I bought this originally for my dd who is currently 22 months old. Her hair has been growing a little longer though it is not yet shoulder length. She wakes with a bedhead and sometimes the back of her head gets fuzzy. This smooths out the fuzzy bits and smooths out her hair without being sticky or heavy. I really like the smell and it is not too strong. On my 3b hair, it comes in handy when I am feeling lazy and need something to tame and get out the knots at the nape of my neck without having to wash my hair. It is not the most moisturizing product for me, but it does the job. It also doesn't dull my hair or cause any build-up. I will continue to repurchase.

I had forgotten just how wonderful this stuff is. First of all, it smells amazing. It conditions hair while helping get rid of tangles, and doesn't leave any sort of residue. My only complaint is that I wish it was more like a mist rather than a spray, it can make it difficult to aim and get all of your hair at once. This is ten times better than the salon detangler I've used (Paul Mitchell). AND it's super cheap.

The product is good for the price. I have hair that is sometimes very curly, sometimes just wavy. It is relatively thick, frizzy, and tangles easily. I bought this for days that I just wanted to dampen and comb through my hair. This product does what it says: it helps work out the tangles in hair. This means less breakage (curly girls know what I'm talking about!)!
The downside: need a lot of the product, and the pump is a little hard. My hand gets tired using this bottle! Something in the product makes my neck itch (so I really have to use this by tipping my head upside down).
I will probably continue to buy, because, for the price, it does what it says it will do. :)

I bought this for my son he has alot of curls, i would just spray it on his hair brush and brush his hair. But after reading the reviews i tried it on myself. I cut out the conditioner all together and used this instead. It gave my limp hair lots of body without any static. Love it and will continue to use in between a good deep conditioner. The only thing I really dont like is the pump. it only sprays a little at a time so I just open the lid and put some in the palm of my hand and slowly distribute through my hair.

No more tangles is right! Leaves hair healthy+shiny, works both wet or dry, and best of all it’s wallet friendly. Only 1 con is that it makes my hair look a bit more greasier.

I cannot be without this product. I hate conditioning my hair, so after towel drying, I just squirt about half-dozen squirts of this in my hair, comb through and I'm ready to blow dry. Sometimes after using the de-tangler, I apply my KMS shine serum before blow drying, and the de-tangler doesn't interfere with my other products. You could bottle this under a salon brand name, charge $30 for it and women would pay it. Fortunately, it's just a few dollars at Walmart.

I love my hair. But I used to hate it - baby fine, fragile, fragile, and uncooperative. Oh yeah, and it was very dry. Growing up, my hair was a lost cause. I did everything I could try to tame my tresses but anything and everything I did made it damaged and dry. 't wasn't until late college that I began to understand how to tame my hair a little - growing it out long and blow drying it for volume but a smoothing effect helped tremendously. But now that my hair is mid-way down my back, blow drying it (even every couple of days - the most I wash my hair is every other day) was taking a toll and I didn't like that it roughened up the texture of my hair. However, every time I let it air dry, the length and products in my hair would weigh it down and I was left with zero volume.
I discovered "detanglers" via an article on fine, curly hair. I was hesitant about it since my hair was notoriously dry but now that its reached a length where tangles are becoming super problematic, I figured I mine as well give it a try. In the shower, I usually focus my shampoo wash on my scalp but every couple of washes make sure to give my entire head a nice since to get rid of product build up. I then put conditioner on the bottom half only - I used to put about 3/4 but I stopped doing that to weigh it down less. After I towel dry my hair, I give about 8-10 spritz around my head and let it work its magic for a few minutes. Afterwards, I do a variety of things... let it air dry, partial air dry and blow dry, or air dry in rollers. Regardless, I'm left with very soft and manageable hair. I love that my hair feels soooooo smooth. Seriously, better than almost any other effect I've had from other products. And it doesn't feel weighed down from product! Because of that, I am less apt to feel obligated to subject my hair to the blow dryer.
I love love love. Unless the effect changes, I'm going to be following this routine from now on. I also think the packaging is very sturdy and nice and the spray is very even and strong. LOVE.

I really like this! I originally bought this because I was getting so many knots in my hair by the back of my neck. I use this after I shower and spray it on my ends and underneath by the neck .
-
There is a faint smell which I could do without, but it fades and does not linger (when used on wet hair) When used on dry hair the smell stays around longer.
-
The spray top has this circular thing that annoyed me so i slid it off. It would sometimes slip upwards and get in the way of my spraying.
-
This does not weigh my hair down at all, it is so light that I can spray it on my dry hair to freshen up and it doesn´t look greasy. That is something great about this, there is no greasy after-look.

Even though this is made for kids, I use it and love it. My hair tangles easily and a few sprays of this stuff before I brush it really seems to help. It doesn't leave my hair greasy or weigh it down at all. Also, you can't beat the price.

