Tried a free sample of this product when my other Origins cleanser ran out and I was not impressed. The scent is a little too strong and leaves my skin feeling dry not fresh or clean.

I'm actually surprised that I like this. I half expected it to be too harsh and with oil-stripping properties that probably only teen skin could withstand. But I'm really glad I tried it. It is a thick, slippery gel that lathers really well. I only need the tiniest amount to get a really rich lather. I wet my face, squeeze a dab of the gel into my palms, add a drop of water and rub vigorously to emulsify before applying and rinsing - I think it's really important to lather it up in the hands because it's easier to both apply and remove as a foam, rather than trying to spread it around as a thick gel. I haven't tried it for makeup removal (and wouldn't), but I like it as an a.m. face wash and to refresh my skin in the evening after using a wipe-off cream cleanser. It's perfect for refreshing purposes as it's only on the skin for a short time before being splashed off with warm water, so doesn't get a chance to dry out my combination (normal cheeks, oil-prone T-zone) skin. I personally dislike the smell - and it's really strong (though vanishes once the cleanser is removed). And I dislike that it's sometimes tricky to dispense a small enough amount - literally a pea size is all that's needed. But I love that it really does brighten my skin. I know ingredients like papaya are renowned for their exfoliating enzymes, but I didn't expect to get such a brightening effect considering the product is on my skin for literally seconds (unlike cream cleansers I massage in for a minute or two to remove makeup.) My skin really does look clear and bright and feels extremely smooth to the touch.

This is just a pretty average cleanser, it does the job of removing makeup and sweat and it doesn't leave any greasy feeling or film behind, but it didn't really do anything to clear my skin or fade old marks, it also feels a bit like detergent, the texture, like you're washing your face with liquid hand soap, it smells good though but there's nothing really amazing about it and I wouldn't buy it again.

I suffer from mild acne that worsens during that time of the month so getting a cleanser that will not irritate my skin is extremely important to me. I ran out of my usual cleanser a week before I was going to go meet my boyfriend's family for the first time out of state and decided to try something new. I wanted to look my best! Two days after starting to use this product my skin started breaking out again. I thought it could have been the climate change (I am from SoCal and went to humid MI) and continued using the product a little longer. My breakouts got worse and the smell became unbearable. I figure that my skin is simply extremely sensitive to the fragrance in this cleanser. I would not recommend it to anyone with sensitive acne prone skin.

I really love this cleanser. I think it really does brighten my skin and it does a great job at taking off makeup. It's really foamy and it smells like fruity gummy bears, which, for me, is awesome. I love stuff that smells like that. It doesn't break me out, but it doesn't treat any pimples either, it's just really cleansing, I use it with my clarisonic, works great!

I really like the smell of this cleanser, and I really do see an immediate difference! There is something to be said for fruit acids (cough peel pads cough)! This is also really nice on my combo/oily skin :)

I waited a few weeks to review this product, seeing as most people seem to not like it :( which makes me a sadpanda, considering for me, it's a great cleanser. I was dealing with some seriously dull and acne ridden skin on my face, and I have to say... after using JUST this newly in my routine... my skin has cleared up 98%. No joke, I'm still amazed everytime I look in the mirror... after all the work and years of experimenting with cleansers and moisturizers and all that jazz, my skin is FINALLY clear... and it feels so nice :) I have also noticed my skin seems better colored, and some of my redness has gone down since using this cleanser. My skin is in the best shape of it's life, thank you Origins 8D
The only reason I am giving this product a 4/5 lippies is because the packaging seems to kinda... leak? A bit. It's odd, I store it rightside up but it seems to slightly leak out of the tube a bit into the cap, which can be slightly irritating when I pick it up to use it... and wasteful as well considering this is also the most expensive cleanser I have ever used :(

I likes this better than the other cleanser i have tried from Origins, but i am a fan of the never a dull moment scrub. this removed all of my makeup, and lef tme clean but not dried out and did not leave a film on my face. price is a bit steep for a cleanser, so i have migrated over the Dr Nick Lowe for the time being as it is half the price. But i may go back to this when i am out of my current bottle of cleanser.

