would recommend this gloss to anyone because the color lasts for hours.

At first I was a little put-off by how obnoxiously red this lipgloss appeared in its packaging, but I gave it a whirl anyway- and I'm glad I did. In the tube it looks like an intensely bright blue-red with tiny flecks of shimmer in it, and I thought it might be too red. On me, however, it gives my lips a sheer pink-ish tint that looks like they've been kind of bitten. When I bought this I was afraid it wouldn't hold up to the plumping sting of Lip Venom, but I get the exact same outcome with Venom Gloss, but with color and nearly 3x more product! Love it and will definately keep re-purchasing! I hope DuWop never discontinues this product!

I bought this for 50% off at the Victoria's Secret sale, and I have to say that I would NOT pay $18 for this - I have no problem paying high prices for lip gloss (e.g. Armani Lip Shimmers, LM Glaces) but this packaging is waaay too cheap feeling and ugly looking. Too bad it doesn't come in packaging similar to the original Lip Venoms. That said, I LOVE the color of this gloss - I hesitated in buying it, because the color freaked me out, but once I got home and read the reviews, I went right back and bought it, and I'm glad I did! I love how it's so sheer, yet still gives you a vibrant kick of color. This actually doesn't show up red on me at all - it's a very bright pink, that somehow also manages to be deep. It's a very "grown up" pink - no cotton candy pink here. Also, I was very surprised when I wiped this off with a napkin and the color on the napkin was the same bright pink - I wonder how it looks so red in the tube? But anyway, I apply this with a finger and tap it on my lips, so I don't get a super fake looking coat of gloss. I love that I can apply such a thin layer and still get lots of color, and because I do apply it very thinly, I don't feel that it's too heavy or tacky. Also, bizarrely enough, the tingling feeling doesn't always happen when I apply it - sometimes it tingles, sometimes it doesn't. Weird. However, when I DO get the tingling, it's nowhere near as strong as the original venom. Also, I don't notice any plumping action, but I didn't really expect it to plump in the first place. I love this gloss, but I don't think it's worth the $18, so I doubt I'll repurchase unless Victoria's Secret has it on sale again :)

While the shade is attractive, the texture and application of this product is not. Way too gunky going on...it feels as if I've been sucking on the world's stickiest cherry lollipop. I also found that it didn't keep my lips very moisturized...just very very gooey. And heaven help you if you're wearing it on anything but a windless day, because when your hair brushes across your lips, it's all over. Sticky hair in your mouth, on your face, on your head...everywhere. Just say no.

I can't help but love this gloss, even though i dislike some of its qualities.. it feels kind of gross when i apply it, because it is just soo thick and sticky.. this is kind of a good thing, since it stops feeling heavy after application is over and stickky means it lasts a very very veery long time.. still, it feels gross on my finger and i hate it when my hair get's caught in it. i also don't like the fact that sometimes the color looks uneven on lips, cause the tube has just a slanted tip .. i'd rather it came with a brush or a wand. It feels spicy and tingling, and yet my lips don't look much plumper. however, i have very full lips so i guess its a good thing it doesn't plump them further. Sometimes i get sick of the tingling, but when its really late or in a boring class, this perks me right up and i don't know why but i feel more daring. the color is just beautiful, on me it looks more rosy red than red, kind of pink actually, but i love it. If i layer it with benetint it is breathtaking, with a dab of silver highlighter on my lip's bow. it is kinda expensive but i actually don't really care cause i like how it looks on me. i'd definitely buy again, but maybe in another color to check other options. i definitely recommend it, although its not my HG

My face has reddish undertone so I usually stay away from red. Tulip lipgloss made me like red again. It is sheer red, which turns to reddish pink as the color wears off. I have to buy this one again because nothing else quite gives me the confidence as this one does to me. I can feel assured that it looks natural without being too much. Also, the lasting power is just right for me. I even like the tingling sensation. As some MUA noted, it becomes addictive after a while.

If you're looking for a gloss that gives you a natural flush of colour and shine, then DuWop venom gloss is it.
Onto my gripes first! My wishlist for this gloss: greater staying power (I have to reapply regularly, unlike my lower-end lip glosses); more pigmented (I don't have rosy lips and rarely wear lipstick, so this is quite important to me).
But that's basically about it - the plumping agent works ever so slightly on my sensitive lips but it is by no means an unbearable sting. Although the gloss is very sheer, it is also fantastically flattering and natural when freshly applied. In my opinion, this gloss is perfect for day, to wear alone.
Price-wise: reasonable if you can't find any other gloss like it, but I think compared to many other lip glosses (Diorkiss, Glossimer etc.) the amount you're getting in a tube (and the amount of venom gloss needed to achieve the pigmentation characteristic of Diorkiss & Glossimers) do not justify AUD$40.

