Again whats with mac putting glitter in the lipglasses? Gold charm woud be great without the glitter.

this is the ideal gold lipgloss- it is not opaque or metallic (which would just look scary) yet it is definetly a gold gloss, with gold glitter. although i have naturally pinky red lips, the gold colour shows up nicely and the glitter is the perfect size size and texture. this is not a daytime gloss, if you want to wear gold glitter in the day, you need it to be in clear gloss which you can get hold of anywhere. i wouldnt spend mac money on one of those- grab a drugstore brand!

I really regret buying this! It's got a thin, unpleasant texture-- it almost feels greasy. I prefer the stickier formula of most other MAC lipglasses. The colour is okay, but nothing special, especially on its own (and I hate to layer it with anything because it has zero staying power and makes anything underneath it not last as well!). I dislike this so much that I am going to use it next time I do Back 2 MAC even though mine is still about 80% full.

I would say this is a darker (browner) version of Oh Baby, but I returned it since I find it looks a bit scary on me, too brown for my taste.

I like this color a lot. It goes well with Tannish-medium skin tones. It's a lot like instant gold lustreglass, except of course not as slippery of a consistency, and therefore the color shows up better. It truly is gold, which is great. Definitely a keeper, for me atleast. Too dark of lips may not be able to work with this. Medium tinted to light tinted lips can work with this.

This is a sheer golden color with chunky glitter. This is a pretty color, but the glitter is too much for most days. When the l/g starts to wear off, the glitter becomes grainy and uncomfortable. I would not repurchase this. Try instant gold lustreglass instead.
I'm ppp, red hair, blue eyes, very little pigment to lips.

This looks like my normal lip color only a little more pink with gold sparkle. I like it, though it's not something I wear often.

it's way too gold and glittery on my lips so i would never apply it by itself. i only use this when i apply a clear lip gloss and dab a little of this in the middle of my lip when i'm going for a tanned, bronzey look. for that, it serves its purpose well.

i ♥ gold charm. it goes on very sheer and gel like. not much color to it but it does have some slight glitter. it's really pretty and it's excellent as a moisturizing gloss. i'm an olive mmm.

To me this is an average gloss. Yes, just simply average. I pined and pined over getting this gloss, and finally got it thru a wonderful swapper. Now I'm really quite glad that I didn't end up purchasing it for myself. Gold Charm, when layered on my lips, is a pale peachy gold with bits of chunky glitter that actually feels quite gritty and has the tendency to migrate. I had never previously tried any of the newer formulas of Lipglass, and now I can definitly say I do prefer the tackier long lasting texture of the non glitter lipglasses. The lasting power of this is actually quite bad tho...mos def not what I expect from a MAC Lipglass. But a light layer gives my lips a pretty glow..and this will be great over some of my peachy golden nude lipsticks I have stashed away. Not something I would worry about purchasing again, but I'll enjoy it while I have it.
Here is a pic of Gold Charm over my bare naked lips, it reminds me once again why I find this gloss to be on the boring side, as I could think of a bazillion and one glosses that look like this on my lips

Eh. It's beige; it's got chunky glitter. On, it looks like a plain frosty gloss with fairly large peach glitter. IMO, it's pretty plain for a MAC lipglass. And I just have to face it, I hate chunky glitter. Micro-glitter and shimmer are good, but chunky glitter is too 1993 raver for me.

This is an interesting gloss. The formula of it is different than the older MAC glosses; it's not as sticky and has a very creamy feel (feeels like melted peanut butter). It lasts quite a while as well. As for the color - it's a pinkish-beige gold with tons of sparkles. That is the one thing I don't like about this gloss..the sparkles. If you use a very light coat of this, it makes a really nice shimmery, almost clear gloss. I was very surprised to find that this did not wash me out (im a PPP/LLL, cool/neutral tones). If you're looking for a slightly outgoing, fun gloss then this is the one for you.

I love this color. It goes on pretty sheer with peach & gold colored sparkles. Lots of sparkles. I hate the tiny amount you get. I will prolly not repurchase because too expensive for such a tiny amount. Too bad, cuz I really love the color.

I think this is a pretty color. It's a sheer gold so it's not overpowering and the sparkle is just enough. I took away a lipstick because it doesn't have much staying power.

This is a golder version (no pink tones) of Go Lightly. It's a nudish gold with heavy glitter. It looks clear on my lips (except for the glitter). Definately not my fav!

Dear Lord!!
This lipglass is AWESOME!! The color is PERFECT for my green eyes and light brownish hair! Leaves little pieces of glitter on the lips. I've been using it nonstop!

Although it looks very golden in the tube, it shows up on my lipglass as a very muted gold. Not very flashy, but it has enough gold to give a nude look. I got the mini size, and I'm planning on buying the full-size tube.
EDIT: Well, the glitter's a bit too much, so I took one lipstick off.

This color is a nude pink-gold color with some sparkles in it. It looks great, it's such a pretty color! Flatters all my features (dark hair, dark eyes, tan skin) and just makes me look beautiful and radiant!
*******update******
I wore this color in the summer when I was much tanner, though I am still pretty tan. I haven't worn it since summer ended, and I don't think it would really look right for everyday use.

This lipglass is so pretty! Works as a good nude for me. Very light gold sheen w/ tiny golden flecks. I just wish the texture was the same as the old lipglasses, I don't much care for the newer consistancy because it doesn't last as long, which is why I took off a l/s. Overall, it's a really nice color & I'd re-purchase.

I have medium pigmented lips, so I liked the soft colour of this gloss. It's a sheer golden champagne with microglitter. However, this is one of MAC's glosses that the glitter is too gritty. I don't usually find that with MAC, but this one I can feel the glitter on my lips. However, it's not so much that I would get rid of this gloss. It makes a soft, pretty lip and looks great over other glosses and lipsticks.
