I love this product. At first I use a serum or oil then Paul Mitchell sculping foam and then super sculpt.

Would I repurchase this product again? a huuuge YES! This is the very first Paul Mitchell product I have tried and I can't believe I haven't tried his products before. His products have been around for decades and is popular but I don't know what it is about hyped up, popular product, I just tend to gravitate away from it. I normally wouldn't tried out a product called Super Sculpt, to me it sounds like it would give me helmet head but it's quite the opposite. This keeps my hair soft and shiny and the texture is a watery gel. This has started my obsession with PM products and I've been trying out a ton lately with their convenient travel sizes. This product is awesome, it's the only product I've tried that almost completely eliminates my frizz which has never happened before. I have wavy hair that is more loose waves now that my hair is getting longer. It tends to get dry and very frizzy but also gets weighed down easy with products and can look stringy very easily. I apply this on towel dried hair, scrunching it in, either on top of a styling cream or by itself. Normally I would never use just one product to air dry my hair but this stuff is that good. This gives you light definition (I stress the word light), eliminates frizz, doesn't weigh hair down, doesn't leave my hair feeling dry, hair is touchable and gives awesome shine. What more could you ask for?

I managed to snag a 100% free bottle of this over the summer for less than $10. I use this on wet hair, scrunching in quarter sized blobs. It really defines my curls/waves and even through it dries crunchy, I have no frizz. It washes out easily and doesn't dry my hair out. Love it!

This is my HG! It's my all time favorite hair gel. It never leaves flakes and keeps the frizzies away.

Beyond having a quicker drying time than most products I use (I have a lot of curly hair, which can easily take all day to fully dry), this glaze didn't do much for my hair that I couldn't achieve from other products.
I did note, however, that it didn't produce any flakes, even though I used a lot of it at one time.
It has a fairly watery consistency, which is good for those who don't like their hair to feel weighed down. It provided some definition, but I wonder if it's meant for straight/wavy hair as opposed to curly/very curly.

I love this product. It provides enough styling product without weighing my super fine hair down. I use this to blow dry, to curl my hair (hot rollers), or just wear it in my hair for a natural wavy look. You get alot for your money, and this product is not like gel where it flakes or gives hair a unnatural stiff look. I first used this product back in 1998, and its still one of my favorites.

Mother of all HGs! I use this along with Super Skinny Serum. Since I gotten my perm recently (my 3rd or 4th time perming), my hairdresser recommended a serum and hair glaze. After reading rave reviews about Paul Mitchell on MUA, I couldn't wait to get my hand on this. Great product at a great price. This bottle will last me a while since a little goes a long way. My hair comes out looking great especially since I blow dry my hair every day. I tend to use this oon my mid-shaft, though I may need to start considering to use all over and much more product. Yay to Paul Mitchelle. Please dont discontinue.

This product did nothing special for my hair. I have very loose wavy/curly hair that always looks dry and frizzy. This product did calm down the frizz but it did nothing to boost my waves/curls. I was really hoping it would make my hair curlier and more defined. It also did nothing to moisturize my dry frizzy hair. I gave it to my mom who has tight curls and she had much more success with the product.

I really like this! It adds shine, volume, and light hold. Paul Mitchell Super Sculpt is a LOT better than the Paul Mitchell Sculpting Lotion which weighed down my hair, caused too much seperation/texture, and did not give shine. Super Sculpt makes my dry hair look healthy and moist, even if only for the short term. I can't recommend it enough for anyone who wants healthy shiny hair. Great for blowdrying, setting, sculpting. Think of it as a very light watered down gel. It reminds me of KMS sculpting lotion, my old favorite product, which was recently discontinued.

This is absolutely fantastic stuff, I've been using it for 10 years and there's simply nothing better out there for my curly hair.
I have fine, colour-treated hair and I just detest that 'crunchy' feeling that come styling products can leave in your hair. However, I never get it with this product.
I first put MOP's Form Foaming Gel - Light Hold in my hair followed by Super Sculpt and they work a treat together. MOP creates the curl while Super Sculpt holds the curl in place. Buy this now!!

