I absolutely adore this product. I'm biracial, so naturally speaking my hair falls in half curly/half nest. Also, I don't always relax my hair when I should and this causes my hair to turn dry and increasingly damaged looking. Which i is.I live with a family that has totally different hair type, I have to go along with what they buy for conditioner. My step-mother bought this and I was skeptical. I used it and when I dried it the next day and straightened it, it was like magic I straighten my hair like a religion And its able to withstand the heat I have use and remain soft, shiny, and smooth! It was like I had almost actually just gotten a relaxer. My hair was super smooth and crazy shiny. Let my explain something. My hair is crazy dry and after using it it was like it had given my hair moisture steroids. I'm hooked and I'll never ever switch. Stunning results yet totally affordable. I can also use Suave Professionals Sleek and get the same results. The only thing I would change is the smoothness only last a few day. Pro? I can wash my hair more ( something that's hard for me before, having dry hair.

I used the conditioner immediately following the shampoo of the same brand/type. I think the scent is supposed to be coconut, which is just ok...not really a fan but I did not find the scent over powering. I used about two tablespoons to cover all of my hair, which is shoulder blade length, thick and wiry. I wear it flat ironed most of the time, so it's really important to me that the conditioner is coating my hair with enough moisture to help protect it when i hit it with a 450d. flat iron.
I distribute conditioner with a rubber bristled brush - I find that I use less and I can make sure that every strand is coated. This softened my hair immediately, making it really slick and silky - even wet, in the shower. It's loaded with silicone which I l actually like for my hair type. The really nice thing about this conditioner is that I barely had to brush through it. No tangles!
I used my microfiber towel afterwards and noticed that my hair did not get as dry as it normal. It took me a little longer to blow dry and even them my hair was still about 90% dry when i was tired of blow drying. My hair was also very straight, straighter than normal, even before i hot it with the flat iron.
The shine and moisture are the main things I wanted from this product and it did deliver these things. I could run a comb through it very easily. It completely moisturized the ends of my hair so I did not have to add extra product, which was a nice surprise. My hair felt clean, super soft and shiny. It does smell like coconut, but I guess I can live with that. I will purchase again.

When I first used this, my hair felt great. It smelled fresh, was detangled, and very soft. After 3 uses my hair got used to the product and is not happy when I use it. My hair is not moisturized or detangled at all. Will not repurchase but will use up. I might try it as a co-wash but it does have silicones. It's cheap but you pay for the quality that you buy.

Yuck, this left my hair dry like straw and frizzy!! And I hate the coconut sunscreen smell it leaves behind....what a waste of money, now this is just going to be used up as a shave cream because it seems pointless to use in hair whatsoever.

Ok, I'm reviewing Suave's NEW Professional Humectant Moisture For Dry Hair (it's in a silver and blue bottle). I think they've changed their old formula or something and put it out on the shelves as "New" because this picture doesn't look like the one I bought but it's the same name.
Anyway, I have dry scalp and dry ends so I thought this would be perfect for my hair. I also bought the shampoo with it. It felt pretty good in the shower, but when I got out and let my hair air dried, my hair felt like straw. Like the way it felt after I got a bad bleach job a couple years ago, when I had to cut 5 inches off. Which made me scream out loud because for two years now I've been working hard to get my hair completely restored. So I figured I would use this for shaving my legs. Which was an even bigger mistake.
Sometime in the middle of the night my legs got SO dry I scratched my legs in my sleep and made my right leg bleed! I absolutely HATE wasting anything, but I'm willing to make an exception for this, this stuff is terrible. Not even suitable for shaving your legs.

I never thought I'd love a Suave product, but this conditioner is awesome for my hair. I got a huge bottle for under $3 at Walmart. I have hair that goes to my bra strap and is mega thick. I end up using about a golf ball sized amount of conditioner and it always hydrates my thirsty hair. There's enough "slip" in my hair that I can actually run a comb through it in the shower. It has a faint coconut scent, but it is tolerable. As much conditioner as I use, it's very cost-effective to buy this. Will def repurchase!

So here's the scoop on this...
Pros:
-Super soft hair
-Makes hair super manageable
-Moisturizes well
-Rinses well
-Smells great
Cons:
-Too strong smell
-Smell never fades...
-Does nothing in terms of shine
So, I really, really like this conditioner. I personally don't mind the smell, I like to catch wiffs of coconut throughout the day (:. It also gives me super super soft hair, also makes hair very manageable, and, this is a big one for me, rinses really well! It doesn't build up to dull hair either. But, if you don't like the smell of coconuts I would definitely not recommend this. Also, this isn't a problem for me because I use moroccan oil, but it definitely doesn't make my hair any shinier.

I use Suave Humectant Moisture Conditioner as a shave cream & it's much more effective than any other hair conditioner used for this purpose. It seems to really bind on to the hair, making fewer passes necessary & skin is so soft afterward. I love it! It's really cheap too which is another perk.

I have a love-hate relationship with this conditioner. I LOVE how super-duper moisturizing it is for me. It leaves my hair smooth and silky. IT HAS WAYYYYYY TOO MUCH FRAGRANCE. Don't get me wrong, I love coconut. This gags me to no end in the shower AND it stays on me all day. It's sweet to the point of sickening. My boss actually smelled it on me the other day and he never notices stuff like this...and he doesn't get all that close to me either. UGH.
I still keep a bottle of this around and reach for it when my hair is crunchy and I need moisture. I wish they would hold back on the scent or make an unscented version.

