I got a mini kit of about 4 of the venom lip gloss's...I found the texture thick, gooey, sticky and uncomfortable to wear..As far as any lip plumping??...didn't happen! Just a fancy and rather expensive gloss that doesn't really do anything......feels more like it's gonna slide off ya face! still got 'em in the draw...Yukky stuff!

Too expensive. Didn't see an effect. The kind I got had big chunks of shimmer in it that hurt my lips & made me look like a high-school wannabe. Tiny amount for the price

just bought this and i love it. i got in whisteria which ends up being a really nice and soft pink on my lips. looks very natural. the only thing i would tell people about is that is has a very distinct smell which is really love/hate. and as will all duwop lip products, be really for some stinging sensations after applying

i bought this twice thinking that i love it. it smells like cinnamon and is quite tingling but i love it.

i have big lips already so i don't know why i bought this in the first place. it comes in a very small tube with 3.5ml in it. its the original clear one.

DISADVANTAGE:

some people think it burns WAYYY too much but i can handle it. it doesn't bother me. its pretty thick and sticky and thats why i rated it so low. it doesn't seem to make my lips look more bigger. i wouldn't purchase this again.

This stuff is ridiculously sticky! Think MAC Dazzleglasses, only worse. That being said, it's fairly long-lasting, but beware! This shouldn't be worn on a windy day. Or when any kind of oral contact with another person may be involved.
Unlike most other posters, I don't mind the tingle. It doesn't burn, but it's most definitely lasting. My lips feel cool for about a half hour after application. I don't see much of a difference in terms of plumping (I already have an Angelina pout) so I'm relieved. I doubt I'd repurchase.

I got this sample, in Creamsicle, an orangey kind of colour. Nice color on my lips, not orangey at all, but this stuff burns my lips, i've had a cooling sensation as well a burning one, after the minute I put it on. Not sure if the product is made to be this way or just my allergy, but I don't have allergy as far as I know of. Smells weird as well.

I used this product for the first time by accident.! There I was blethering to my friends, randomly putting some of this gloss on my lips and then about 2 minutes later I could feel my lips burning and I thought i was having an allergic reaction to the product-my friends also comented that my lips were slightly swollen. well I went back to the counter to see what it was and felt rather silly when I realsied that this was it's purpose. So after initally panicking I was rather impressed with my beestung pout and promptly purchased some(bizare behaviour!). I do think it works as a plumping gloss and smells delicious,. however it's stickiness has ultimately put me off using it these days and to be frank, I find dabbing a dot of chilli sauce on my lips has the same effect! (also an accident!)

This works a lot like original lip venom, but is just a tad thicker and colored. You also get a lot more product for your money. Venom gloss is .35 oz whereas the original lip venom is only .12 oz and the difference in price is only $1. This is definitely my favorite gloss ever. I love the full glossy pout it gives me and the way it puffs and smooths out my lip creases. Coral Tree is a perfect sheer fleshy color with a hint of shimmer.

i bought this in buttercup; nude beige with very subtle sparkles. the texture is thick and sticky, which i really like. i'm not sure if this makes my lips plump as mine do not need to be bigger than what they are now. i like tingling sensation from cinnamon, but if you have sensitive skin, it might irritate the skin/lips. the gloss itself is not so long lasting, so i re-apply every few hrs. i will def buy it again!

Holy Snap people, this stuff plumps my little lips up to heights so high I get vertigo!! Seriously, it's a great product. The color in the tubes does not come out as intense, so make sure you test it before you buy it. As a gloss on it's own or as the final touches to lipstick it's fantastic. Doesn't change the original color underneath, but on it's own gives a "blush" of color that is natural as opposed to dramatic. The formula on the lips feels heated at first, with a bit of bite, but slowly fades with in 5 minutes or so. If you have very sensitive skin around your mouth area or your lips I wouldn't recommend this product as it would probably feel like it was burning. I am living large and in charge with this stuff!!!

