great moisturizer for oilier skin types. i think my favorite thing about this product is the way it smells...so fresh! it makes my skin feel really smooth, soft and supple but i did notice that it balls up when used as a primer under certain (but not all) foundations. overall, great stuff!

As mentioned in some of the previous reviews, this lotion is definitely not for everyone - but for those of us with oily acne-prone skin, it really is the best thing that ever happened. However, they just discontinued it. Anyone have any suggestions for good, really light moisturizers? I'm still searching!!!

Fresh's Milk Face Lotion works really well for my skin type and my needs. I don't usually wear sunscreen, as I'm usually either indoors or in the car most of the time. I know I should all the time, but I don't. So having a moisturizer made for my type of skin plus a bit of sun protection, six times my skin's natural sun protection, is a wonderful thing for me. I also love that this lotion doesn't break out my acne-plagued skin. I have combination skin that is being treated with very drying Retin A and Duac, so I need something light and oil free. This Milk Lotion is exactly what I've been looking for to lightly moisturize my face when it gets too dried out. I din't really notice a smell, and it didn't bother me. I also like the packaging with the pump. I hate digging my fingers into a pot of face cream or otehr products, therefore I love pump dispensers. The price is quite high for the tiny bottle, but I love the product and packaging, so I will definitely buy it again. Retails for $45 for a 1.6 oz bottle. Description: "Oil free. Unites high-performance milk and micro-sea algae in an oil-free formula that provides customized hydration and balance. Umbrian Clay and oat kernel extract absorb and balance. Porphyridium cruentum, the concentrated micro-sea algae first used by Fresh, is proven both to deliver moisture and to be self-adjusting. SPF 6. Beneficial for normal to combination complexions."

I used to use La Mer and have switched to this. No breakouts. My skin doesn't get as oily and my complexion is radiant.

This product seems to be targeted at a very specific skin type. I have enjoyed it very much - It goes on smoothly and doesn't create shine. The SPF is an added bonus, even though I'm allergic to sunscreens ;) However, for those with combination skins it doesn't moisturize very well, so using it with another product would work best. Since it is so light and easy, I haven't had any problem using it all over my face and then hitting problematic areas with another product. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with dry or normal skin, but for people with oily skin this is a godsend.

I agree with the previous reviewers -- what a disappointment! This lotion has a very strange smell (pickles??) and the consistency is a little odd, too. I gave up using it on my face and tried to use it up as a hand cream, but didn't even like using it on my hands!!

I received a sample of this from Sephora. I got about 4 days use out of the packet. What I liked about this lotion is that it held it's ground with the Miami heat and didn't make my t-zone oily--Big plus.. What i didn't like is that the SPF is way to low especially in the miami sun.. The scent was that of floral cucumbers.. The scent did fade fast so it didn't bother me too much. Not worth the money. I'd use it again if it was a sample but would never buy this.

I totally agree with everything the previous review says about this product. Odd smell, runny consistency, leaves an icky film on the face, and frankly it doesn't moisturize very well at all. And what's with the SPF 6? SPF 6 is not strong enough to protect you from the sun - so why bother including it at all? All and all - this product is just another over priced, mediocre product from Fresh.

I can't believe I spent over $40 on this... First off, the smell is weird, kind of milky but herbal at the same time; not exactly pleasant. The texture is VERY watery and for some reason the bottle from the first squirt has felt empty. Every time I go to use it I keep expecting nothing to come out. Also, the top of the bottle was a real pain to put back on so I just threw it away.
The biggest problem I have is that it takes alot to moisturize my face and once I do I have that "spf lotion" kind of glaze.
I will say that it didn't break me out which is the one reason its not in the trash right now.
Would never ever, ever, EVER buy this again.
