The tonner works as it should, but I have troubles with the spray application as it usually drops into my eyes and hurts. Also the skin feels itchy short after applying and doesn't go away that easy ....

I've been using this toner with the Lime balancing cleanser and so far I am very pleased with the results. I have oily/combination skin that is prone to hormonal breakouts and since using these two together my skin has been looking and feeling much better. Haven't had much result with toners before but find that this one shrinks my open pores. I agree with earlier reviewer about the slight sticky feeling after use, I found this at first too but it quickly goes away to leave my skin soft and smooth with zero trace of cleanser or make up. Skin feels fresh and calmed after use. Particularly nice to use at nightime because of the lavender smell.

(Edit: This review is for the Balancing Lavender Toner but as it's the only Balancing toner in the Elemis range( In the UK anyway) and used with the Lime Blossom cleanser, I guess we mean the same thing :-) )

i like the fact that it is a spray and it is economical. i just found it a bit to scented and overpowering. i felt that my skin was a bit tight after using this and a bit dried out. i would recommend trying the small 50ml size first. i like the fact that it contains lavender. i will stick the the apricot one for sensitive skin as i found this more refreshing and better for my skin.

When I first tried this toner I thought it was awful. It left a sticky residue on my skin that made me feel like I needed to rinse my face with water.

However, after five or ten minutes the stickiness disappears, leaving my (oily, easily irritated) skin feeling smooth and clean and wonderful.

It would have got a five if that stickiness didn't happen at all!

This is a spray toner, which gives out a very fine mist, so it is incredibly economical. it smells divinely of lavender, and does not dry my skin out.