This is my favorite conditioner. I leave it in my hair and it dries to beautiful, glossy ringlets. Love it.

I like this product along with the conditioner. I have relaxed hair and it leaves my hair very soft. I also have the shea butter and almond line, but they don't leave my hair as moisturized as this line. I also co-wash with it and it leaves my hair super soft and not frizzy.

Lets start out my review by letting you know my hair was fried. I had used two really bad hair dyes (Revlon Colorsilk & Clairol Soy4plex) which left my hair feeling like straw. I was devastated but I was also running out of my crappy TRESemmé shampoo & conditioner and needed a switch (it left me greasy by the beginning of day 2). I went to the store, for some stupid reason, looking for another TRESemmé product. I some how ended up in front of Suave. My boyfriend uses some of their stuff and I did too in the past. A lot of their products compare to high end salon so I decided to check it out. I grabbed this and the Damage Care shampoo. The day after I used it my hair didn't feel like straw but lacked a little something. In other words it isn't as deep conditioning as the Neutrogena Daily Deep conditioner but it's still really good. So the next time I stepped in the shower I used the damage care shampoo, the Neutrogena Daily Deep only on my ends, and then this conditioner on my entire head. My hair came out softer than my virgin hair used to be! Also this didn't leave me greasy until the *end* of day 2 (aka this good stuff is better than TRESemmé). I will forever be using this stuff even when my hair returns back to normal!
Note: did put it as a 4 because alone my hair does not feel like straw with this but it does lack some conditioning "oomph".

While my hair was relaxed/chemically processed, this was a really great conditioner. It helped my hair feel really soft, it was a great detangler, and stopped some of my breakage. Plus the smell is really nice.
Now that my hair is natural and there are 100% no chemicals in my hair, this is one of the worst conditioners for me. As soon as I put it on my hair it felt as if it was coating my hair (and not in a good way). That was most likely due to the silicones that are in the conditioner. There was absolutely no slip so I could not detangle my hair. Lastly, after rinsing it out my hair felt heavy, dry, and hay like. That was most likely due to the protein in here.
So I will not purchase this conditioner again!

I just began using this conditioner earlier this week. I've heard good things about the Suave Professionals line, but I've always been skeptical (terrible memories of suave products of childhood...yuck). I picked up a bottle of the Humectant conditioner and have been trying it out. So far, what I can say is that it is a surprisingly thick formula- contrary to the runny stuff I've used in the past that drips right out of my hair. The smell is yummy and fruity- but I know some people hate that (I enjoy it). After leaving it in for a couple minutes in the shower, my hair feels very very soft. I'm wondering if it perhaps makes my fine hair a bit greasy, though.
Not sure if I'll repurchase yet- co-washing with Vo5 has been great in the past and I may return to that system.

I bought this yesterday in Wal Mart for under 3 bucks. Tonight I decided to try it on my 4 yr old daughter's super curly, frizzy hair. After shampooing, I left it in her hair for a few minutes then rinsed it out. Normally, her hair is impossible to comb after a shower but I could easily run my fingers through her hair. It smells good and feels thicker (almost like Nexus, which was my fave shampoo and conditioner for years). Hair hair is soft and smooth now. I have used Suave in the past and hated it...it did nothing but dry out my hair even more but I may try it on my hair (dyed and flat ironed several times a week so it's fried). I think I will continue to use this for my daughter's hair because the kid shampoo/conditioners don't help with her super long, super curly hair.

Won't buy again because it's just too heavy and makes my thin, fine, straight hair really greasy. But somebody with thicker/wavy hair would probably love it. Smells just like their coconut shampoo/conditioner. I am finding that Suave shampoos are really great, but the conditioners just don't work for me. Bummer.

Great conditioner.
My hair tends to get dry, and this leaves it feeling very silky and sleek. I have layered bra-strap length, straight, fine hair, but a good amount of it. I apply this liberally after shampooing, only from about my ears down, and let it marinate for a few minutes. :-)
(It requires a decent amount of product to get great results, but it's so cheap that doesn't bother me a bit.)
When I rinse, I swash a bit over my scalp area, but barely any to keep it from weighing down. Blow dry and...Lovely, sleek hair the next day (I usually wash my hair at night).
The scent is on the strong side—sweet and cocounutty while I am conditioning, but it doesn't bother me and doesn't linger enough to cause any irritation or compete with perfumes or lotions.
For the few bucks I spent, it's a deal! I like to alternate it on days when I need a moisture boost. Will repurchase!

I hate this conditioner. I got it b/c the bottle says it's comparable to my old conditioner (Nexxus humectress) and b/c it was super cheap. I didn't even love the Nexxus conditioner so I think the price was a major factor in why I purchased it. Used it once and my hair felt like straw! HATE IT!!! I will be returning this ASAP. Don't waste your money. The price was great (around $4 US) but I will not be buying this again or any other Suave products.
EDIT: I use it to de-tangle my hair now but it's still not a good hydrating conditioner.

I was using Nexxus Humectant conditioner for a long time, and saw that this was supposed to be a comparable product. I've found that this does compare very nicely. It made my hair as nice and soft as the Nexxus conditioner! I don't mind the smell, but that said, I usually love fruity smelling lotions, etc. ^_^ Would and have repurchased.
