I Have used this product for years and swear by the stuff. Eyeshadow goes on more solidly, and stays on ALL day and night.

I have tried UDPP but found it too drying, and occasionally stinging, to my eyes. I like the creamy texture of this product but really wish that it came in a tube instead of a jar. I have VERY oily lids and other than Clinique Touchbase, I have never been able to wear shadows without getting creases a few hours later - that is, until I started using this product underneath! Usually this keeps away all crease, although once in awhile a crease does sneak through...not sure why.

This is stuff is amazing! I have been using it for years. I have very oily skin and could never seem to keep eyeshadow on my eyes without it forming a nasty line within a few hours. I would have to reapply eyeshadow at least 2 more times a day. Now I apply just a dab to each eye before applying my eye shadow and WHAH LAH no more yucky lines. My shadow goes on so much more smoothly now. I wear this stuff everyday and it last forever! I don't know what I am going to do if they ever discontinue it. A+!!!

This stuff is great! I tend to get very oily lids during the summer and it bothers me to no end when my eye make-up is all ruined by the sweat, heat and humidity we have here (Puerto Vallarta, Mexico). But this product is really a god-send, my eyeshadows and liners last so well without creasing or fading for about 10+ hours, which is unbelievable good for me. Plus, the jar can also last a long time, a tiny bit of product is just enough for both eyes. I'll keep buying this stuff as long as they don't discontinue it. Highly recommended! :)

My HG eyeshadow primer for my oily lids. I've already bought a backup of this despite being only half way through the jar. It lasts for ages, goes on smoothly and makes eyeshadow adhere very well to the lids. It doesn't dry in a tight film. Definitely worth its name, as it does not let shadow fade or crease. Definitely worth all the hype. :)

I asked the woman at Ulta which eyeshadow base she rec'd. She said that this one was popular & worked well. NOT. It made little to no difference. I really don't even have a major fading shadow problem, but I work long days so I thought I might try this. I noticed no difference. Maybe for some ppl's combo of lid oils or something it makes a difference, but def. not mine.
Now that I have tried a base that actually works (urban decay), I realize even more how cruddy this was. this was a TOTAL waste of money. Maybe for some ppl's combo of lid oils or something it makes a difference, but def. not mine.
one thing that I do like about it is that it comes in a pot to spread on lid easily w. fingers. The Urban Decay wand doesn't work as well for application

Pretty good stuff. I just got mine and have been using this for a few days now. It does the job. I put my makeup on at 9:30 a.m. and it's 10:44 and my e/s is still there. Amazing. I got this off the net w/ free shipping and it cost me 12:50. I've tried Urban Decay Primer Potion and it was okay, it cost a few dollars more than this stuff and there isn't that much in the tube. This stuff IMO is better quality, wears longer and works better. LOVE IT!

This is the best primer I've ever used. My make up doesn't go anywhere, even in the hot Phoenix summers and the humidity of Chicago. I like it much better than the MAC paints and the Clinique Touch Base. I also have fairly oily skin and eyelids, and this really holds.
As far as the blending issue goes, I just do a once over and its usually good, but I'm fairly pale to start out with so it isn't bad. I also wear brown eye shadow most of the time, and I've never noticed that the base was going astray.
I'm just now running out and I've had it for two years and I use it everyday. In all that time, it never seperated or went bad.
I highly recommend.

This product pretty much does what it says. I find that it greatly improves the wear of my eyeshadow (and liner) without drying my lids. I wish that they made it in a darker shade as well, because it is noticeably lighter than my skin color. The only other thing that I don't like is that looks like it may need to be mixed periodically to maintain the consistency of the cream (I noticed some liquid separation in the middle of the jar and I bought it less than two weeks ago).

Looks like silly-putty on my lids. I'm not used to my eyeshadows being so bright as they are when I put them on top of this. They really stick. Nice idea, fun product and probably helpful if you have trouble with this sort of thing. I've noticed the lid loosens up a bit as it bounces around in my makeup drawer. Hope it doesn't dry out.

I used this product for years. The pros: it does have a great staying power. The cons: you really need to blend it to not make it visible, that much effort to me isnt worth it. I dont want to pull on my eye area. I found Urban Decay's primer goes on smooth and dries invisible and lasts just as good if not better. I will not repurchase after seeing what else is out there.

This is the best eyeshadow primer I've ever had and I have to say that it even made my eyeshadow stay in place being 6-7 hrs in 100 deg weather! Water rides too! I am beyond impressed. It's 13.50, but it'll last a couple of years.

this really does work. it makes my shadow stay on without creasing. it also stops my natural oils from changing the colour of my shadow. this is great to get colours to show up well. not too keen on having it in a jar but i just get around that by using an eyeshadow applicator.
update : knocking a lippie off because i find that MAC shadesticks make the eyeshadow colours stand out more.

WOW. I have had this for a few months now but haven't really used it much yet (not sure why). Today - put a bit on both lids, applied eyeshadow and for the FIRST TIME EVER my eyeshadow totally stayed on all day - from like 6am to now (10pm).
I am amazed beyond words. This stuff rocks!!!

This is a wonderful eyeshadow base. It easily covers the light purple tones on my lids, and smoothes and preps them perfectly for shadow. My shadow lasts ALL day and evening without creasing - amazing!!

This is my HG eye product, will not use any eye shadow or liner without it! I don't particularly have oily lids but any eyesahdow I used (Stila, MAC, Nars) creased in about 2 or 3 hours regardless of anything I did (primers, dusting shadow on top, etc). Having found this product, I have had absolutely no problems with creasing, definately true its name. I did not have to reapply anything during my day and I actually wore the same makeup for a dinner after work with no reapplication to the daytime makeup.
The packaging is tiny and not particularly hygenic but I use it with a small concealer brush. Also, you only need a tiny dab for each lid so I think it'll last me yonks! I recommend that you blend the product and let it settle for a couple of minutes before applying any shadow or liner.

I don't know how I managed before trying this out (thanks, of course, to the MUA gals who raved about it!). I use it under every eye shadow, powder or cream, and I have almost no creasing anymore. The color of the base blends right into my skin so I can use any eye shadow over it. My only complaint would be the packaging. When I'm towards the end of a jar it gets hard to get the stuff out from around the edges. But I don't worry too much about that. A $13 jar lasts over a year. I can honestly say that of all the great products I've discovered through this site, Fade Not Crease Not is probably my all-time favorite. I will definitely keep buying this stuff and if I ever hear that it's going to be dc'd I'll probably stock up for a lifetime!

I have used this forever and it is the best eye shadow base ever - even if you have oily lids that cause your shadow to crease. Will not happen with this stuff. Another product that I am not without - ever.

My HG. Like the name, no fading and no creasing. Only issue with this product is the packaging... not too sanitary to come in a jar, but it's bearable. I'd repurchase.

The bestest thing ever. So glad I was recommended this, now I've got everyone on it. Doesn't crease - or very occassionally very little - and provides a fantastic base that hold the colour all day, all night. I love wearing this on it's own during the day, it just looks lovely as it evens out the skin tone on eyelids and makes you look bright, fresh and awake. The tiny pot will last forever as you really need the slightest dab, and less is more with this product. A must-have.
