I got this today. I guess I got the "new" stuff. My kiss gloss in chocolate fudge looks like a clear with shimmers in it. It does smell really good and it tastes like sugar on the lips. MMMM.
I think it has a real sticky texture to it but I kinda do like it in a way. The price was so right with this gloss. Definatly a great lip gloss!! :)

This is a review of the reformulated version. The old ones were gloppy and opaque. The new ones are sheer, shimmery and smooth. Love the formula.
This is the truest chocolate scent and flavour I have ever found in a lip gloss. It's HG material for that alone. However, this is far too brown on me and makes me look like I have dirty lips. It's sad, but that's okay. I use this when I'm alone and need a quick pick me up. The clear Cool Mint version is my everyday gloss.
If you have very pigmented lips and look good in browns, this is a great brown with gold shimmer. I could absolutely see this being a gorgeous gloss on the right woman.

I adore this stuff, I'd previously tried the clear version which I liked alot so based on the reviews here I picked up this one. It has a gorgeous chocolate pudding type scent and is a sheer caramel brown colour, it's not to shiny or shimmery so if you want more you can add a clear gloss on top. It makes a nice YLBB everyday gloss and it's only £1.99!

Edit: I forgot to mention that it tastes yummy too!

Very cheap and wonderful product. It comes very clear and leaves a very good shine. The taste is sweet and yummy. Not sticky or waxy feel.

This gives my light pink pigmented lips a little brown, muted gloss over it. Its pretty to wear without lip liner but if you wanted to add brown lip liner it would work too. It would also look good over a nude pencil for a softer nuder look.. I think I got a older one so the scent and taste isn't too great (plastic) but its ok. I'll probably try to get a newer one when I'm done with this.

I haven't met a gloss from NY Color that I haven't liked yet. This gives my lips a slight bronze tint and doesn't wash me out. The scent and flavor are lovely, it reminds me very much of Tootsie Rolls. The formula is not overly sticky and is nicely moisturizing.

I was browsing through a dollar store one day and I saw this lip gloss. I knew it was the older version becuase it was a really dark brown opaque color with no shimmer. I bought and I love the smell. It's like fudgey-chocolate. Goes on smoothly and it's pretty thick if you're used to thinner, more watery glosses. This is a lightly tinted gloss. I'm thinking of trying the newer version becuase I probably won't be able to find this one anymore.

I was lucky and got both the original and newer reformulated versions today. The old color was simply a darker, solid brown with suble shimmers, whereas the newer one is drastically lighter: a caramel brown with shimmers. To tell the truth, I don't really like the older color b/c it looks like mud on my very pigmented lips. However, I can't really pass judgement since my tanned, olive (NC35ish) face simply did not need any more brown on it - a mistake on my part. I give it lippies for being very pigmented, though! I liked the reformulated color better, but I was hoping for a lighter color than what showed up on my lips: it looked like I had put on clear lipgloss with shimmer in it. A little disappointing, as I was looking for something to replace my BonneBell Liplites in Metallic Mocha (a very slight milky brown). Also, the texture was not to my liking; sure it was sticky enough to stay, but not sticky enough for my preference (I love L'Oreal's ColourJuices). But, I can see how others would like it. Finally, these lipglosses do not part shine or gloss - I compared to my BB LipLites, and the difference is WAY off: the NYC Chocolate Fudge looks extremely dull compared to it. Final Verdict: Pros - love the smell!, texture is likeable (not greasy or too sticky), and price ($3), but Cons - no taste (I guess that can be good in some cases), no shine or gloss, and not a very good color for me. Will attempt other colors, because MUA has rarely guided me wrong! =)

This is one of my favorite glosses to use everyday. It's a little shiny, and leaves a choclatey moist look to my lips. When I want to darken it, I line my lips with a brown liner then smudge with the slanted applicator. Mmmmmm soo good smelling too!

The color is a slightly shimmery caramel brown. Okay for what it is, but not what I was looking for (something deeper and more chocolatey). I am not a fan of the synthetic chocolate scent/taste but it's not as atrocious as some lippies I've tried (i.e. Prestige Jetstream, Wet 'n' Wild Mega Color). Very cheap, though, at around 3 USD. You get a tube of gloss that is a sorta GWP-sized Juicy Tube and has a slanted tip. Rather impressed with that last feature in a DG product, but not enough to repurchase.

Another great Kiss gloss from NYC! Chocolate Fudge is a shimmery dark brown in the tube, but goes on a caramel ylbb shade with a yummy chocolate brownie type scent. Definitely a steal at under $3 and sometimes you can find them BOGOF!

To second another reviewer, this is a great gloss for pigmented lips! I've had it for a while, and the smell has never bothered me. I love it for toning down lipsticks that are too bright, though I usually don't wear it alone. Not quite sure about how long it lasts, but I will definitely be buying another when I run out. Edit: I saw this in Wal-Mart the other day, and I think they've changed the formula. The color looked lighter than the one I have now, I guess I'll have to find another HG nude lipgloss.

i would have never bought this, since it looks all brown in the package. but my sister let me try hers, and if you don't put too much on, it just kind of makes your lips look shimmery and sunkissed. it smoothes out the lines and tastes like chocolate fudge (incidentally, that is the name of the lip gloss, as well). it comes in a squeeze tube with a plastic tip, and is really cheap (less than $2). i would definitely get this again.

Awesomeness for $2.74!! I love this gloss. My boss was wearing it and it looked so pretty...so of course I had to ask what gloss she was wearing and she tells me its NYC chocolate something....so then of course I needed to buy it...and I'm lovin it!! This is another gloss that I love that I would have NEVER bought from the way it looks in the tube,(BeneFit's Kiss Me is another) it looks brown in the tube, but it looks fabulous on, like a bronze with a hint of shimmmer, very pretty, natural summer color. and its fairly long wearing (as far as glosses go). One thing you must know about this gloss is that its flavored.. sweet chocolatey flavor...But it doesn't bother me at all. I guess I'll have to thank my boss for this one : P!!

This is one of my all time favourite glosses... First purchased in NYC, for some reason they don't sell that flavour / colour in the UK. In total i've used about four tubes!!! Love the taste, the colour is gorgeous (a little too sheer) but priced at $1.99 who's complaining.

Love it!!!!

YUMMY!!!!! I'd been looking for a yummy chocolate smelling gloss and this is it! This is best when applied lightly. I am PPP/LLL and if I put more than 1 coat on it turns too dark for me. This has a golden coco glitter in it but you can't feel it on your lips. I love these cute tubes.

This is a great sheer brown that smells just like it's name. I wish the Lancome Juicy Tubes had this much color to it.

This smells delicious but tastes plasticky. Sad, I was hoping I'd found my HG chcolate flavored gloss. Wet 'n' Wild's "Truffle" fits that bill, BTW. However, this looks very pretty on- it's nicy & shiny and is straight brown, no nude or pink tones. I can't take the taste though. Why the hell can't they make it taste right?! It smells SO good!

This is a great lip gloss! It doesn't have a great taste, just a yummy smell. It tones down any too bright lipstick or lipliner perfectly. It also looks very natural and pretty by itself. I will definitely rebuy. The one downside is that the packaging is a little flimsy (no carrying around in pockets!).