It's a nice sheer red, which I love. But that's about the only good thing. First of all, it's sticky as hell, which makes it last long off course, but not when wind blows and hair moves. Also, the color is hard to get on evenly, even with a nice brush. And off course, most importantly, the painful tingle can be felt, but no plumping results can be seen. Just a hype product. That for 30CDN is not a good thing.

I always want to buy a red color gloss, but i was afraid if the color is going to be too bright. But, Tulip from Duwop is a very nice red color. It looks sheer than what shows on the tube, but it still gives red color on lips. The application is kinda hard because it doesn't have a brush or wand. Sometimes the color is not even on the lips. So, it's better to use mirror. The the color doesn't last, so reapplying is necessary. I can feel the tingling sensation, but it doens't give too much effect to plump my lips.

i love this product. i am asian NC 30, and it is a great red colour without being too much. you can wear it when you are dressed down or dressed up. there are no white stickies in the corner of your mouth! the sting is not as intense as it is with the original lip venom.

I love this stuff. I've never tried Lip Venom, but Venom gloss is wonderful. Tulip is a nice, sheer red that isn't too red, nor is it not red enough. It's just a great sheer color, perfect for the red-shy. It smells absolutely wonderful, like cinnamon with a little bit of bubblegum, and while the tingle is intense, it's not really all that bad. It's sticky and lasts a long time, and while it doesn't really plump my lips (though they don't need plumping), it does make them even redder, so my lips are perfectly, naturally, red. I love it!

Although I really like the sheer red color, the sting is too strong for my taste, it makes my lips feel dry. The smell is also stronger than I prefer, and the sticky factor is too annoying for me to use this everyday. I like the feel, smell and texture of the Too Faced Fat Kiss gloss better, although it definitely does not last as long as the Venom Gloss.

I love the color, but it becomes more of a juicy pink than a clear cherry on my lips. That's the only disappointment I have in regards to Tulip. The venom formula delivers a biting sting (which I love) and glassy shine. If the color were a bit deeper, it'd be an instant holy grail.

Just got this and I love it, it's a pretty, sheer red that makes your lips look like you just ate a popsicle. Not so red that you can't wear it during the day, just the right amount of color. I also adore the tingling sensation and the smell. I don't think it plumps my lips that much, but that's fine with me since it stays on for hours. I used to hate wearing gloss because I had to reapply it so often, but that's not a problem with this stuff. I already have another venom gloss and just ordered two more, I love them.

I love this stuff! This is a very pretty sheer red, similiar to Urban decays *guys love betsy*. It doesn't "plump" my lips any, but I continue to buy it because I love the stinging sensation.

This is a very shiny, sheer red gloss with a slight sparkle. It's actually a bit more pigmented than I expected it to be, but I still like it. It is pretty sticky, but not unbearably so. I love the sweet, cinnamon scent.

Another "Can't Live Without" product (see my review for this gloss in "Lily."). Tulip goes on as a sheer red, and is a great alternative for people like me who can't wear true red shades, or don't feel comfortable in full-on, drop-dead red lipstick.

I really like the colour. I don't have a problem with streaking. I used to prefer the Chanel red glossimer, but this is much better.
Sheerer and more wearable.
Love it.

This is one of my "going out" purse essentials! I have an olive complexion, and the sheer red shade looks lovely. It can be a bit streaky, but nothing that can't be fixed with a lip brush. I also love love love the tingling burning feel of these products, and have become addicted to them - I always have to have one variation of venom in my purse at all times!!

I was dying to try Lip Venom - so I thought I'd give it a go with this pretty sheer red colour. Although I am now addicted to the tingle, I am considering exchanging this for the clear version, because the gloss is VERY gloopy and sticky, and is a lot sheerer than I would have expected. I don't even get any redness, or noticeable plumping of lips, as promised. The tube makes even application difficult (think Juicy Tube), so squeezing some onto a finger, then applying is your best bet. This was also easily the most expensive lipgloss I have ever bought, at AUD$40. Definitely won't repurchase.
