It smells like peanut butter. It works okay but the smell is yuck. I prefer Buffy the Backside Slayer because it smells better and it doesn't get as soft.

Oooh, just looking at a picture of this little beauty makes me feel hungry! My favourite body butter out of the Lush range. Although Buffy has three different types of exfoliant (Ground Rice, Ground Almonds, Ground Aduki Beans), I find Aqua to be the deepest, most effective scrub due to it having ground almond SHELLS (which makes it slightly grittier). Because it is quite rough, it's important to make sure you warm it up sufficiently under the water first before rubbing on the skin, that way it won't leave wee scratches on your body. Quick, easy, saves having to freeze putting lotion on, leaves a subtle cookie dough scent on my skin - that's what I call a BFF!

I'm a sucker for anything that's exfoliating, be it face wash/ body scrubs. I love this body scrub and its probably one of the best that i;ve tried so far - However, be prepared that the grains within it can be quite corse. So if you have sensitive skin, this might not be an option for you.

This is the perfect product for those of us who love to get rid of dry bumps within a week- I really like the smooth texture that's left behind on my skin which compensates for crossness of the scrub grains. I highly recommend trying this product if you're a first timer at lush and you don't have sensitive skin.

Its a perfect item to include within your pamper sessions that we should each treat ourselves to at least once every week

Hope it helped:

Let me just say that this bar is such a treat, especially for winter and parched, flaky skin! My skin feels amazingly silky after using this. (note - this product is categorized under "scrubs" on MUA, but it is actually considered a "body butter" at Lush)

PROs:
-Moisturizing cocoa and almond butters with exfoliating almond bits result in soft, buttery skin
-Has a light, but sweet scent that stays on your skin

CONs:
-Expensive
-Leaves your shower floor slippery and greasy

Yes, it is expensive, but I would repurchase again. (I already have 3 or 4 times)

TIP: Though not a soap, keep your body butter out of water or a well-draining dish tray. It will melt!

This is the perfect post shave product. It is very moisturizing without leaving an oily or heavy residue. It is also exfoliating but is not too harsh for my upper body. It has an amazing scent. The only problem with this product is that if you do not get the tin it will melt away very quickly in your shower.

I love this bar. It smells so good and leaves you're skin so soft especially after shaving your legs. My problem though with bars like these from lush is the fact that they really do not last long. I've tried cutting them up in squares and do keep them away from water like instructed but it still melts fast. I'll take out one lippie just because it lasts only two weeks long no matter how you try to take care of it . to bad its a big fav of mine.

I've just finished a sample of this and went on to purchase 2 bars. For me the granules are only slightly scratchy on my skin but not abrasively so. The bar turns milky, smells nutty or biscuity and washes off leaving my skin moisturized. I don't need to moisturize after using this.

I've read other reviews saying this turns mouldy easily so i kept it in an opened dish so it'll dry off after each use. I feel its convenient to use in the begining, just grab the bar and rub onto skin. But when the bar gets more than half way through, it'll start crumbling as i massage onto my skin. Alittle inconvenient but i think i'll alternate with my other more conventional scrubs. I do like this and will continue to use this.

Aqua Mirabilis smells great! It has sort of a peanut/almondy scent, definitely nutty. I buy this product specifically for my underarm area. If REALLY helps with any discoloration!! My underarm area is now restored the my normal skin color. Since I only use it on this area, and sometimes my legs, one bar lasts me for a fairly long time. Otherwise, it does get used up fairly quickly. So if you're going to buy this product but are a little scared of the price, be sure to try to conserve!

I rub it directly onto my skin, enough to get a good amount of product onto my skin, then rub it in with my hands and gently rinse with water.

.....this is the first time being dissatisfied with a LUSH product..... I tried this just to see if it was less abrasive than the Buffy bar ( which, btw I love) and it wasn't.... But that's not what bothered me..... What bothered me was the strong peanut smell and the fact that when you go to apply it, it's a runny, dripping mess ( I apply it the same way I do with Buffy and did not have that problem before).... And no, I didn't use it under the shower stream.....and my skin did not feel moisturizing after using aqua.....I'm sticking with Buffy.

This scrub. Wow. I love it. It smells lightly biscuity, but it was not at all strong. It feels incredible to scrub away, and it is so easy to scrub with given the bar form (compared to clumsy me with liquidy scrubs). I would buy this again and again if it weren't for the price. While in the shower I stepped out of the flow of water and scrubbed away. It was so lovely, but I feel like I went through an enormous amount with just one scrub. It is moisturising, but without leaving a film. I keep this in a lush tin, as even in the store as I walked around with it it started to melt, and the SA took it away and wrapped it up for me confirming it would melt in my hand. It is about $15AUD for the bar, but I would say I will be lucky to get 4 washes out of it, which is very expensive in my mind. Still, probably my favourite scrub ever, it might have to be a necessary indulgence.

