I recieved this tonight and i was so excited because i had been wanting to try this and i put some on.. rubbed my lips together and was kinda hoping for more of a grape flavor but it was there.. well.. i got in the car to leave and checked myself out and just about jumped out of my socks.. it was so so pink/purple.. i had to rub some off.. it is a perfect going out clubbing color, my lips looked full and my face looked brighter ...but honestly for the day...No way unless i am to dab it on..:)

This is a really beautiful dark berry colour in a cool tone. I find it a bit too much for my paler skin if I put a lot on, but applied sparingly I really love it as it still looks glossy and pigmented. Not quite as long wearing as Juicy Tubes but definitely more pigmented and lip defining. It is hard to find a similar gloss to this so I was sad to hear it being discontinued.

Darn you Stila, for discontinuing what was hands-down the best lipglaze. It's such a gorgeous wine color on the lips, looks so juicy, and is easy to build. If I use the applicator, it goes on pretty full coverage. If I use my finger, I get a beautiful wine stain. The only replacement I've really found is MUFE supergloss #18, and even this is hard to find (and way too sticky!) I just wonder why, when so many of the neutral glazes look alike, did Stila has to discontinue this one?

Even though I have an issue with the packaging on Stila lip glazes (the click mechanism has such a long delay for dispensing product on the brush, which drives me nuts), I can't help but love this one! The colour is a beautiful reddish/plum (without being over the top) with a divine flavour and fragrance (almost too nice as I find myself wanting to lick it off my lips). Staying power with these glazes is better then normal lip glosses.

Although the color looks very purple, it comes out as more of a burgundy-wine color on the lips. I like the fact that you can make this lip glaze come out as pigmented as you want. For a sheer stained look, I blot on with my finger. For a more dramatic, evening look, I will do a full on application. The actual full application is quite pigmented, so be prepared. I love the Lip Glaze application tube and find the glazes easy to travel with and easy to apply on the run. I also like the lasting power and if you find it too sticky, give it a quick blot with a tissue.

This is one of my favourite Stila products and my HG lip gloss. At first, I thought this colour would be a usual grapy shade but I was surprised how it turned to be dramatic wine/burgundy shade which I love and really brightens my face. It's sheer but pigmented enough. The scent is pleasing too.
The clickable tube isn't my thing though. It's kinda hard to control the right amount and it takes sometime to get it through, but it's better than the wand-type lip glosses.

Hmm.. thought it was one of the more pigmented lipglaze around so I bought it.. It looks quite purple in the tube but on me it lookks either a yummy purplish pink sheen if worn sheerly or a full on magenta/maroon if I slicked it on liberally. Quite costly though so I'll only repurchase if I have extra cash.. either than that I did find the clicky pen quite annoying. Sometimes the product seemed stucked in the tube but once you clicked it too many time, a ton of the product juz comes gushing out,(lots of wastage) and wenever that happens, my heart juz bleeds considering the price.=P Lol. Its quite sticky so Its quite lasting.. hmm.. but it doesnt give the full on WET look glossy I was expected but more of a sheen. ( I think the secret lies in the slicking of clear gloss over it to save a lot of product you would have to use if you were to achieve full on shine.) The scent is quite like grape soda/ grape candy. real fruity! but its flavourless though.. hz.. pity.

I just got this and I love it. I am not to thrilled about the scent though. I'd rather it not have a scent like that (grape or whatever), its not that yummy, but not overwhelming either. Anyway, this looks like a really bright pink gloss on me, very pretty and it lights up my whole face. I wouldn't wear it with a lot of eye makeup on, bc the gloss is so bright. Great gloss I think.

First off, let me say that I bought this lip glaze ENTIRELY for how it smells. It was HEAVENLY - it smells like blackcurrant juice/ grape candy. I went to the Stila counter twice to get something else, and twice I contemplated buying it because it smells so good. So now I bought this, went home, and I tried my own new one and it smells really horrible. There's just artificial plastic smell and all. So do check your smell on the spot before you bring it home. I have since exchanged for another one and it's really really yummylicious. I gave it four lippies because I love the consistency - slightly sticky but wearable. I also love this colour - it is plum/magenta in the pen, but applies on a sheer (dark) purple. I have tried the other lip glazes and they were great, albeit ridiculously expensive. One main gripe - the lip pen. I never fail to complain about it. I hate hate hate the lip pen, because it always takes me SO many clicks to get it out. Not for the impatient.

"Grape" is not very grapey to me. It smells like grapes, looks purple in the tube, but goes on more of a pink shade than purple. I really was hoping it would give me more of a grape popcicle sort of look. It is super pretty though and oh so sexy. I love the shine it gives and the scent is like a dream. Maybe I should try blackberry or plum for more of a purple look. I cannot believe this stuff is so expensive. $24 is outrageous IMHO. Luckily I RIS. I do like the cool clickable tube too.

The lipglazes are so sheer- more suitable for giving a hint of colour to match other makeup- of you wore a lipglaze on a nude face- it wouldn't matter what colour you wore really! This is a gorgeous grapey purple colour- more pigmented than most other lipglazes. Not much of a scent to it though. Its a shame too that these glazes don't have a taste to go with the scent! D.xx
