My hair is very thick, with the top layer being fuzzy and wavy/curly (a nightmare some days). I use this to relax the top layer mostly ... not as a true straightener per se, but more to tame the mane. Works great for me.

i have wavy hair that gets frzzy unless i put something in it. this product works to straighten my hair, keep the frizz at bay while keeping my hair soft to the touch but with hold. it doesnt make my hair stiff like some of the other things that ive used. the smell is faint, the pump dispenser keeps things clean. its pricey for the amount that u get, esp if u straighten ur hair alot. i would buy this again some other time but i like to experiment, and im looking for a similiar product with hair conditioners.

I got a 2 oz sample of this product in a swap and since my hair is naturally wave, I decided to test it out. It's more of a gel than anything, which surprised me! Most straighteners are creams.
While this did to a nice job helping me blow dry my hair straight, I felt it made my hair heavy and stick together. =(

I'm always looking for the HG straightener/frizz fighter to use in humid summer weather. I have color treated, naturally wavy hair, which is pretty easy to blow straight, it's keeping it straight that is the problem. I have side swept bangs, and they always curl up in a bad way when the humidity hits.
I bought the trendline staightener online (goldwellonline.com) and it was about 18 with shipping. They included a little travel brush with my order. The product is in a pump, so you can leave it on the counter when you dispense it. It is a clear gel-like product. I use about one pump and distribute before blowing out. Then, I add a smaller amount on my bangs when they are dry, then pull them with a round brush and blow dry just the bangs again.
Today, it is raining, and despite the humidity, my hair still looks smooth. Most impressive is that the bangs have not done any flipping or frizzing!
I prefer this product to ones that are greasy (like waxes), it is not slimy at all. It also rinses very clean (I do no-shampoo every other day, and the product still came out). I highly recommend this one!
