I have been using panteen pro-v for about a year now. I loved that stuff at first. I made a big difference on my crazy dry frizzy hair. Slowly but surely my hair started to loose its curl and volume. I started getting what looked like dandruff (product build up) and my forehead was getting pimples and was red and itchy and sore. I read about how that product can build up and how using a clarifying shampoo and conditioner can help remove the build up. I wa skeptical that this wacky problem. It seemed too easy. I tried this and the shampoo and even in the shower I could feel the difference. My hair felt so clean. I didn't know how much the other product had built up. I got out of the tub and noticed my curl was back immediately. My curl pattern in ugly, but it heat styles well.. Anyway, this product got rid of the flakey itchy sore scalp and broken out forehead. It is wondeful for that. But if you are like me, you will have to use some deep conditioners to keep from having fried looking hair. I was just cursed with a fuzz ball on top of my head. Ha! But this and the shampoo are worth every penny. I plan to alternate between this and panteen pro-v for my hair type. Thank you suave for the wonderful product. It smells pretty good, too!

Awesome every day conditioner, although I do preffer Waterfall Mists over this. It's the one thing that my mother consistantly buys.... and she is probably the PICKIEST person on the face of the planet.

I showered at my boyfriend's place over the weekend, and since he uses product in his hair several times a week, he uses this shampoo and conditioner combo. I have an oily scalp and dry ends, and my hair has never felt cleaner or silkier! I let it air dry throughout the day and flat ironed it at night before going out. I was VERY impressed and surprised that SUAVE did this! I like Suave's Professionals line, but never expected their cheap clarifying shampoo and conditioner to leave my hair feeling WAY better than Dove, Garnier, Aussie, etc. The only thing I don't like is the smell... the shampoo is fine, but the conditioner smells a bit "dusty" to me? My hair itself smelled fine, though.

This is almost as good as Suave's wonderful clarifying shampoo, but not quite. It detangles and softens my color-treated hair beautifully without weighting it down, but falls short with respect to adding shine. But at the price -- well under 2 bucks for 22.5 ounces -- I won't complain. It's really a remarkable value and is a definite repurchase.

I loved this conditioner! It's lightweight enough that it didn't weigh down my fine hair, but did give it just enough moisture that it never got
static-y. It smelled very nice too. Not floral or fruity, just nice a fresh scent. I wish the scent had lasted longer in my hair though. But that's just a personal preference. And of course it's dirt-cheap and lasts! A 22oz bottle lasted me well over 6 months and that's using it pretty much every day. Great stuff. :-)

Love this for CO-washing. My hair is so silky and clean, but still very moisturized. My routine has been streamlined to co-washing with this and a little frizz serum. Now I have perfect hair, wavy or blown out straight! I've had many compliments already, and this is the first product I've used to co-wash. Good for beginners!

Just like the famous shampoo, the conditioner works just as good! I like how the conditioner is light weight, and helps detangle my hair. I will have to say I use more conditioner than normal than I do with other hair conditioners just because it is very light weight. If I use very little, it will feel I have nothing in my hair! Other than that, I leave it on for about 3 minutes, rinse, and im good to go!

I like the clarifying shampoo, but this just doesn't provide enough moisture. Guess its too clarifying.
I had to use a ton of this to get the right effect

This was perfect for CO washing and it was incredibly light on my hair without leaving any residue. It really seemed to enhance my curls and give them more body. I am a big fan of the matching shampoo, and was really impressed with the conditioner, but it was hard to locate. If you can find this, get as many bottles as possible.

This is a good conditioner, but I recommend using either this OR the matching shampoo unless your hair is so unreasonably oily that it doesn't need much moisture after being almost stripped. At any rate, this conditioner is extremely light, nongreasy and easy to rinse out. I like the scent - it's clean, but also very, very light. It goes perfectly with the matching shampoo. I really dislike stand-up bottles for products I use in the shower and would rather have a squeeze tube.

This is a pretty nice conditioner. It is dirt cheap and doesn't have an overpowering smell. I used this a lot when I was still doing the CO method. It didn't weigh down my hair and it made it very soft.

