Back when I used to wear foundations every day for work or going out I thought I'd try out this benefit product.I chose it because it was meant to be a tinted moisturizer and as I was purchasing a moisturizer and foundation I figured I could save money. I had read reviews about how tinted moisturizer was better for the skin because t was lighter than a foundation and allowed the skin to breathe whereas a foundation would clog pores.

This product at the time only came in one shade which was an orange brown and my skin at the time was very light yellow so the colour made my face skin orange brown next to my neck which was yellow and it wasn't a good look.for some reason despite the clash of colours I still continued using this product.the texture was actually very heavy like theatrical make up and it didn't leave the skin feeling soft and smooth.it was also kinda greasy and left an oily film on the skin.after a while of continuous use and despite the fact that I didn't have any complaints about the products I was using previously so I don't even know why I bought this money when I was earning low wages, I started getting some enormous boil type spots on my chin and nowhere else on my face where I was using it.I know sometimes these type of spots are being caused when a hair is extracted with the root and new skin is formed between the time of the hair removal and the growth of the new hair so the hair becomes trapped as an ingrown hair and is having difficulty forcing its way through the newly sealed skin.I don't know if this is what happened because I wasn't removing any of my facial hair.at the time I figured that the benefit rebel was responsible so I discontinued using the product.it would be nice if the UK cosmetic industry could produce cosmetics for people who has white or very pale yellow skin tones as every foundation tinted moisturizer I have ever used has been a peach color.when I went to the cosmetic counter in the jopins department store in sunderland I asked the sales assistant which foundation would be best for me and she tried some swatches on my face and she said we have nothing for you your skin is actually very yellow and everything we have is orange browns peach beige and too dark for your skin tone.

I love this tinted moisturiser. I have it a very long time and still have some left. I wear it everyday for school. My school has a no makeup rule and it gives me a natural look. Its a light coverage tinted moisturiser and I have to wear concealer under my eyes just to get rid of darkness because it is sheer. It gives my skin a glow and have gotten so many compliments wearing it saying it doesn't even look like I'm wearing makeup. It's gorgeous on a more tanned skin tone because it is slightly darker but I LOVE this product and would defiantly buy it again. It is a staple in my collection

This is my 1st bad review!! You Rebel is greasy slides off the skin. It looks streaky and the color is awful. I looked orange. Tried it in the light color then I looked yellow.
Please ladies dont waste your time with this. So many better tinted moisturizers out there, try Laura Mercier, Clinique or even Neutrogena!!

I recently purchased this tinted moisturizer after viewing it at Ulta. I used to wear the smashbox tinted moisturizer but it wasn't matching my color and I was tired of lightening it with another moisturizer anyway, I really like you Rebel..it works well with my skintone and after reading reviews about it making people orange and yellow I was a bit worried. It doesn't do that to my skin at all! I usually just spritz some toner on in the morning, put some concealer under my eyes and put this moisturizer on...It doesn't have as much coverage as a foundation (obviously) but I like the coverage it gives me and I add a bit of blush on top and I'm good to go. Love love love this tinted moisturizer! only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the tube...wish it was made of a different material and a pump would be nice.

I just love benefit packaging! Super cute!!

I got attracted to the 'you rebel' by the fact it's a tinted moisturiser, that has SPF and evens out skin tone.

With my job that I'm in I don't really have time to mess around blending foundation all that stuff so this works really well for me as it blends beautifully.
Ladies don't be out off by how dark the colour is! I have pale skin and this blends in looking natural, it gives a beautiful radiant lift.

I wouldn't say the 'you rebel' gives coverage. Any blemishes or dark circles will need some concealer.

Summary: if you want simple, quick, natural 'foundation moisturiser'... This is for you!

How I prepare my skin: after wearing it all day, I like to wash my face at night with a cleanser, I then use a toner and moisturise. In the morning my skin is then beautifully prepared for easy application of the tinted moisturiser!

I love this product. One of the best tinted moisturizers i have ever tried. I hate foundation, nor do i need it. So when i want to look good or if I am going on a date ;), I love to do a thin layer of this, it just evens out my skintone and gives me a subtle color. Very moisturizing and leaves you looking dewy. Very natural. Pair this with Benetint and you look amazingly fresh and natural :)

This tinted moisturiser was perfect for me and I've got sensitive combination skin. I used it when I was on holiday as I wanted something on my face but not wear foundation and it never felt greasy in the sun on me. I carried on wearing it when I went back to work and apart from the odd shine during the day I still don't need foundation.

