This fragrance is a light floral with slight citrus notes. It is very fresh, and smells just as a flower smells when in bloom. I love this! It is very light, but fresh, and I probably use too much of it, but just smells so good. One of my personal faves. Retails for around $10, which isn't too bad for an EDT

This does smell like true Linden Flowers and it's very soft and feminine (scents that I am not), so I do like it, but it does not suit my personality. I'm putting my samples up for swap for someone that can appreaciate the light, feminine fragrance. It reminds me of being in a field of flowers. This is a good summertime fragrance.

Linden Flower smells so beautiful in a fresh, romantic, natural kind of way. If you like linden, I can't recommend this one enough!

Small sidenote: La Chasse aux Papillons has been one of my great fragrance loves since the first time I tried it, but I'm terrible at picking out different notes. I never realized that linden was the predominant note in La Chasse until I wore Linden Flower.

So one-of-a-kind, unique, simple and very beautiful. Like a willowy irish girl scantily clad in aged white linen... slowly pacing about the castle, trying to decide which suitor will take her to the ball.. leaving a faint trail of this in her wake.

I received a decant as a gift from my ghostie, delsfan1. It's an extraordinary perfume in that I smell the dry, sweet linden flowers, and a slight salty note that takes this floral straight into a skin-scent, if not leaning just a tad towards being marine. Because it is such a sweet skin-scenty perfume it almost seems like a really luxurious lotion where it sinks into your skin and then wafts up at you at unexpected moments. There is definitely a bit of water hyacinth at work here, and possibly an orris root bottom note. I think it is exquisite and unique. If I ever run out, I'm sure I'll buy replacements. ADDED: It's 12 hours later and I've been enjoying this amazing perfume all day. The salt disappeared in an hour. The rest of the day has been spent with a skin-scent floral that is so comfortable, that if it were clothing, it would be a favorite pair of jeans. Upping from 4 to 5 lippies. It's GREAT.

Well, I like this, but then I love La Chasse and having that (much more beautiful and interesting), I see no need for this.

Ah. So this is the note that I disliked so much in L'artisan La Chasse. Salty and green, no thanks.

Most unusual Fragrance ! - - It is clean, but has an almost salty fragrance - smells of the ocean, and NOT the typical ocean/water/marine fragrances, which to me are a bit TOO SHARP or metallic. At the same time I would also want to describe it as a 'dry' fragrance... Confused yet? It has to be the most "different" fragrance that I've tried in a long time.... Guaranteed that no one else will smell like you when you wear this.... Definitely will keep this on my shelf year-round. Just absolutely wonderful, yes it is !((Update March, 2005)) After being here at makeupalley for nearly two years and trying out so MANY things I had never imagined - I still have to say this is probably one of, if not THE most unique scent I've come across - that's saying a lot since this is a single floral, simple scent ! And I still love it just as much as ever !