I have this in bronze goddess and really like it. I was kind of disappointed in the color in the tube because it looked really brown, but it's much prettier on. It's a very natural shade, and it really brightens up my whole face. I wear that with my BE liner in neutral, and it's perfect. This barely stings at all, which I thought was kind of disappointing. lol I guess I'm just immune to that stuff by now. I don't even think this plumps, but it's still a nice gloss.

I absolutely love this product. I buy it over and over again in "tulip". When ever I use it, everyone always asks me what kind of lip gloss I have on because my lips look so great. This provides a little color, plump and shine which generally enhances my lips and looks very natural. I think most of us would look like we had an allergic reaction to something if there was a product out there that actually plumped us up to Angelina size. But if you want a natural looking lip enhancing product this one is fantastic.

I do love the glosses, my favorite colors are Buttercup, Firethorn, Coraltree, and Pink Champagne. I'm into pale colors. I use these as one of my main glosses. I use MAC Plushglass too, and these are better for plumping! I like the packaging mainly because it sanitary. Good stuff :)

i had this in lantana and thought it was beautiful. i loved the smell and the texture, though it was a bit sticky, was great. i actually noticed more plumping with these than with the venom gloss though the results weren't significant either way. maybe i got a bad batch, but it went bad quickly and the smell became very strange and almost vinegary. the packaging also leaked =\

I loved this venom gloss!It feels so tingly on my lips even though the color of it dosen't show up that well.I think the price is a little high but what do you expect of a product sold at Sephora? It really gives my lips ultimate shine and lasts for about 2 hours at a time. This is a definite must-buy!

I purchased this product in Tulip recently. I had been wanting to try the Venom Glosses for a while but was scared away by the price, so when I found it for cheap I couldn't resist to see if I should invest in other colours. HOWEVER, I found that this had no effect whatsoever on my lip size or shape. It is a good quality gloss with sheer pretty pigment, but that was about it. I will save my money for Too Faced Lip Injections from now on. But not the extreme from them, as that is even more crap than the Duwop Venom gloss. Review add on, 3/19/07- It does have a little tingle to it afterall, which is nice

This didn't work (plump) worth crap, I didn't feel it tingle or anything at all. I know the original Lip Venom doesn't work worth crap either but I like that this is colored. I actually really liked the colors it came in and the one I bought (Jessamine - a sheer bronze color). So I wear it only because I like the color. The texture is thick and sticky, so if you don't like that in a lip gloss don't buy this one. It also dries my lips out after a couple of applications.

I got a sample of this DuWop venom gloss in buttercup at Sephora. After wearing it for a few days, I realize that this is not a product I would purchase. For one thing, it is not pigmented enough to give me color or brighten up my face. For another, it is not moisturizing enough to wear as a treatment. The gloss looks light nude in the container, a very pretty, neutral, soft color which would probably look great on most young women. It goes on sheer, shiny, and slightly pearly, leaves a cooling/burning sensation which lasts a good 30 minutes to an hour, has a sweet plastic fragrance which tastes bad to me, feels a little sticky and has poor staying power. As the package claims, it “enhances lip shape” but not any more, I believe, than any good gloss would minus the irritation. I appreciate the chance to try it. Thank you, DuWop and Sephora.

OMG I love this gloss! I will admit I was afraid to try it after trying the DuWop Venom and finding that having the look of bee stung lips really felt as though I was being stung! I got this gloss as a sample and had to immediately find and purchase a tube! Note that when I tried, everyone else must have done the same thing becasue it was suddenly sold out on several sights. This gloss does tingle a bit, but in a menthol kind of way, it feels nice. It is a little sticky, but not overbearing and it stays on all day long...and I mean all day long! The color is gorgeous, very pale peach and it looked good with my skin tone which is pale with pink undertones and freckles. Made my lips look plump and wet. I can't say enough about this product... I am a lip gloss fiend and this is the best I have tried as far as staying power and sheer sexiness. I'm eagerly awaiting another color that is on it's way from Sephora! Oh, plus the price is pretty good at $18 and a little goes a long way.

OUCH. This product HURTS like no other! I don't understand how people can wear this! I hear the burning goes away after about 10 minutes, but i cant seem to leave it on that long. The packaging IS cute, and I do love the cinnamon smell but DANG it hurts.
