Really like this product, have been using it everyday for about 2/3 months and I have really noticed an improvement in my skin, my acne has really reduced. Very happy with the results. Pricey but I think this is one product that is worth the money.

To start off, I love Elemis products so it's no surprise that I am giving this one a good review. The cleanser and toner (Lavdender) duo worked great with my oily skin and smelled lovely and natural. I have now moved on to the fresh skin range, for teens to twenties. Once my bottle of lime blossom cleanser ran out, I did switch to a different brand, but mainly because I'm always wanting to try new skin care products, not because I wasn't happy with Elemis, I wish I had just stuck with this one, as it really did improve my skin, but when I saw Elemis' new fresh skin range had been release I thought I would give it a try, a bit off the point, but this is a great range from Elemis, which I would highly recomend...will be sticking with Elemis skin care for the foreseeable future x

It's a ok product. As a cleanser, it does the work, it remove the make up easily, also eye makeup. But I never tried with waterproof mascara, coz I don't use.
The price is ok for me, as I got it together with a Lavander toner, so it costs half the original price. (I like to try new things when they are half price). But it's still not dirt cheap. Also at the beginning I was looking for a good toner, not a cleanser.
This november, I went on holiday with my mother in law, I used her cleanser, it's called VENUS, an Italian brand, dirt cheap in the supermarket, about 4euro for 200ml. And this cheap cleanser does even better job than ELEMIS.
So, don't waste your mondy on ELEMIS, it's a rubish brand. I always believe more expensive skin care products works better, but ELEMIS is rubish but costs a lot.
I have tried 4 products of ELEMIS, they are ALL RUBISH.

Firstly, I love the feel of the packaging- that might sound weird but the soft rubber is oddly comforting! This cleanser is very gentle on the skin. I bought this as I have been suffering lately from pregnancy related acne- nightmare! The kind that won't budge no matter how much you drench it in salicylic acid based products. After a week of using this cleanser day and night, my skin was left feeling smooth, redness greatly reduced and less congested. I love how simple and effect this product is. Highly recommend this.

I bought this product while on a cruise. It was a product used during a facial at the spa.
At first it was strange to wash my face with this product. It has a creamy consistency, with absolutely no foaming.
When used with the toner, this product really delivers results.
My redness and dryness diminished to the point where I can walk out of the house with no concealer or powder.
I have had very few pimples, mostly whiteheads.
Pros
Gentle, Balancing, Soothing, Non Irritating
Cons
Leaves residue if not followed by toner, Best for dry skin
Its expensive but lasts a long time, and you dont need much to cleanse the face. I wear a full face of makeup and this gets most of it off.

This product was a present from my mum, but since I have started using it, my spots have returned and my pores have become huge. This is the only reason I will not be using this particular product again. However, it smells gorgeous and feels great when I put it on my skin. I also like that it locks when the head of the pump is twisted, so I can take it with me when I'm staying away for a night or two, and I know that I won't end up with everything covered in it. I would recommend it for normal skin, not spot-prone skin.

I am now on my second bottle... I really like this cleanser... My skin has cleared up alot since using this product.... I had alot of redness on my cheek area and spots due to my acne which are all gone now after using this..I prefer washing this off rather than using a hot cloth or cotton pads...... I follow up with the Elemis Lavender Toner and elemis moisturiser...

This product is fantastic. The smell is almost addictive and texture very comforting. This is definitely my favourite cleanser.

I love this product as well as most of the Elemis range that I have tried. I have acne prone skin and this worked a treat. I melts off all of my makeup including heavy mascara. Elemis do not make a separate eye makeup remover as you can use the cleanser to do this.
All Elemis cleansers are water soluble so it can be removed with water. I have Elemis mitts that I take mine off with but you could always use a flannel.
You should always follow up with the toner as this corrects the PH level of your skin to 5.5. In fact whenever your face comes into contact with water you should apply the toner.
The first time I used this product I was amazed at the results. I was lazy and would more often than not sleep in my makeup! I don’t do this now as I find this product a pleasure to use. I use 4 pumps into my hand, warm the cleanser up in my hands then apply all over my face a neck and eyes and massage in. I spend a little extra time on my eyes to remove the mascara. Follow by the Tri Enzyme facial wash then Lime Blossom Toner. Same in the morning. LOVELY!
I think it is a fair price for the quality of the products.
I wouldn’t recommend buying any Elemis products on auction sites as you don’t know if the product has ever been opened. With only a 6 month shelf life once opened it could be a complete waste of money and you will not get the full benefit of the ingredients used to make such a fabulous range.

