Pretty... but waaaaay too glittery. Nope, nope. Not worth the fallout and ruining the rest of your face. Very frustrating to work with. Would not recommend any of UD's glittery shades.

This was my first UD eyeshadow. Grifter is a beautiful and sparkly lilac shade which has an ethereal effect on my eyes. When I say sparkly, I do NOT mean shimmery. This has straight up glitter in it. Normally I would shy away from glitter but this glitter is very fine and snow-like. I feel like a fairy tale princess when I wear this shadow. The only reason I gave it 4 lippies is that the glitter fall-out is horrible. It stays put with the help of a good primer but even just removing this eyeshadow is very messy and leaves glitter all over the place.

The color is beautiful and alittle goes a long way, the shimmer is really beautiful (for me I wouldnt wear it for everyday looks) and as another reviewer said it really looks like fresh snow !

adorable color for people with medium/olive skintones or even darker skinned girls-basically anyone who has brown or dark eyes! great color payoff and cute packaging. shimmer is pretty and makes the eyes pop! pricetag is $$$....so it might deter me from using it in the future unless i realize i cant live without this product.

This is not lavender. This is a rather sheer, cool, light, slightly purpley pink, i.e. lilac, with lots of matching microglitter. I might conceivably repurchase this due to my love of cool pinks, but US$17 is pretty steep, particularly considering that I can probably find something a bit more purple, which I prefer, and that I already have this in two UD palettes (which I only buy because of the "ooh, shiny!" factor.)

I got Grifter in the Ammo Palette. It's a beautiful lilac lavender-y color. :) Looks pretty with my brown eyes. The glitter on this isn't the typical Urban Decay glitter. It reminds me more of how fresh snow looks. Glistening and shiny. :) I applied this shadow wet and PATTED it on. I didn't get any fallout. I paired this with Crash and it was super pretty. When I first saw this color in the palette I thought to myself that I would never wear it because it looked like a cool pink to me, which I can't really do cool tones very easily. But this is very pretty on! I'm excited to try this with more colors. :)

I completely agree with the other reviewers that said this is a must-have for brown eyed girls. It's such a pretty colour that it looks great just as a wash, and makes my brown eyes stand out. Sometimes I add a bit of purple e/l like UD lust, and it's such a simple, pretty look. I have no problems with fallout, just use a damp brush and pat it on.

I got this eye shadow in the Urban Decay 'Alice In Wonderland' palette.
This is an icy lavender with a fine glitter finish, which does lead to a little fall out.
This is a lovely colour but it doesn't have brilliant longevity and is a little translucent.
Look's good teamed with Urban Decay's 'Flash'.

This is a pretty light purple color. I do wish it was a little more pigmented like other urban decay shadows. It didn't stay as great as others either.

This is one of my first eyeshadow purchases. This pink-purple color really pops my eye color which is hazel. I don't use it a lot because I find other products more fascinating. For a fun or halloween look, I would use this color. I won't be purchasing this item again because it's not necessary.

This is my favorite color on my ammo palette!! Well, this one and maui wowie. I use it a lot, both of those colors have the biggest dents in them. =) Sometimes I wear it a few days a week!

I purchased this on my hunt for a wearable purple eyeshadow. I had read reviews that said this color was notorious for glitter and was a little apprehensive. But this color continues to surprise me each time I wear it! It comes off (over Bare Study Paint Pot) as an almost iridescent lavender, that sparkles softly in the light. I have found this to be very work-wearable and versatile depending on base and other colors used. My favorite combination thusfar has been Grifter on the lid, with MAC Satin Taupe (blended with a little UD Heist) in the crease, and UD Flash over an eggplant colored liner on the upper 2/3's of the lashline and the entire lower lashline. Simply Gorgeous.

Years and years ago i ordered this from sephora online.only to be totally disappointed and swap it away..well years later as i became more educated in makeup i got this in thee substantial palette and a few weeks ago finally decided to try it..and i must say im in LOVE.the key to this shadow is..layering on UDPP and my mac soft ochre paint pot..wet my brush just a tad and PAT not swipe the shadow on my lid.and VOILA a beautiful lavender sparkly shade.soooo pretty especially paired with ransom or last call.i have this in 3 palettes so far..so i doubt ill have to repurchade as a single anytime soon.

Bought the palette, as I love all the colours. But my fave has to be Grifter! Somehow, purple looks great on my lids, as opposed to pink, which is actually my fave colour. But like the rest said, beware of glitter fallout, and the first time I wore it, I totally didn't dust the glitter away and my whole face was like glitterati! And I wore it to work!
Fantastic colour to pair with other darker shades of purple. And I usually prep my eyelids with their primer potion first, so you don't need to pile on a lot to be able to see the colour. Will definitely buy the colour again in its individual pot, as it's already running out!

I really like purples on my lid, so I kind of like this eyeshadow. The thing I really don't like is all the glitter it has, just goes everywhere no matter how carefull I am applying it.

Sephora rep swatched this shade on her hand and I liked the shade, so I bought it in the single shade packaging; Big Mistake, because when I put it on my eyes at home (used a pony hair crease brush), I found that it had huge chunky glitters which fell out onto all over my face!! I was trying it for a daytime makeup, and on sunlight the glitters were just obnoxious. I had to run out the door, so ended up running scotch tapes over my face to pick up the glitters, but I still could see them several hours later. Arrgh. Returned the product to Sephora the next day. :(
So, to sum up: Chunky glitter fall-outs beware! Totally unwearable unless you want your face to look like a disco-ball. I wish UD releases the same shade without the glitters; the pinkish lavender shade is lovely and not easy to come by.

Kind of a sheer, boring light purple. Too much glitter! Would not repurchase.

I LOVE THIS!! It's a pinky purple, and you can play around with it and do so much! The glitter is beautiful, and the fallout isn't too bad. I'd recommend to anyone!

Surprise surprise I love this. I was in Sephora and did not know what I wanted. I told my husband to pick something and he came back with this. I bought it and it was a great pick on his behalf. I find it is very versatile. I can use it as an all over shadow with another color in the crease or I can use it to rim my eyes for a fun summer look. I love that it has the lightest amount of shimmer in it. It is never overpowering. The pigment is perfect. I never feel like I have to apply a ton of it. Very great shadow in a beautiful shade.
