I naturally have really horrible skin. My skin is so oily that after five minutes of applying my makeup, my eyeliner decides to explore other areas of my face, gving me raccoon eyes. I saw this mask in Bath and Body works so I of course, decided to give this a try. I applied it at night, and it was sticky. Like honey. Very hard to spread out over your face. One thing I really like is that it kind of tingles, you know? So I waited fifteen minutes (when it's dry, you shouldn't be able to smile), and peeled the sucker off. One thing about it is, you can never cleanly peel it off. There's always little pieces of it left on your face. It did a decent job of cleaning out the surface of my skin, but not my pores really...So I ended having to take out my favourite face scrub and like, scrub all of the residue and dead skin off my face for a better finish....It doesn't do the job of "gently" pulling out blackheads, but it pulled out other things...Such as lots of dirt. But if you don't mind scrubbing your face afterwards, this mask is actually quite nice.

Contrary to other comments, I found that it didn't hurt at all when I peeled it off, nor was it messy to remove. I actually like the scent of this mask, it smells like tea tree oil and berries to me (which is what they were going for... I think). In any case, I recommend you to use this only if you have oily skin. I'm combination skin, so I only use this on my nose - the most oily area on my face.

I got a little trial size of this. It has a strong alcohol smell, and it's really hard to rub. It was also really difficult to peel off. I always ended up having to wash my face a few times, sometimes with a washcloth. Ouch! It does make me skin glow though, so it's not entirely horrible, but I just wish it had a better smell and consistency.

well, it did a good job of getting off nasty, flaking skin and taking care of hormonal breakouts, but it was messy to remove, you had to put gobs of this stuff on to get it to be removed better, and it was hard to rinse off without scrubbing. There are better and cheaper peel-off masks out there.

I read the comments here and there are a lot of different opinions about this product. I am one of the people who absolutely loves it! I tried queen helene's grape seed peel off mask, but that's nothing compared to this. It gives you a nice tingly feeling when you apply it, and when you take it off, your skin feels so soft. I def. recommend it!

I used to LOVE this product and used it all the time. But in the winter when the air got drier, it actually peeled my skin off! I gave it another chance and it happened again. Not only was it really painful but it looked horrible! I gave it two lippies because I may try using it again in the summer, but after the experience I had, I doubt it.

This is my HG pore mask. I don't find the smell overpowering like many masks. It does not take long to dry and yes, it's difficult to get off if you lay it on too thin. It does hurt some when taking off, but not as painful as suggested by other reviewers. This shrinks my pores down to barely noticable. I use it about every two weeks or whenever my face is looking overly greasy with huge pores. I always use the Everlasting Flower Moisturizer afterwards and my skin never looks so beautiful.

on the contrary to other reviews, i liked this mask. get ur make up off before hand and make sure to let it dry completely so when u touch it, it doesnt feel wet. then it wont peel off in tiny peices. its a great gentle exfoliator and leaves my skin very clean, smooth and dirt free. just put on some moisturizer afterwards and my skin is happy.

I've used this mask about 10 times in the last 4 months or so, each time I hope I'll decide I like it, but that hasn't happened yet. I agree with the other reviewers who say that the only thing it removes from your face is peach fuzz. I have yet to see any dirt or blackheads come off when I peel the mask. Also, peeling can be challenging at times! It comes off in tiny shreds and takes forever. I guess I'm not impressed.

I use this once or twice a month. Leaves your skin very tight -- must use moisturizer after. Peeling hurts a little bit with all the peach fuzz on my face but I love all peel masks! Leaves skin feeling very clean.

HOLY COW! *THIS* is a peel off mask. I have used Elizabeth Arden's Peel and Reveal for a year or two, but this mask takes the cake. It actually dries so tight it makes it tough to move your lips lol. I use this only every other week or so, as i can't imagine it is gentle in any way but it sure is satisfying. I love it.

I bought this product as a stocking stuffer for my Husband. I decided to give it a try myself. I wuldn't if I had know that I would need to take Pain Medication to take this off.

This is probably the WORST FACIAL MASK I have ever used. It took nothing off my face other than fine fine facial hair. I wouldn't recommend this to someone with Teflon coated skin and definately not for anyone with sensitive skin.

It goes on extremely sticky, even plastic like. If I see this in the store again, I will run away.

Don't waste your money please.

See other reviews under "Beauty Is Only Skin Deep: Pore Refining Peel Off Facial". I love this mask. Really tightens my pores, although it hurts a little when peeling it off. Smell's not great, but it doesn't bother me.

This mask is terrible. It has a very strong alcohol scent, and it stings. It is useless and doesn't clean up anything.