Im a huge benefit fan but thought this was poor. You're better off getting a foundation and a moisturiser because i found it thicker and more oily then most foundations just without the coverage. i normally quite like tinted moisturisers but was not impressed with this at all.

I was very excited to try this product at first but when i used it I was very disappointed. For those who have oily skin this is not for you. It wasn't the best coverage and left my skin feeling sort of chalky. Also by the end of the day it seemed like it wasn't their anymore. If you have drier skin i think this would be prefect for you.I would not buy this product again.(P.S. It is also very expensive)

This is a nice tinted moisturiser which gives a light coverage and a lovely glow! It is quite dark and therefore better use in summer. Also, i have dry skin and have to apply powder to stop myself looking too shiney. This t/m would not be suitable for people with oily skin or for people with pale skin but suits me as i have medium toned, dry skin.

I can pull this off better than the Lite version but none of these is perfect. Lite is too yellow and this is too dark. However on the summer time it will be better. I like the sheer coverage and it never makes me feel dry. Love the smell. Might actually repurchase.

I started using this about six years ago when it VERY first came out and you could only get one color. I am fair-medium, but I tan VERY easily, and during the summer, this is amazing. I was mixing it with a regular moisturizer for a bit until they FINALLY came out with the light. I own foundations and other tinted moisturizers, but I'm not sure why because this is all I wear. It's perfect for someone who likes light-medium coverage. During the winter I use the light with just a tiny bit of the original in it to make me look like I'm actually alive... lol

It's a little on the expensive side, especially for someone like me who needs both colors, but it's worth it because it lasts forever. I've had my current tubes for almost a year now and that's with every day wear. There is a smell to them, but it's not unpleasant, it kinda smells like suntan lotion.

After having it used for a month , these are my impressions:

CONS:
- Even when freshly applied, it looks like you have washed your face with bacon. This is not "dewy", it's just plain greasy.
- It gets worse after a few hours. When I washed my face I could actually feel the oil.
- You have to use powder every hour to look somehow normal.
- Comedogenic, which means that it DOES CLOG PORES! If you don't believe me then look it up on the benefit website.

PROS:
- It is the perfect shade for girls with golden/tan/beige skin.
(I've been trying to love it, because it was the best match I've ever had)
- It stays on forever. You don't have to re-apply. Even a bit of water cannot get it off.

Probably great for girls with dry/very dry skin. Awful for girls with combination or acne prone skin.

I bought this at the begginning of the year (recommanded by a friend) thinking that it would be good to keep the skin protected from the sun and moisturised. However this product was quite disappointing as it left my skin oily (I have Normal skin). Especially in the sun, the colour changed and left marks around my neckline. The product is also quite pricey. If you intend to purchase this product, use Benefit Moon Beam with it for a great affect. Probably wouldn't buy again. Would recommand Boot's Botanics Tinted Moistuizer (Under a Fiver and works fanastically)!!

I must use this product everyday...and I love it. It just creates a lovely base to work with, I sometimes like to apply a light founadtion over the top, or a heavy one for a long night out! I sometimes may just wear it with a little concealer, but I love it.
I generally mix it with a highlighter (such as highbeam) and I love, love, love it! :D it's light and not greasy-though I must say I do use it sparingly and not like a usual moisturiser, I also apply the same amount on my face as I do my neck, to make sure I am all the same colour! It can be greasy if you apply too much. but it doesn't clog pores!
I do think it's a little bit pricey as I use it everyday, however one tube will last me around 3-5 months depending on how much I use it. It can be a bit pricey, so I tend to ask for it at christmas and birthdays ><
I would highly reccommend this product to everybody <3

Love it sooooo much! It's the only teinted moisturizer I've used so far so I don't know if I can find a better one but I'll defenatly buy it again. I use the darker shade and it gives my skin a dewy look.

hated this! gives absolutely NO coverage so you'd be better off just using a regular moisturizer. squirts out so much at once..me and my mom both tried it and did not like it much at all. There are definitely better out there

This is a good tinted moisturiser, but Iīm sure you can find better one. Iīm dissapointed of their shade pallete, two shades is really not enough. The lightest shade is still too dark for me and it has a very noticeable yellow undertone. It looks ok now, when Iīm tan. The smell is absolutely gorgeous, it reminds me od my grandmaīs garden full of flowers. It has a dewy finish and doesnīt look cakey, the coverage is very light. It has spf 15, which is great. A little goes a long way, but still itīs a little pricey. But after all, I will buy this product again.
