My husband uses this scrub also. Works well for us both despite me being combo skin and he's dry.
Good price and non offensive scent.

I used this scrub early this morning. I had a sample packet of it. I don't know what's taken me so long to use it! This stuff's really good for my skin and although the granuals ARE abrasive, they get the job done. Just don't used that much pressure while scrubbing and it should be fine. I won't purchase this right away, seeing that I already have two Olay scrubs waiting in the wings but once they're done, I do believe I will purchase this.

I typically don't like grainy exfoliators, but this was rather nice. It left my face feeling soft, smooth, and without dry, flaky skin. I hated the st. ives apricot scrub because the granules were way too big, but the granules in this exfoliator is much more fine and homogenous. I loved it! I'm still deciding whether or not to buy this, just because 15 dollars is quite a bit for an exfoliator of this sort.

I really like this scrub. It doesn't always feel clean after your wash it off, so you should probably cleanse with your normal face wash after using it.

This makes my skin feel really soft after using it and at first I did break out a bit the next day or so but now that rarely happens. I found this works great before "clear improvement" by origins or nadm face scrub.

I've most recently been using this as a spot treatment...stay with me here! I've found that if you have a little whitehead or one of those not quite ready to pop spots that will likely rip your skin and scar it if you attempt any kind of extraction. You can use this to speed up the process. If you rub a little of this scrub on I find it creates a little tear in the weakest part of the blemish and you can then gently empty the rest of it out with slight pressure using cotton pad or cloth. I find it keeps your pore in tact, creating a pinpr, as if you force or rub too hard, it can remove more excess skin creating a big scab.

I wouldn't recommend any aggressive rubbing when washing off this scrub. I find the gentle approach is the best.

Yes, this is very course, but it gets the job done. I only get it as a sample with my Deep Cleansing Oil order. I wouldn't order a whole bottle of this. My skin does feel very, very soft after using it, but it hurts a bit due to the large grains.

I tried it when I was a teen and I thought it was an alright scrub. I don't know why but my skin is getting more senstive as I'm getting older, I tried it at my friend's the other day and my face was like burning. It's way too harsh for me now. I gave it 4 lippies b/c it's better than many other scrubs in the market. If you have normal skin you should give it a try.

I received this as a sample in a catalogue a couple of weeks ago and decided to test it out last night. I really loooooved this. I only tried this once I may still, but so far I am digging the squeaky clean feeling my face has. My make up looked way better this morning (as might be expected after not exfoliating for over a week...gross!). I used only about half the pouch I received in the mail so I will give this another go and maybe ask for a couple more samples with my next DHC order before buying a tube of it, but I am optimistic so far. :)

Love this scrub. The apricot seed grains are large enough so that I only have to use this twice a week for great skin. There's no strong fragrance to irritate me. It's not as thick as the St. Ives's scrub so I find that it's easier to work with and a smaller amount goes a longer way. Hope that DHC doesn't discontinue it. It's not for sensitive skin so those with it, beware. Try a sample first - DHC is great about those.

I was surprised at the instant improvement of my skin after using this scrub. My skin was glowing and felt smooth. but be careful not to overdo it especially if you have sensitive skin as this scrub contains tiny particles of real apricot seeds. I'd purchase this product again.

Very grainy - which is not what I was expecting so I had to go easy on my skin because its quite senseitive after using exfoliators.
Was very light and smelt okay but was too abrasive so just 2 lippies., unfortunately. Was expecting something better from DHC

I rarely use scrubs but after a recent bout with pneumonia my skin looked awful. I had a couple of samples of this and gave it a try. The results were fantastic and I felt and saw those effects for several days after I scrubbed.

For reference, I am 57, slightly oily and dark skin. While I would not purchase this product full price, I would from time to time give it a go.

I had a sample of this stuff and tried it. Way too harsh/abrasive. It felt like I was using gravel to wash my face.

Just blah although the silver color is kind of interesting! To me this was too harsh. It was kind of like St. Ives apricot scrub in terms of the size of the granules. There are much better scrubs out there. Next...

I really like the aftermath of this scrub.. it gives a squeeky feeling and gets all the gunk out in your pores. I have acne prone, uneven skin, and enlarged pores. Immediately after, I can see my pores shrinking and my complexion, brighter, and acne swelling down. My face feels really nice and smooth, however the particles are too abrasive so one lippie off. I couldn't stand it after about 30 seconds of scrubbing, also my palms stung a bit too. Luckily I don't have sensitive skin but I would imagine what this scrub will do for sensitive people. lol The smell bothered me at first and I thought it wouldn't work, however when i washed it off.. i instantly knew it would work. So, it's a small price to pay for clean, smooth, and refreshed skin. If this wasn't too harsh, I'd say it would be my HG! Also, this is good for men's too because it's very deep cleansing and heavy duty. All the scrubs that are too harsh for either me, my sisters, or mom... we'd just give em to my dad. lol He really likes it and it saves a ton of money on buying a different line for "mens" So i'll probably convince my dad to buy this and share in a couple washes every now and then. =) It really works in achieving that clear, smooth, baby soft skin! Warning: don't try this if you have sensitive skin.

Holy futuristic scrub! I was so shocked when I opened this and a silvery, metallic substance was found. I liked this, it brightened up my complexion and my skin feels quite smooth. I didn't feel that it was too harsh for my skin.

I just tried a sample of this the other night and loved it. My skin felt like a baby's bottom after I rinsed it off and I intend to order it tonight and use it a couple of times a week from now on. A little goes a long way and it's just perfect for combination skin like mine. Smell is nice, rinses off well and feels great for hours!

I tried a sample of this, and found the particles too coarse. It felt way tooabrasive on my skin, even though I massaged very lightly. There are much better facila scrubs out there-I will be sticking to my LM face polish for now.

I´m so glad I tried a sample of this before buying. It is too rough and scratchy for sensitive skin. I will not buy it or use it again.

This is great. Anyone who uses St. Ive's Apricot Scrub, stop! Even if you're not concerned about what ingredients are actually in St. Ive's (and if you are concerned, definitely stop using it), this is a great alternative that works even better. Plus, it's really not that expensive. (Buy it on ebay if you want to try it and can't swap for it, and don't want to pay DHC shipping). I used to use St. Ive's (though I heard they changed the formula in the last year or so?), but stopped because it did nothing for my skin besides tear it apart, not sure if that's the product or just my sensitive skin. This is great, non irritating, and feels and looks great. My favorite part about this product is that you don't have to use a lot to cover your entire face. At first you want to use a lot, but then you realize after using it for a while that less really is more with this. You scrub it in just using your fingers (or, if I feel extra spa-y, I use a facial brush or facial wash cloth), and it feels wonderful, like your skin is waking up. If you're a scrub user, swap for this or try a sample. You can get sample lots on ebay, free samples with a DHC order, or I have some samples if you want to try it. It's great! :)

This is a great manual exfoliator. It has just enought round granuals to be effective, but not to many to cause microfissures in the skins epidermis. I have tried alot of scurbs (they're my favorite) and I like this and Epicruen's the best. Light smell if any and a great value for the price.
