I received this as a birthday gift. For some reason my friend identified this perfume similar to Babydoll. It's really not - just because they both have 'doll' in them...
It's not my favourite kind of scent but it does give me an extra boost as it's sweet and refreshing for a springtime scent.
I like to think of this as a more feminine and lighter version of Escadas.

i bought this for my sister and it's a nice scent, but it's a little strong for me because i am sensitive to strong scents.

Dolly Girl is a lovely, girlie scent that almost made me feel like skipping. However, the scent dissipates almost instantly, which is a deal breaker for me. Such a shame, because the bottle is truly darling.

So when I was 16, i was head over heels with this product... I thought it was a very pleasant smelling perfume....very innocent.

I wanted to revive those days, so I purchased this on ebay.
Now , years later, this smells plastic and artificial and screams TEENY-BOPPER to me.....and also it just doesn't suit me anymore, now that I am not 16 anymore.

I had this on and I was eating and I felt nausea I lost my appetite too :(
yuck. I want to get rid of it! :(

Oh my god the bottle!! The best, so, so cute I have to confess this is the main reason I initially was drawn to this perfume. However I love the way it smells now too, to me it smells like Dolly Mixtures, powdery, fruity but not citric or acidic at all. This scent is very light though and the staying power isn't the greatest but it's perfect for when you don't want a heavy or dramatic fragrance or want to smell yummy of sweets like you could be edible. My man thought it smelled lovely on me too. Also you can get this in a set along with the lotion for 21.00 GBP where I am and online it's even cheaper so the price is not too terrible either.

I got this in sample size when I purchased a lip gloss and I fell in love with it! I agree with some of the other reviewers, the scent is amazing.. its a really summery playful smell. my boyfriend loves it! im not really a big fan of the bottle but i love the fragrance itself. and for me the scent lasts the whole day. its just a really amazing product.

This scent is just....okay.

It's reeeaaally forgettable, nothing special at all about it. I'll admit that I bought this for the bottle, and I bought it online without testing it, and while I'm relieved that I don't find this scent offensive....I'm left underwhelmed.

The bottle is gorgeous, but misleading.

The scent is light and fresh, I pick up some bittersweet grapefruit mixed with a bouquet of fresh florals. This is a very spring scent.

Even though I LOVE light citrusy scents, this one just...isn't it for me.

I use this as a freshener for my hair but that's about it.

This is clearly a perfume that not everyone will fall in love with, as is the same for any perfume. I have difficulty finding perfumes that mix with my body chemistry well and this is one of the exceptions. I fell in love with it in high school and I'm still a fan. It's a lovely floral mixed with fruity scent that is vibrant, youthful, and exuberant. Because of its nature, it definitely isn't for those who are more into darker scents (I'm thinking musk, amber, woodiness). This is clearly a perfume for sunny day of uncomplicated and uninhibited fun and play. When I spray this on, all I can think of is throwing on a light dress and sandals for a nice walk in the park. I know that some find the bottle a turn-off, but I actually like it. It reminds me of mannequin heads at hat shops. For me, this is a staple perfume and scent.

Sharp sweetness first which was good. Dried to a powdery smell like baby powder or something. I do not want to smell like a baby, so I gave this away. Plus my friend said I smelt like her ex bf's mother...def. a no no!

I love this product. Mainly because of the packaging, its irresistably. Also its so much fluid oz in the bottle I feel like it will last me forever. And the smell is pretty, not the best but more than good enough. It's a light scent, and reading from other reviews I agree that the smell fades faster than I would like. I love ANNA SUI products but I must admit, her actual product isn't all that. But I think this is one of her better products. I will be repurchasing this item, it looks so cute on my makeup counter.

i bought Anna Sui Dolly Girl at Sephora for $62 and i think the price is pretty reasonable

i absolutely love the packaging!!! to be honest i wanted to buy the fragrance because of the bottle hahahah but when i actually tried on the scent i kinda liked it too. it's very fruity! i keep reading reviews that this fragrance doesn't last long and it needs to be sprayed on constantly throughout the day but it works fine for me. in fact it has a very lasting scent on me!

overall, i think it was worth my $62 but i doubt i'll purchase it again cause there are much better scents out there in my opinion:)

one of my fave frangrances ever! very girly and cute. comes in a lovely bottle, which ive kept because it looks so nice! would reccommend for teenagers, girly girls, perfect for everyday wear.

it's totally my HG fragrance. it smells so sweet (not candy-like but floral) and so girly. the scent isnt the overpowering type and i guess it's quite a overall acceptable scent (judging that all my friends find it nice). it's lasting too.

This scent turned into Polly Vinyl plastic- doll smell on me.
My daughter, less than half my age, put some on, and
I asked her, what on earth are you wearing that smells
so good? So it doesn't like my chemistry at all. I gave it
to her. It didn't even smell good coming out of the bottle
at first, either. It somehow morphs on her into this rare,
blooming flower. It does have a sharp unpleasantness,
but I think this is what my skin does to it. It might work for
everyone else but me. I loved the looks of the bottle but
not what was inside.

It is a very girlish fragrance as it's name suggests. Fruity and cute.
However, like all Anna Sui frangrances, it goes off REALLY quickly. No matter how much I spray, I don't smell anything at all after like half an hour...Doesn't help even when I use their lotion.
Big disappointment.

I have tried Dolly Girl at the first time when I was walking around at duty free shop. I have tested so many perfume by taking a note of each name. At the first time I sniff Dolly Girl, there's no special thing. But when I got home, I took all testing paper to sniff each of then again. And when I sniff the testing paper of Dolly Girl, it felt so right, I siad to myself that I have to but it. It smells great fruity, sour, then turns sweet when it is dried. As another Anna Sui perfume, it doesn't last long. Later, when I tried Dolly Girl On The Beach (which the scent is a bit sweeter), I love On The beach more than normal Dolly Girl. Will buy it again.

It's a nice scent, but I prefer the other editions of Dolly Girl-Dolly Girl on the Beach, Ooh La Love, or Bonjour L'amour. This product is very pretty and girly and leans more towards the floral side of fruity floral, and I prefer fruity florals.

dolly girl is fun, sweet and playful. it's the perfect day-to-day scent for me, it's simple and sweet without being too sweet -- i hated aquolina pink sugar cuz it was so sweet it smelled plastic-y and fake. dolly girl is a fun, vibrant fragrance that i think is targeted to girls in their early 20s or younger. it's innocent and fun, and it always gives me a "casual chic" feeling when i'm wearing it. one small drawback is that it's not very long-lasting cuz the scent is not very strong to begin with. but i can't complain because i personally hate strong scents and am allergic to classic fragrance such as chanel no.5 and coco. anna sui never disappoints me in terms of both makeup and fragrances, i love anna sui's brand image, the glamorous packaging and the quality. will probably repurchase when i go through this bottle.