I am so impressed with everything about this product! I have been using the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette line for a couple months now, and if I don't wash my hair every day when I am using it, it gets greasy and disgusting. I was getting a nasty buildup of product on my scalp, and it was starting to flake off and look like dandruff. That is not cute.
So I decided to pick up a bottle of this shampoo and the matching conditioner. I figured I could use it once a week to remove all the buildup from my usual product. I have used it twice now, and the results were fantastic! The shampoo smelled nice, made a fanastic lather and left my hair VERY clean, but it certainly did not feel like it was dry like some other users have stated. Of course, I followed up with the clarifying conditioner, and that seemed to adequately remoisturize, and it did not leave a buildup. The shampoo and conditioner together made my hair super clean and super soft. My hair was very easy to comb through when wet, which is a result I rarely get, even with expensive salon brand conditioners.
You really cannot beat the price. I bought a family size bottle for $1.49 at Wal-Mart. That bottle will last me forever with only using it once a week. Also, I just colored my hair tonight (highlights and lowlights), and the color took exceptionally well. Much better than usual. I am attributing this to my use of the Suave clarifying products.
What a great find! Definite re-buy.

I forgot that I had nice hair! I actually had so much build up and oil in my hair that I forgot what it looked like. This shampoo and conditioner removed all of that in just 1 use. A great shampoo and cond. to use once a week to bring the life back. And so cheap! My hair is so oily that I didn't find it really drying, but if used frequently it would be.

I used this with the Daily Clarifying Shampoo and together they worked very well. Didn't have any buildup. I used the shampoo more often since I don't condition everyday. But it works well with other shampoos too.

I like this stuff. It's cheap, it detangles well, conditions, and doesn't grease up hair. I use it with Suave's Daily Clarifying Shampoo. I use it once a week because I use that shampoo once a week. Good stuff.

Cheap, decently conditioning, rinses pretty well, can be used as a shaving lotion in a pinch. I haven't been using it for that long, so I'll update if I have the build-up problems some have complained of. I use it with Johnson and Johnson Head-to-Toe Baby Wash, and that seems to wash pretty much everything out. For my coarse, curly hair, this works just as well as anything else for a lot less.
As far as hairstylists saying it's bad for your hair, I'd like to hear the rationale for this argument. There's nothing on the ingredients list of the conditioner (don't know about the shampoo) that would dry out hair. Certainly, it has the potential to cause a scalp reaction or breakout in some people, but so does just about anything. I say, if you love it and it works for you, why listen to someone else's opinion about it? Hair is not skin. Hair is dead. Even if there were some microscopic damage going on, it's not anything that can't be grown out and cut off. All I care about is how my hair looks and how easy it is to style. This conditioner satisfactorily moisturizes my hair and reduces static and frizz, and that's pretty much all I'm asking for.

Thank God, I finally found a conditioner that makes my hair soft but not greasy. I originally picked this huge bottle up to use for leg shaving, but tried it on my hair one day in the shower. My hair is chin length and I do have to use half a handful to get my fine, straight, colored hair combed out. That's the only downside. Other conditioners weighed my hair down or made it look greasy, but this is A-OK. I deep condition once a week (for my highlights) but this is perfect for everday. I use it in conjunction with a fortifying shampoo. I'm a product junkie so this isn't my holy grail (but close), I'm on the lookout for a product that gives these results without using such a huge amount of product.

I'm using this in the summer when I don't really need conditioner. Otherwise, this product would get a one lippie from me. It doesn't make much of a difference on me. A little bit, but combined with the miserable shampoo I need a lot more conditioner. I would not buy this again.

I use to love to use this. My hair is really fine and tangles easy so it worked great. I got my hair colored though and when I got it done the second time the person who did my hair told me it was really dry and brittle and asked what i used and when I said this product they told me it strips your hair of the oils. So i stopped using it but when the colored part of my hair grew out I used it again and it is fine. So I don't recomend this if you color your hair but otherwise I think it is just fine. I have used it for years.
