A review for the BLACK handle Blusher Brush.
Best blush brush ever! I wash it every week. The hair doesn't fall off. Great quality. Picks up blush very easily and does a great job blending because it's so soft. My search for blusher brush ends here:)
It's around $17something. Wait for the Target coupon if you plan to buy it. Usually it will save you $2.

Very good brush! I love Sonia Kashuk's line of makeup brushes. They work amazing and last for a good amount of time. I have had mine since December and it still works like new. The brissels have not fallen out at all. I got a set of 5 brushes from Target on clearence for $15 so it was a very good deal!

This is for the BLACK handled brush. (Sidenote: I find all the black handled brushes are worth the extra 5 bucks or so. They don't shed as much and will last a lot longer!)

I really like this blush brush! I'm not sure this is my absolute favorite (I also really like the blush brush from EcoTools). This brush sometimes feels a little too big to apply blush, but too small to apply all-over powder. I keep going back to it and really do like it, as it is very soft and does not shed.

This is a good blush brush, so far. It fits in my hand nicely, is soft, holds my blush powder well, distributes well, and in general seems like a good brush for the money.

After trying many different blush brushes(drugstore mind you), I have to say that this one is by far my favorite. I own the brush with the white handle and black bristles. I have had this brush for 5 years. So far I haven't experienced any shedding with this brush and it's still as soft as the day I bought it. Also very affordable which is a plus.

I've used both the white and black handled Sonia Kashuk blush brushes and they shared the same problem. They were great until the first time I washed them, then they began shedding. Worse than my cat. I was having to use yet another fluffy brush just to get the loose bristles off my face after applying my blush. WAY too annoying, especially for a fairly expensive brush. I won't buy this blush brush again. The other brushes in the line don't seem to have a problem with shedding.

I love finding great drugstore items! Picked this up at Target and found it to be very similar to the Ecotools brand. Lovely and soft, it picks up just the right amount of product for me (less concentrated) and gives a soft, smooth application. For the price you can't beat it! Great packaging, also. Sturdy plastic. Keep it for travel!

This brush did not seem to pick up my blush when I used it. The shape seems to be fine. It's soft and pretty good quality for the price. It just did not work for me, especially after I purchased a Sephora blush brush, and I was able to see a difference in application. I wish I could figure out why it didn't work. Perhaps it is the bristles used. I wash my brushes regularly, so I know it's not because it's dirty.

For a brush that shed's so easily, it's pretty pricey. When I first bought it, it was okay... nothing special but after washing it... this brush started to shed like crazy and the brush's dye on the brush kept coming off. Pretty uncool.

I've had this brush for a while but it didn't get much use because I was already using the ecotools blush brush and was happy with it. I started using this one day while that one was drying and, honestly, I haven't gone back. The bristles are very soft and fluffy and they pick up a nice amount of blush, but not too much which is important to me. I'm very fair and a little blush goes a long way, esp. the highly pigmented BB blushes I like. I guess this isn't really great for contouring because of its round, fluffy head, but it is great for apply a sweep of colour along the cheek bone and also for a pop of colour to brighten up the apples of the cheek. I also use it to sweep colour over my forehead, across the bridge of my nose, and a little on my chin. Great brush, highly recommended.
*It did have a little bit of a smell when I first opened and washed it but that went away and I no longer notice it and I have not experienced any shedding.

I truly love this brush...I have a mac contouring brush but I hardly ever use that. I use this brush to stipple and then buff my blushes...very awesome payoff.

I have two of these brushes because I love them so much. They are great quality and easy to find not to mention CHEAP. This is the only brush I use to apply my blush. Works great with my super pigmented Nars blushes. I pick up just the right amount of product and sweep it across my cheeks and up my temples. No streaking, no patches. Blends beautifully and makes all my blushes look so natural on me. I've heard the black handled SK brushes are better but I've never had the urge to try them since the white handled ones work great. There's no shedding or bleeding either. Just be to sure to wash these gently with baby shampoo. Love this brush! Check it out at your local Target.

PROS: It's not the worst I've ever seen/felt for blush application. Some really like her brushes.

CONS: The worst part is this was shedding immediately.

This is the best blush brush I have EVER used. Seriously fantastic. It sheds a little at first... at first as in the first year or so... I've had it for a while and it only just stopped shedding. For this reason I searched for another blush brush but came back to this one because... like i said... it's the BEST!

I am a huge fan of Sonia brushes. The quality is supurb for the price. I have purcahsed MAC in the past, and while I love those too, I am just as happy with these at less than half the price. I wouldn't bother purchasing anything else now that I own a foundation, powder, highlighting, and blush brush in this line.I don't have major shedding issues with any of them and they wash beautifully with liquid antibacterial soap. I also love the softness of the bristles agaisnt my skin. I apply my blush by using the tips of the bristles, then swipe on my cheeks at an agngled position. I have a smaller face for reference and don't care for large "blocks" of blush on my cheeks, so I use the tips of the brush for application which applies thinner....I can build for more intensity or apply once or twice for a soft look, which is what I typically go for. Btw...I own the white handled blush brush just for the record.

I love this brush! I purchased it at Target for around $10. It is my go to blush brush when I want a subtle blush of color. It's super soft which can be a good thing for some and a bad thing for others. Here's my breakdown.

Pros:
*Super soft- allows for a very subtle and light application of blush.
*Large and fluffy- again allows for a subtle and light application and/or layering of color(s)
*Cheap
*Sturdy- holds up well to weekly washings (I've had it now for about a year and it seems as good as new.)
*Love ergonomic handle.

Cons:
*Too big, soft, and fluffy if you want precise placement in a small area.
*Not ideal for contouring

Overall, for the price, I love this blusher brush and will repurchase if need be. I still use my other brushes if I want more control/more precise placement (i.e. contouring/highlighting). But right now, this one is my favorite.

I loved this brush but it's time to replace it and I will not be repurchasing. After 5-6 years of washing every week, it has held up well. However, it has lost so much hair that it makes my blush application splotchy. Not bad for a brush that cost $10 to last this long. Another reason why I won't be repurchasing it is because I now prefer something bigger and fluffier. I now try to achieve a natural flush of color vs. "I have blush on" look. It is a great brush if you want total control of exactly where the color goes.

Wonderful brush, with luxuriously soft bristles. Great for blush placement and blending color.