I grabbed it on a whim because it was on sale for three bucks at my local drug store. Even though it was located in the baby section, I figured it would hurt to try it out anywas. I used the no tears shampoo and the baby powder when I was a little girl.
The smell appears to be a variation of the baby powder, perhaps a bit more sweeter. It is hard to describe but I like it. It stays on your hair but you have to really sniff at your hair to notice. Otherwise, no lingering smell whatsoever. The mist is really fine and I quite like the twisted top. It keeps the bottle in place without spray it accidentally.
My hair is fine and damaged because of frequent flat iron uses and self coloring. It can get easily tangled at the ends. I followed the suggestion of one of the MUAers here where I spray generously after I squeeze the water out and just leave it wrapped around a towel for a few minutes. It leaves my hair soft and I think a bit shiner as well. I now also use it every morning as a setting spray before I comb through my hair.
My hair tangles much less now although it is still quite frizzy. Then, I am not counting on this particular product to combat the frizziness anyways. For three dollars, it does a better job than I expected as a detangler

I love this hair detangler. It gets tangles out easily, doesn't build up or weigh down hair, leaves hair soft. Make sure you get the one in the green bottle it works the best! I also love how theres no cap you just spray.

This stuff is pretty awesome. I have a lot of hair, it's baby fine, and heavily layered, so as you can imagine it's a nightmare trying to comb through it. I never thought about buying this because I figured it'd weigh my hair down or make it greasy, but to my surprise it didn't. I use about 10 sprays, let it sit a minute or two, and works from the ends up to get the tangles out. I'm not going to say it's a miracle product, but it works, and it works well. It still takes some effort to comb through my hair, but it's significantly easier, and my hair isn't weighed down, greasy, nothing. It's not heavily fragranced, and I haven't had an issue with buildup. The price is great, I paid less than $4 for a bottle that will probably last two months plus. The only thing I'd change about this product is the bottle. I use my hands to work the product through my hair, and when I try to spray it again my hands are too slippery to press the pump. Overall, I'd definitely buy this again, and would definitely use it on my daughter once her hair gets a little longer.

Have been having problems with my hair lately -- as I'm growing out highlights, now it is not only a tangled mess but also a tangled mess with 2-inch dark roots. I had resorted to putting it up in the mornings (usually still damp from the shower) and just leaving it that way all day so I didn't have to deal with it. Cut to me wandering around Target recently, and I saw this detangler in the baby section and thought, hey, for $3, let's see if this makes my hair easier to comb. Worst that can happen is it turns into a greasy mess for a day and I throw out the rest of the bottle. Well, my hair's not a greasy mess, it's soft and manageable! Don't know if this will start to build up or not, but for now I'll take it!

I have tried many, many hair products for my fine, straight, and highlighted blonde hair. My hair doesn't have too many issues besides lack of volume. This is soooo amazing for my hair. I don't use conditioner in the shower and spray this on after instead, wait a few minutes, then comb my hair. My hair is soft and shiny and not weighed down at all! I never would have thought my favorite hair product would be found in the baby section at Wal-Mart but it works so well. The smell is exactly how I remember it from my childhood too. This also works well on second day hair if you need some refreshing & de-kinking.
Note: Dimethicone is the 2nd ingredient so beware if you don't like silicones.

I find this works best if you spray it on, massage into hair lightly with fingers, and let sit for a minute or two before combing. Start at the bottom of hair and gradually work your way to the roots. I use this instead of a conditioner because my hair is very fine and gets weighed down. I can use mousse or gel over NMT for extra body without a heavy, greasy feel.

I love this and my friends make fun of me because its for kids :-P I love love the smell, reminds me of the shampoo that was in the fish bottle when i was a kid! I use this everyday to fix my bed head. I don't wash my hair everyday so that means i dont condition it every day and i feel this adds some light conditioning without me having to soak my head. I don't really get tangles, i just like this as a refreshing/hydrating spray :)

I've been using the Biolage Leave-In Conditioner spray, and I was looking for a cheaper alternative. I picked this up while I was in CVS one day and decided to give it a try. It conditions well, detangles, and isn't heavy or oily after it dries. Seems like a good cheap alternative! My hair is bra-strap length, color-treated blonde and wavy - not totally curled but could never be straight either. I will finish the bottle and update!

I have fine, almost-shoulder-length, partially virgin hair (I had a highlighting mishap a year ago and am trying to grow that out, no other chemical treatments). In the summer, I don't like to use even rinse-out conditioners because my hair tends to look limp and greasy too quickly, and leave-ins are out of the question (for the same reason). My hair has a fairly soft, shiny texture anyway- how much "conditioning" does it need? I do get tangles, though, and hate trying to get them out if I've been brave and just done the "shampoo-only" thing. I remembered my mom using this product on me when I was little and wondered if J&J still made it. The next time I was in the supermarket, I looked for it in the baby section and presto! And just $3.99 for a pretty large bottle- a bargain compared to the detanglers for grownups. It still smells the same- a clean, slightly soapy smell- and detangles my hair just as well. My hair looks shiny and bouncy after use even if I just let my hair air dry. And when I blowdry it helps my hair stay smooth (I don't flatiron) and flyaway-free. I still condition once or twice a week but just shampooing and using No More Tangles has made my hair routine SO simple and my hair looks better than it has in a long time. I will definitely repurchase!