Excellent face polisher. Mango and apricot seeds form the perfect combination of grittiness with scrubbing particles and cleanser to produce a highly polished/finished look. I use this in the shower twice a week or so in addition to my daily facial cleanser. Great results! My face appears brighter, smoother, and more radiant.

This is the best cleanser that I've had so far. A little drop of this product goes a really long way. I have very oily skin and when I use this product along with Orgins Oil Refiner Tonic, it leaves my skin very smooth. Ive also used this product when removing my makeup adn it works like a charm; better than any other makeup remover I've bought before. I wash my face twice when removing my make up, once with just the cleanser, and again with the same cleanser, just with a hand held brush. The one thing I would think would turn some people off is the smell of the Orginis products which contains an earthy tone to it. Personally, I dont mind the smell because of the results that I receive when using it. This cleanser has already fixed some of the damages that CLiniques 3 Step Process has done, while, keeping my upcoming and current acne down. I would definetly buy this product again.

This is by far THE worst facial cleanser that i have ever used!!! 1st of all it smells HORRIBLE, 2nd of all it dried my skin soooo bad (and my skin is oily) i had dry patches all over my face, my face started to peel, it was horrible! NO moisturizer worked on helping with the dryness :( Finally after two Longg weeks of using this nasty thing I switched to the Bare Escentuals facial cleanser and that is when my skin finally got better! :) NEVER AGAIN! oh and 3rd of all this thing is not worth the money!

i bought this product after reading reviews here . i have combination skin so i was looking for cleanser which make my skin tone even . but the horror start after first use only. i got pimple on my chin. at first it was just one so i thought may be its just normal but after using it for one week my chin was full of pimples specially around my mouth area. i stopped using it since 1 months but the problem is still there.. i am back to my old cleanser. and its doing its duty .. but i guess it will take sometimes for my skin to become normal... i will not recommand anybody to use it... if you have acne prone skin.

nothing great other than the smell. a regular scrub will probably do the job just as well.

A little goes a long way with this stuff. Often feels like you can't get it all rinsed off. I don't like the smell or the taste if it gets in my mouth at all.

I love Origins. It's one of the first product lines I really fell in love with. I like the way that this foams since I hate cream cleansers. Be careful when you squeeze the tube because it's easy to dispense too much product. This cleanser is good, but sometimes it leaves my skin feeling tight and dry. If I purchase it again, I will use it in the summer when my skin is oilier.

This didn't brighten my skin at all, even after using three bottles of it. I liked the fruity scent, although I'm sure it might not go down so well with some people. While it didn't break my skin out, it did leave me slightly dry after a while so I have since switched to an Avene cleanser. Won't go back to this again.

I probably buy this product again if I pass by the AAFES since is cheaper there. Pros is not full of chemicals like those design for combo skin and it smells nice. CONS for me the price and is easy to get more quanty than needed and you end up with tons of cleanser in your hands thus making more tricky to cleanse if your in the sink ( I use it to wash my face in the shower during the morning).
Overall . Since I live in the tropics I must say it does is job very well and doesn't provoke my skin to react with red blemish or over drying it. I use it along with a toner and a tinted moisturizer during the day( is not a solo job!!). And at night I alternate it few times a week with a facial scrub ( either Neutrogena's or Clinique's 7 days....). If it I were to buy it the only I would buy is if am running by and am passing by the AAFES 's shop since is cheaper there otherwise I use another brand but I like the fact that ain't that harsh and is getnle on combo Oily/sensitive skin.

I don't like this product. It's a big NO for combination oily skin. At first I thought it would be a good product like the Never A Dull Moment Exfloliator, but I was wrong. Its cleansing performance is not good. It leaves my face feeling oily. I threw it away before I finish the whole bottle. I won't repurchase it for sure.
