Pretty color and great mint scent, but incredibly drying, even over a balm! The shade is a very flattering berry with a bit of shimmer to it, but it feels awful on and accentuates even the tiniest flake on your lips. The shade is one that I'm sure every company makes, so my recommendation is to get something similar (but with a better formula!) elsewhere.

My only complaint is that my sister stole it for a while. It's a great color, I like the mint, and to me it feels good, not drying. I generally put gloss over all my lipsticks, so that could make a difference. I like it because I can put it on and it brightens up my whole look.

The lasting power of this formula is what reels me in, although the shade is quite wearable as well on my PPP skintone. It works easily with berry, pink or neutral lipliners, or none at all. On less than young lips, the formula stays put without feathering or bleeding outside the lipline. As for feeling dry on the lips, most long lasting lipsticks are drier and more matte, which helps them adhere to the lips. It's a trade off I'm happy to make for an all-day wearing lipcolor. One can always add gloss for a moister look and feel on the lips, although it lessens the wear somewhat. I happen to like the mint scent in Origins lipsticks and Once Upon a Shine lipglosses; it refreshes and perks me up during a late in the day touchup! The tube is an elegant slightly burnished silver in smaller than usual tube (about the same size as Stila). My tube is almost gone, so I see a repurchase in my near future.

I am giving this 2 lipsticks instead of ONE because the color is pretty; I'm giving it ONLY two because I don't like the way it FEELS although it LOOKS great! The mint burns and stings and chaps and dries my lips. If I wanted the feel of toothpaste sitting on my lips all day, well, I would smear toothpaste on!! What a stupid lipstick--irritating and drying. Like I said, feels TERRIBLE!! I can see why now they were GIVING these away (got it as a free promotion)--I sure as heck wouldn't buy one!

I like the quality and feeling of this lipstick. There is a mild clove scent. Not sure about the flavor since I didn't put any on my tongue. The color isn't quite right for me, but under a pale gloss I like it. I wont buy this exact color again, but I think I'll check out the other colors. Companies that give nice samples more than make their money back on me!