Absolutely love the smell- it's like some kind of peanut butter cookie, and scents up both you and the entire room. The texture when you scrub is just nice- not too scratchy like some sea salt scrubs, nor too creamy like other products which call themselves scrubs. It also leaves you moisturised without being too greasy, and softens the skin. The only drawback is that it is expensive if you tend to use it everyday. Nonetheless the smell may just be worth it. A definite repurchase.

I loved this. Until it started to grow MOULD!!!!! Soooooooo disgusting. Sure, it's all natural, but I'd rather have chemicals on my skin than fungus.

I just used this for the first time today. The product worked into a creamy exfoliating lather. The scent reminds me of almond and kind of rice pudding-ish. This product was not hard to use at all, you just step out of the water stream in the shower and rub it where ever you want to moisturise and exfoliate. My legs feel fantastic right now, But I still think im going to use a moisturiser becasue I have very dry skin. This products makes your skin feel like silk so it's perfect for when you are going to the beach. I did take off one lippie because it's kind of a hastle to wait for it to dry, and if you leave it in your shower it'll melt so everytime you have a shower you need to remember to grab it from your collection. After one use I can tell that it runs out pretty fast so i'll probably use it weekly just to save my $$. I also think that you could cut off little chunks (much like their soap) to keep it from melting away. i have very sensitive skin and this has not made me have a rash so far, but it's only been an hour or so since i've used it. I would reccomend this to a friend and I will be repurchasing :)

This is similar to Buffy. They both are used to exfoliate and moisturize. The Aqua however seems to exfoliate more. You can see the grounded up almonds in the bar which i believe is used for exfoliation. Just like in the Buffy there is cocoa butter, and it really moisturizes your skin. I have purchased this 3 times so far while I bought thr Buffy twice. The Buffy mostly moisturizes in my opinion. You can see a nice lather when you scrub this up and down your body. Make sure you get a tin to get the most use out of the product!

MMMMMMM! biscuits comes to mind when i use this product! Lovely fragrance and just the right amount of scrubbiness for a really deep down exfoliating sension (and obviously you would probably only need to use this twice a week for that exact reason). Left me very smooth and smelling delicious!

The boyfriend loves it too, so it totally deserves all this praise.

Hehe, I'm going to have to oust everyone here and say I actually prefer Aqua to Buffy! The oily feel that Buffy leaves afterwards is sometimes too much, I find that Aqua leaves a nice, clean scrubbed feeling and that you can just moisturise afterwards. This bar is BEAUTIFUL. It's amazing as a scrub, great for going away with, gentle but scrubs well, and i love love love the scent. All i can smell is roses and nuts. Yum! This is once again a bit pricier but it is worth it when you just need to unwind and treat yourself!

Buffy or Aqua Mirabillis? Buffy...or...Aqua Mirabillis? I really can't decide! They're both very similar but each has its own qualities. Buffy has a slightly odd (but nice) smell and leaves your skin feeling like an oil slick afterward (I'm not complaining :P), whereas Aqua Mirabillis is slightly different. To me, the smell is like that of crushed up digestive biscuits (you cant eat it though unfortunately...) and it is slightly more milky in my opinion. It froths up a bit more, and is a lot less harsh than Buffy.

Back to the question...Buffy or Aqua Mirabillis? ITS A TIE!

I love Buffy, but I'm addicted to Lush products and love to give 'em all a try so I gave Aqua Mir. a go. It's tough to rate compared to Buffy because the textures and scents are so different. While they are both nice and scrubby with rough bits, Buffy is more of an oil base while Aqua leaves a watery, milky finish. Also, can't say I liked the smell so much for Aqua. I'm an unfortunate soul in that scents turn on me in a wicked way (Lush products are so natural that I can use almost anything without the scent changing). The scent of Aqua after towel drying and dressing began to smell like arm pits. Harsh, I know, but hey - my chemistry is terrible with most stuff. Also, I've used it for a week, hoping it was something else, but alas, it's the way this particular scented product works on my skin. Bummer. Upside - for having used it a week, my skin is soft, but the product is not lasting long. It's worn down quite a bit. Buffy lasts much longer. I can see this being great for someone - just not me.
