The label on my lipstick says Le Rouge Absolu in Coquette but I think it's the same as this one. I received this as a GWP. I like the consistency of the lipstick and the smell doesn't bother me. I find that this formula doesn't last very long on my lips but I like the rich, moisturizing feel on my lips. The shade looks pretty on me with a black and white eye, and subtle light pink blush. I probably wouldn't buy this as it was a GWP and there are so many other less expensive lipsticks out there.

Did not work for my extremely fair and cool-toned skin, because it made me old and sick. (yikes)

Too much brown and gold in this product for it to work for me, but it did look nice on my aunt who is fair and cool-toned, but is in her mid-40s.

The color is gorgeous and the quality if lancome-standard (this one, I noticed, is a bit on the brassy, frosty side, if that makes sense). I don't really care for frost or sparkles on my lipstick, but the color DID look gorgeous on my aunt.

What a mixed review this is, isn't it?!

This color is a nice frosty pink that I like to wear on the days I'm feeling low maintenance. It's pink enough to look natural but the gold shimmer adds something special. I wouldn't repurchase because it's nothing spectacular. Its scent also kind of bugs me sometimes. The packaging is dull. It was a GWP so I'll use it since I have it but nothing I'll miss terribly.

Perfect pink lipstick- doesn't look like cotton candy!
1. Wears a very long time for traditional lippie
2. Goes-with-everything shade, "expensive" looking pink
3. Points off for price, and rather plain tube.

I feel like I'm the only one that adores this. I used to use it all the time, then I bought another lipstick that was a replacement. I found it in the back of my drawer..I love it! It's a nice pinky frosty color and it looks fine on me. I will buy it again

Pros: A very neutral color (gold-frosted rose pink) that I imagine looks good on pretty much anyone. Moisturising enough and smooth texture. A good "purse lipstick".

Cons: Gross rose scent and waxy taste. Amount is in no way worth the price.

I really love this color, but it is a little bit too frosted for my tastes; I have to wear gloss over it or it looks gaudy. Too generic of a shade for the Lancome price.

I love this lipstick- the color is a mid-toned pink with soft gold-toned shimmer. Very pretty on my NC20 skin. Plus- this lipstick stays put! I got this from my mother who received this in a bonus gift. If I ran out I would def. consider re-buying.

I got this as a GWP and I do not like the color at all...It is way to light and frosty for my coloring, I gave it to my mother, but I doubt it would look good on her either....I see this color only working for girls with very pale coloring and non pigmented lips...totatlly washed me out and I dislike frost immensly on my lips...

Love the colour. Always get compliments when I wear it. Makes my lips look full and sexy. It was a freebie in a GWP so I don't know about the price.

This is a nuetral mid toned pink with shimmer, a very basic YLBB shade. It smells like roses and has a weird taste. Too expensive for a basic color IMO.

Coquette is a deep neutral pink with a light touch of gold, and it's a very pretty color. I used this quite a bit before I discovered MAC's Hug Me. My favorite look to pair it with was with a deep smoky eye and neutral cheeks.

I don't like floral or chemcial scents though, so usage of this color eventually became nil.

It's a nice color though, and if you like it I suggest that you pick it up.

Nice color and feels good on lips. I received this as a GWP but itīs too expensive and there are similar products but waaay cheaper. Nice, but not repurchase.

I received this lipstick as a GWP. I love it! I am a lipstick girl, can't stand gloss. I love lip color, but could never find a lipstick that I didn't have to constantly re-apply. But that's not a problem with this lipstick. Hours after I apply it, the color is still there! That has never happened before for me. When I first saw the Coquette color in the tube, I didn't think I'd like it, but when I put it on, it's very pretty. It's not too dark, not too bright, not too pink, not too red. A nice color that works for me (fair/med complex with brown hair and brown eyes).

Coquette is lighter than I thought it'd be. It is a shimmery slightly lighter pink color with gold or peach tones that doesn't work well with me. I prefer a color that looks like a deeper version of my natural lip color. Coquette is actually lighter than my natural lip color. Also, I am not a fan of the unusual scent.

Got this as a GWP. I generally dislike lipstick and never wear it--I'm a lipgloss gal all the way. This one, however, is rather sheer, and the color is just gorgeous. I'm an NC30 and this looks great on me with just a bit of clear gloss on top. It's moisturizing and goes on smoothly, too. Can't beat the price as a GWP, though if I ever run out I will definitely repurchase.

In the tube it looks gorgeous, on the back of my hand it's gorgeous. Sort of a deep pink w/ gold shade. On my lips it's strangely dark and coppery and makes me look like 40 years older. Obviously this works on some people, but not me. FYI I am AAB

This is a very pretty color, but I agree with one of the reviewers below that it is a golden peach more than a mauvey color--at least on me. I am very cool-toned, so the color does not work for me, but I think it would be very pretty on those w. neutral/warm tones. I am saying that I _would_ buy it again if my skintone were different!

Pretty color, but unlike other reviewers, who say it's a mauvey or lavendar pink, I'd say it looks more like a golden peach shade of pink on me. I wish it were more opaque; I have a very thin upper lip, so I have to "color outside the lines" when I put lipstick on. This color is too sheer for that. Women who have both lips--instead of one, like me--will probably really like it though.