Love this product! It defines my coils when used on damp hair. It doesn't leave my hair hard dry or flaky. However it does take awhile to dry on my hair but when it does my hair stays set for a week.

I ve only used this twice until now.
I ve described my hair condition in previous reviews.
I ve bought this based on these recommendations. I don't feel this as a gel and my hair doesn't feel crunchy at all. I ve used creams that were generating a more gel-like look.
It s not so "quick drying" as SSS. First time I applied a dime size, second time 2*dime size. The first time my hair dried almost frizzy free, I had curls, but the volume stayed almost intact. It was easy manageable. I ve biked the next morning for 20 min, at aprox. 7: 30 am (humidity > 75 %) and it maintain the curls, with almost no additional puff. My hair was not straightened.
The second time I used 2 *dime size my hair dried in more defined bouncy separated curls. The puff was reduced (almost to zero). And there was no frizz at all.
I straightened my hair, on the face sides and the "bangs" which only took like 5 min. The reason I did this is that I applied a less amount in this area. Why??? I ve noticed that after placing my hands on my hair, I will get a sort of shiny feeling (I did touch my face a lot ) and this caused red inflammation/ pimples on my forehead (it could be the bangs as well). I feel somehow my eyes are also affected. I will report how it acts.
To conclude; this products performs very well. I also use SSS and Outshine Redken and now I just need to work out the correct amounts to get optimal results.
21.03.10: I stil use this in conjuction with SSS. It s a great product: I bought the travel size bottle and although I use it everytime I wash my hair and 50 cm hair long (a lot!!) I consumed less than half of bottle.

This is my HG hair product. I could not live without this hair gel and would probably cry my eyes out if they ever stopped making it. I have very curly hair and have used this gel now for the past 10 years!!! It is very light weight so it doesn't give my hair that wet/crunchy look. Instead, I have natural, effortless looking curls. Because it is so light weight, I do have to use a ton of it, but I don't mind because it works so well. I have tried other products and nothing compares. I love love love it!!!!

I've used this product, intermittently, for years. I have straight hair that is very thick, and the glaze always gives my hair good shine and body. Lately, I've been combining the glaze with styling mousse (Loreal, VO5, etc.), and the results are even better.

Have only used this once so far. Deducted lippies for packaging because a pump would work better than the flip top bottle. On my very fine, thin and straight hair, this worked well as a blow dry lotion, I curl my hair under. Tamed static flyaway and gave some body and hold without weighing hair down and without stickiness. The only reason I would not buy again is because the bottle will probably last forever. Price is very reasonable - salon in Walmart was $6 a dollar less than the mall.

This product gives great hold without being hard, flaky or crunchy. I like to use it one my wet hair before blow drying. It can give definition to curls, lock in straight blow-outs, or help with volume depending on the styling tools used. I've found this product works well on many different hair types and adds a light shine and medium hold.
This would not be good for spiked styles, but just for subtle lift or control.

This is a throw back from my teenage years, I used to use it all the time when i had a 'spiral perm', YIKES. Anyways, lately I've been having a hard time finding something to keep my summer hair (frizzy) under control. This worked great back then, so I tried it again, it still works pretty good. It leaves my wavy, big hair in light control with just a little frizz, I think I liked this so much back in the day b/c I used a TON!

This is a very lightweight hairgel. It is the consistency of Biosilk's famous Silk Therapy, a little thinner than olive-oil consistency. I put a quarter sized amount in my hair and scrunch it from the bottom when it is damp or even dry sometimes, and it works really well. When my hair is dry, to keep it from frizzing I put in Biosilk afterwards, just a pea sized amount, or sometimes I mix them together in my hand.
It seperates, leaves hair soft and not stiff, and makes my hair look peacy which is really nice. Oh and at my salon it was only $7.50 for a pretty big bottle, a bottle a little smaller than shampoo. I've bought Herbal Essence products that cost more for the amount ;)
Oh but I feel it should have like a nozzle or a pump or something, because product always drips down the side of the pour spout a bit.

I really wanted to like this product and wanted it to work for me, but it didn't. It left my naturally curly hair very dry and and left my curls hard feeling. Also, it seemed to make my hair a bit stringy also instead of curly. I guess it seems to work for most people, it just didn't work for me.