I was went on a cruise a few weeks ago and was recommended this product. I have very sensitive skin that is acne prone and I haven't broken out since. Of course I get the occasional pimple here and there, but nothing like before. Just a year ago when I started college, I started getting breakouts on my cheeks which was weird for me because I don't even remember ever getting a pimple on my cheek. Just on my forehead and nose area. I've tried so many products and they just made it worse. I've tried pretty much every drugstore brand and my mother has spent so much money for me on high end products, but nothing worked.
Anywho, it smells amazing and I hope it keeps working for me. On the bottle it says to apply and wipe away, but I noticed that it left my skin greasy. So I just wash my face like normal and then remove the excess product. I see a few people use the lavender toner and I am quite intrigued. I use witch hazel, but it smells so bad and I kind of want to change it.

I was recommended this product on a cruise last year. I love it. Some people have complained about burning so I suggest you be careful if you have sensitive skin but it works. It's not a miracle worker but it does what it's supposed to and I'm personally fond of the smell.
I think the problem is that everyone's been using it as a milk cleanser. The spa lady on the boat said that I should use it as a normal cleanser. Two pumps and then rinse off. That's how I've been doing it and it works fine for me.
It is pretty expensive though and there are a lot of other options out there. I've tried kiehls and some others though and this doesn't clog me up or do anything else to my, admittedly tough, skin. Give it a try if you're at the end of your rope. I personally really like it.
(And don't use it as eye makeup remover - I don't think it's meant for it.)

I have problem skin, prone to acne and rashes, dry in the winter, but really oily when it's hot and humid and worse, I also now have to contend with wrinkles. I have been using Kinerase Gentle Facial Cleanser, while it is not great, it does no harm, which after having tried so many other products, is all I want. Lately, though I've discovered Elemis, the serums (Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing and Liquid Radiance Cell Renewal) works great for me. Since I'm nearly out of my cleanser, I consulted with the aesthetician about a cleanser and she recommened the Balancing Lime Blossom Cleanser. First thing I noticed when I used it was the smell, it was too strong for me and I knew I was in trouble and I was right, even as I was massaging the cleanser into my face, I could see tiny red dots appearing on my face, especially around my nose. I wiped it off as directed and I must admit, that my skin felt really soft, not stripped dry. I decided to hang on to it, but I used it only at night. Luckily, I still have some Kinerase. So, I kept to my routine, Kinerase in the am, and Elemis at night, I was hoping that eventually my skin would get accustomed to the product and stop reacting to it. Unfornately, after two weeks, Elemis still causes irritation and redness and red the dots, invariably turn into tiny zits. I decided to give up on it and I'm now looking around for something else. This time, I've decided to go organic, I just placed an order for Saaf Organic Pure Face Cleanser. Last weekend at Sephora, I got a small tube of Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, which felt great on my face. Keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully, I've found the perfect facial cleanser. :)

This a great milk cleanser and really good way to cleanse the face without removing essential oils the face needs in order to stay healthy and ward away blemishes.
The scent is fabulous- light smelling, but unique- and is a nice companion to the Lavender Toner.
Great way to have good skin, but still a bit expensive considering shipping prices and exchange rates with the US.

Recently switched to this cleanser along with the lavender toner. Find I have to rinse skin with water after wiping with damp cotton wool just to make sure I have washed it off properly as it does make my eyes sting a little although I use a seperate eye make up remover. My oily/combination skin has been behaving far better since using this and looks much clearer. Along with the toner my large pores around my nose disappear and I no longer wake up with a oil slick on my t-zone. Cheeks feel smoother and softer than they have done for a long time. Overall this is a big hit with me. Only downside is that I would prefer it to be a rinse off cleanser and maybe a little stronger for taking off nighttime make up. Like it though and going to buy the moisturiser and facial scrub in the range tomorrow.

This cleanser is suitable for young, sensitive, acne-prone/congested, combination skin types. That is exactly me! This cleanser is really helping my skin along with the other elemis and la therapie products i am using along with it. both elemis ad la therapie are natural brands using plants and essential oils.

i had wanted to try this for a while so i bought a 50ml size. the texture is nice and it does smell nice but it is a bit too strongly scented for my liking. when i applied it it made my face sting and i have oily/blemish prone skin that is not normally sensitive to products. i usually use liz earle cleanse and polish. it is stated on tv demos that it my be used to remove eye makeup but i would not advise this due to the heavy scent and the fact it made my face sting. i found that it did remove my makeup but my face felt very tight after use. i do not recommend for women with very sensitive skin.

I had this used in a Spa on me, my face turned out wonderful so I decided to buy the products they used (£16 each for 200ml bottles) I have combination skin and this with the toner is just wonderful for it! Doesn't irritate, doesn't leave redness, nothing! My skin is always nice and smooth when I use this, rather than the dry spots or oily spots that make my skin look uneven. Can't wait to use this in the winter.

Smells lovely, great packaging, but it stings like acid on my face (and I've not even got sensitive skin!).
