It is a complete waste of money as it doesn't do anything that a much cheaper product (such as a similar Nivea product), wouldn't do. It requires too many rounds of application before the makeup is entirely gone. Plus it really dries the area around the eyes. The only 2 perks are it does not smell or contain parabens but these aren't properties I couldn't find in a different product. Definitely not repurchasing.

I've been using this for years. I don't use it for makeup removal.. I use it to create a crisp edge when doing a winged eyeliner look! I hate how the oil based makeup removers leave a residue that can smudge the rest of my eyeliner. This one is just like water, only better! Gets the perfect line everytime! NO eye irritations either. I have contacts lense on all the time.

I liked this remover. I didn't experience any of the burning or irritation other reviewers mentioned, but my skin isn't that sensitive, so that's probably a factor. It's oil-free, so you're not left with a greasy film, and it's one of the only removers I've used that easily takes off Benefit "They're Real" mascara. This removes everything quite quickly and thoroughly, which is great. My only issue with it is the price, as I can't really justify spending $20+ for an eye makeup remover (this one was a generous sample in the January 2012 Clinique Topbox). If I ever found it on sale or at a discount, I would purchase it again.

Don't buy this product. For the same price, you can buy the purple bottle from Clinique. The purple one is way better than this blue one. Although you have to mix the oil and water layers, the purple one does its job; it thoroughly removes all the makeup that you put on your face. On the other hand, the blue one can only erase some eyeshadow and leave my black eyeliners on my eyes only to give panda/raccoon eyes. It doesn't completely remove all the makeup. Before I tried the purple one, I thought this blue one was so good because it didn't leave greasy feeling&didn't have to shake it at first. However, I was so wrong!!! Don't ever buy this blue one again.

This eye makeup remover was disappointing. I have been looking for a good eye makeup remover that does not require a lot of product or rubbing to get makeup off. The rinse-off eye makeup solvent is the worse one I've tried. I can get more makeup off with soap and water. There were a couple of perks that I wish more makeup removers would have: it wasn't greasy feeling and there is no strong scent. It also did not burn my eyes even though I had to use a lot of product. Still, I will not be repurchasing since it doesn't work that well.

Awful, this is no better than water....worse actually because my eyes sting and burn after using, it irritates the entire area and makes it such an ordeal to remove eye makeup. For a product designed for eyes I found this terrible and should not go anywhere near the eye, I have liked Clinique's "Take the Day off" makeup remover, so this formula is just not for me.

I'll start by saying I love how non-greasy this remover is-- it does a decent job taking off my makeup but isn't anything amazing. It takes quite a bit of product to actually get all of my makeup off but if I use too much it tends to burn my eyes a bit.

This is a very gentle eye make-up remover. I put just a little of this on a cotton ball and then I rub that gently over my eyes to remove my mascara and eyeliner. I does a great job. Then, after removing my make-up I do wash my face off. This remover has no fragrance, which is what I prefer because I do have sensitive eyes. My mom loves this make-up remover as well. When we get a new bottle, we will split it in half into two bottles. If your willing to invest a bit more money into a make-up remover, then I would highly suggest this one!

Got this as a GWP and have been using it to try and take off my eye makeup at night. I like that it doesn't have much of a fragrance and it doesn't irritate my eyes. However, it does a horrible job of taking off the make up. It gets about 60% of it off and then the rest is just smeared around. I used my Neutrogena eye make up remover to finish the job. I wouldn't purchase this.

I like this product.
It is gentle and doesn't irritate my eyes.
I do not like the packaging and find it difficult to dose the amount i need. In the end it is a nice makeup remover, you still have to rub your eyes a bit, but it doesn't make your eyes sting.

I think it's too expensive though, but if i don't find another one which is as gentle as this one, I will repurchase.

This product is AMAZING. This is my favorite makeup remover. It removes my eye makeup effortlessly. It also doesn't leave my eyes greasy at all. I sometimes use this right before i put on my eyeshadows, it gives a nice surface for your eyeshadows to stay on. I will buy this over and over again.

This product removes my eye makeup but does not do a good job removing waterproof eyeliner/mascara. The main reason that I would not purchase this item is because it stings my eyes when I use it. I received a fairly large sample of this product but I would not recommend this to anyone.

I prefer the Mary Kay product over this, it's less oily and more silky.

I would repurchase this eye makeup remover and I have. Initially, like most others, I got a pretty good sized bottle of this as a GWP and when I finished it, I repurchased (though I kept the GWP bottle to decant into). I like that this product is effective at removing my concealer (MAC Pro Longwear) but doesn't leave a greasy, oily film behind that then needs to be washed off. Actually, when I first started using this, I didn't read the instructions fully and didn't realize you needed to then rinse with cool water (and even so, I didn't have any problems). What I really wanted and still want is a product you can use just on your eyes, say at the end of the day, if you ONLY want to redo your eye area because of smudges, without having to end up wrecking the rest of your makeup by washing off either an oily residue or this "solvent" (thought I find a cotton pad soaked in cool water works as well as rinsing with cool water). But I really like this eye makeup remover because it works without a lot of fuss and it doesn't seem to bother my eyes or the skin of my eye area.

Like everyone else is seems I got this as a gwp. It does a reasonable job, however, it dried out my already dry eye area and gave me eczema :( I would definitely not buy this again.

I received this a while back in a sample and it works soo well. It's oil free, leaves no residue and gentle on the eyes. It looks like water! But it removes eye makeup and waterproof mascara nice and easiely!

Another recent item that was purchased for me as an xmas gift in error. I usually use Take the Day Off Remover for Eyes, Lids, Lips etc - however was purchased the blue 'Solvent' eye makeup remover instead. I was dismayed to see that this is a product that requires an additional step -rinsing with cold water to complete the application process -why?? Clinique has a much superior product in the form of TTDoff Remover which is a one step product and does the top efficiently and with no irritation or fuss. The word Solvent and indeed the blue bottle puts m off this product - after using - it does clean well -however i have found my lids and under eye area feeling tight and my eyes slightly gritty. I will retain this item but with use for minor touch upd around the eye area e.g after evening cleansing to swab with a cotton bud to remove residual eye makeup product from around waterline etc.

I always use eyeliner, so a remover is important to me and used daily. I used to be loyal to the mabelline oil free make up remover. That was is still good to me, but this ones better. I have also tried the Rimmel one, and the Almay eye make up remover pads and the infamous Lancome removers. I prefer the clinique one to all of the mentioned. Removes all my usually black eyeliner and mascara, doesnt irritate my eyes or leave an oily film behind (hate that). Would repurchase.

I absolutely LOVE this product. I have been using it for over 10 years and will continue to do so. It is the only product that removes all of my eye make-up without irritating my eyes. All of the other removers I have used, have either stuung my eyes or made my eyes really itchy. I canmnot live with out this eye make-up remover !!!!!
